The Made in Chelsea boys are a fickle bunch, but I can't help but like my two favourites - Sam Thompson and Jamie Laing! They just makes things more FUN. I think it's their boundless enthusiasm! Which obviously needs to be reigned in at times... Anyone been to see Jamie's Private Parts show?! He strips naked in it...

https://anidolmind.com/the-naked-truth-about-jamie-laings-private-parts/

Tempted? He DOES look pretty peachy!

Or is it more Jamie than you'd ever want to see?

Episode 2:

Quote

Sophie Herman performs at a jazz cabaret evening, accompanied by a rather worried Fred, while Liv is on the warpath as she learns Miles has set Digby up on a date with Bruna.

Airs October 15, 2018.

The perfect amount of Harry Baron on an episode of MIC is no Harry Baron on an episode of MIC. Well done , MIC ???. Add more Sophie and Mark Francis and Sophie and Francis and Sophie and Sophie and Sophie. Liv still sucks.

Sophie has grown on me, but she's best around anyone not named Victoria.  I liked that she went for it with her song and she gives Francis someone to play off.  Did Proudlock really say he's getting married?  I guess with his buddy Prince Harry tying the knot (& expecting his first child), Proudlock thought it was time.

am SO confused by Liv's behaviour... DOES she love Digby or no

I think she's just a self absorbed drama queen. I think she wants the drama and attention of a split with Digby but doesn't want him to actually move on.

Thinking about it, she opened up to Francis Boulle and he went abroad and seemingly forgot about her.

She only got a one night stand with Mytton...

Then remember her relationship with Fred? He had that flirtation with Mimi...

Maybe she decided to treat 'em mean in order to keep them keen!? And Digby's experiencing the outcome of that approach?!

Liv treats people like garbage then cries so nobody blames her and still gives her attention. Really loving Ryan. He’s called out both Liv and Harry on their bs. Literally AS SOON as he called out Liv’s crocodile tears she stopped crying and went straight into cold-hearted bitch mode. And Harry is trash, nobody should be giving a damn about his opinion.

Used to like Sam, but he really is just a fuckboy. He’s a narcissist who only wants Habs because he couldn’t have her. He’ll 100% cheat on her and Habs guard should be up after the rude little brat attitude he gave Tristan while Tristan was trying to have a reasonable conversation with Habs.

Anyone else going back and forth on their view of The Ryman?

He was a little too authoritative and aggressive when he talked to Liv in episode 5, but then I watched the most recent episode and felt really bad for him!

I feel like Louise has all the power in the relationship because she was saying that she usually gets her own way. And he seemed so cowered by the end of the episode I really felt for him! I don't understand why Louise was so determined to put him in an uncomfortable position?

This article just about sums it up for me: https://anidolmind.com/made-in-chelsea-the-one-where-miles-acts-like-a-22-year-old/

Used to LOVE Sam. He was great in CBB. Not sure what he's doing right now!

Totally agree with Jamie about him and Habbs - it won't last.

Not taken by Tristan though. Think he's WAY too interested in their relationship given he only went on two double dates with Habbs.

I think Ryan was right on in his take down on Liv. Especially when she started with the crocodile tears. I loved he wasn't having any of it. In typical Liv style she's all over him now as she only bullies people who she thinks will take it aka Digby.

Sam and Habbs are eye rolling because it's obvious they're not together in real life so everything that's happening is currently for the DRAMAZ! I think Tristan has overreacted given it was 2 dates but Sam is acting like such a tool. It's hard to watch.

So far Ryan’s only called out Liv and Harry, two dirtbags who needed to get called out but never do because everyone on this show is enabler, so I still support him.

I'm the only one on here who kind of likes Liv  - mainly because while Habbs and Melissa sit in cocktail bars talking about boys and generally getting their hearts broken, Liv is out on the town partying with the boys, not taking any of the players seriously, and generally can play them at their own game.

I like that she's a bit different. She IS very direct - almost brutal in her honesty, but I find it refreshing.

But I felt like there must have been a pretty serious conversation between Ryan and Louise for him to have changed so dramatically in his tone.

He looked so miserable and uncomfortable in the last episode. I did feel for him.

I thought he had every right to be cross with Liv (she made mistakes) I just thought he was a bit overbearing in the way he went about it.

He obviously has good principles though that the MiC set could really learn from and I definitely don't want him to experience the same fate as Digby.

Hope he stands his ground and doesn't give Louise her own way all the time simply because it's not healthy for any relationship.

See this is what gets me about Liv - I don't think she's playing lads at their own game and calling shots etc. She treated Digby like shit because she could basically. He had no backbone. Her relationship drama with him basically started because all her ~friends got involved in her business and didn't approve of it so she stared dramticising everything and then playing the victim when he tried to call her on it. If he'd just told her to fuck off when she started all that she'd have been all over him.

I hear what you're saying - I think it takes two to make a bad relationship though.

Liv probably wants a man who can stand up to her / is her match. There's nothing wrong with wanting that. They were in love with each other but weren't remotely compatible which is a confusing situation. And they both suffered for it, it's just that Liv is quite a robust character. She is able to walk away.

Remember when she was dating Fred and Mimi targeted him, and tried to flirt with him? When Fred seemed to be enjoying the attention, Liv didn't stick around trying to persuade him or thinking that things would change - she dropped him. That's a healthy response. It's what Digby should have done with Liv when he realised he wasn't quite right for her.

Again with Francis Boulle, they had a nice thing going on, and then he upped and left and forgot about her. She didn't pine around although she was obviously hurt. She is a tough cookie and I kind of like it.

I just don’t think Liv wants a relationship, period. My take was that she dumped Digby because he didn’t party and liked to stay in while she wanted to drink with her friends. And there’s nothing wrong with that, she’s still young. I just don’t understand her playing the victim or thinking Digny owes her anything. If I dump someone I can’t get mad if they start dating or socializing before I’m ready for them to move on.

This is exactly it. I feel she wanted to dump Digby and that's fine as they weren't compatible. My issue with it was that she wanted to end the relationship but also play the victim. She wanted him to be the bad guy. Then when he tried to move on she wouldn't allow that either.

You remind me of the previous review I read about the whole Liv and Digby thing! Yes, she's totally unreasonable - but he's enabling it. Copying and pasting below:

Meanwhile, Liv is back in town and has reached boiling point about Digby’s partying ways.

As a dumped ex, he should not be overly concerned with this, but being Digby, he is:

“You don’t have respect for me,” he exclaims in sudden realisation.

“No, well now I don’t. Obviously!” agrees Liv, who paradoxically manages to sound sharp and blunt at the same time.

“Why don’t you have respect for me now?” asks Digby – bravely or foolishly, depending on your perspective.

“Because of the way you’ve been behaving the last few weeks! Which is fine. You can do whatever you want that’s going to make you happy,” says Olivia, quite reasonably, before adding: “But it’s f*cking hurt me as well and I have felt sh*t as well.”

To sum up – Digby can more on. And he should move on. But if he does it will be extremely hurtful…

Stalemate.

Full article is here but I don't agree with all of it tho its funny you already saw the really relevant bit: https://anidolmind.com/made-in-chelsea-the-one-with-the-me-party/

I think Digby kind of forgot about himself, his own identity. He put Liv above himself. Even after she dumped him. That's not healthy.

Wow, the last couple episodes have been almost decent. Liv is taking responsibility for her actions, Harry isn’t giving anyone any bs, and Sam (while still annoying) isn’t acting like a brat. I wonder who will leave after the season? Jamie has been on forever and really doesn’t have a role now, though I’m sure he likes the attention. Maybe Liv and/or Digby leave similar to how Tiff left after breaking up with Sam? I wish Toff and Francis were back, even just occasionally.

Well, I wish Lucy Watson was back or Spencer Matthews! They certainly know how to stir things up!

Still we've got Ollie Locke, Jamie, Mark-Francis, Victoria, Louise, Fred - loads of old school people still.

But was reading the latest review and am a bit baffled as to how people think Miles and Sam have somehow redeemed themselves: https://anidolmind.com/the-one-where-jamie-is-a-best-bud-and-sams-love-life-is-a-dud/

Disagree!

Also am now wondering whether Habbs ever into Sam, or if it was all an elaborate exercise in social climbing, like his sister Louise thinks? I mean remember a few episodes ago Sam found and she was telling her boyfriend that she didn't like kissing him!

Having said that she seems really nice so its a bit confusing.

Don't agree that Jamie doesn't have a role anymore. He's always sticking his oar in although think it's better when we actually get storylines where he's the central character.

I think the latter, but not social climbing…she wanted to secure a spot on the show.  Jmo

Hard to tell if Habs intentions were honest (though I suspect there are several cast members we could make similar claims about). In the end, I think she does feel bad for hurting Sam and is trying to do the kind thing. I’m not sure why Louise still feels the need to butt into her adult brother’s love life and trash other women. Sam certainly isn’t a saint, and this breakup is a bit of a comeuppance for all the times he’s dogged girls. She needs to back off and mind her own business. There are better ways to support loved ones than going out and blindly attacking people and being rude whenever she feels someone hurts her brother.

Maybe Habbs thought she could date Sam and just see where it went, and I'm sure all the trappings were seductive, but it's fair enough if she wasn't in love with Sam. He fast-forwarded things really quickly, after all, and it takes time for feelings to develop. She couldn't catch up with him.

And yes, it's surprised me just how much Louise hates Habbs. She was so nice to Tiffany, Sam's longtime ex - and Tiff did cheat on Sam once. But Habbs, like Louise, is very glamorous and ripe for magazine deals, etc - is it possible that Louise feels threatened by that? I can see Habbs coming out with a fitness guide, just like Louise did!

Btw, I am hoping you guys have heard the news about Sam Thompson? Yes, he's appearing in Celebs Go Dating - AGAIN!!!

He's fun to watch, but it will be interesting to see if he is different with girls, post-hobbs. On the first series he invited TWO girls to the end of series party, where everyone was only supposed to come with the one partner they'd chosen above any other. Predictably he didn't tell them, and they weren't happy with him....

Here's hoping he'll be different this time around - now that he's been on the receiving end of being dumped for no reason!

There are probably several reasons for Louise’s behavior. It’s possible she reacted differently to Habbs vs Tiff because of circumstances. It’s possible she chose not to fight Tiff because Tiff had more support than Habbs does (I don’t like Lucy, but she’d definitely stick up for her sister and go right at Louise if she attacked Tiff. Louise seems to only attack those who can’t really defend themselves who don’t have tons of support). Or she could just see her position changing on the show and attacking girls is her way of getting screentime. I really like her fiancé, but this show isn’t really about happy couples, so maybe she’s more aggressive now than back when Tiff and Sam broke up. Or, maybe she knew Tiff was already leaving the series and didn’t see the point of fighting with her.

When is Made in Chelsea starting this month? It's no fun watching Sam Thompson being overexcited on Celebs Go Dating. Am scouring the web to see what other Made in Chelsea cast members are doing.

And not sure why everyone's having a go at Hugo Taylor because of that Junkfood experiment programme. He got a real bashing on twitter for dropping out. But just read this interview and he's a brit success story with his head screwed on if you ask me. https://anidolmind.com/taylor-made-entrepreneurship-lessons-with-hugo/

Wasn't the most fascinating chap on MiC but nice that he ended up with Millie. Someone who's a bit marmite these days is Proudlock. He was and is quite low key on Made in Chelsea but I find him a bit in your face on his show - what do you think? What's with all the hand gestures?

Sorry for shouting but this has been a long time coming!!

What will it be like with no Sam Thompson? He seems to be moving on up from reality TV o do some pretty cool stuff, and am not talking about Celebs Go Dating - here's his interview -

Do you think this new career will work for him? He seems pretty sociable so you'd think so.

Which of the newbies intrigue you? Or are you just looking forward to seeing Jamie, Mytton, Proudlock, etc? Here's all the newbies for you to love or loathe! https://thetab.com/uk/2019/03/06/made-in-chelsea-new-cast-94725

Episode 1:

The drama-free life comes to an end for Miles when Maeva moves to London. James plans a romantic trip to Paris with Eliza, and Sophie Herman throws a party.

Airs March 25, 2019.

Boy, does this new cast suck. MIC has just gone down a rabbit hole now of adding new, generic cast members without even trying to develop interest. Who are Freddie and Rosi and why are we following them throughout their day? They just come across as knock off versions of Mark Francis and Victoria, like we wouldn’t notice. This show has been formulaic for years, but now they’re at a breaking point of lameness.

There’s a a serious lack of strong females in this show. They just seem to get treated like shit by all the moronic males.

i don’t like Maeva or however you say her name but I don’t really understand how she’s in the wrong for being mad at Niles. Or for not going on a date with that little creep Angus.

James, Verity and that other girl are hard to watch. He couldn’t be any less sorry yet they’re all over him especially Verity. It’s so hard to watch.

Yeah so the girls are just bullies. That episode was uncomfortable to watch as they twisted everything that happened with Angus and Milestone suit the agenda they’re pushing of her being a bitch.

Made in Chelsea is back on in an hour. Was really interesting to see how people reacted to all that drama between Jamie Laing and James Taylor.

I have been watching Made in Chelsea since the beginning and I have NEVER seen Jamie like that before... I was #TeamJamie all the way because frankly Miles and James have been treating the girls like shite for quite some time now.

Reading this article made me think again though:

https://anidolmind.com/made-in-chelsea-the-one-where-jamie-wins-everything/

Can't ignore all those hints Alex Mytton keeps dropping, eh?

Also made me feel a TINY bit sorry for James which I thought I would never do.

What IS it that James Taylor has got that the other guys on Made in Chelsea haven't? It's a serious question. Why is he irresistible? Explain it to me.

Compared to Fred Ferrier, Alex Mytton, etc - why is JAMES the guy three girls are chasing?

All I’ve taken from this is that girl power does not exist in Chelsea. They are pathetic. Not only for chasing him in spot of his shitty treatment of them but also for the way they’ve treated each other. Verity especially. She’s such an asshole.

Just seen that there is an "exclusive" speed dating event with some of the Made in Chelsea cast on Wed 24th July!  Verity, Freddie, Eliza and Angus will be there so you can date them if you want.

Not sure who fancies who. I like blond Fredrik best but he's not going to be there.

It is free though. You just download a free dating app called CLiKD and register here: http://bit.ly/MADEINCHELSEA

You have to select AN IDOL MIND from the dropdown for your chance to win a ticket.

It will be in London so let me know if they are like they seem on telly!
