You would never know this to be the case if you looked over at the Lu thread.  No one has said "boo" over there for 2 weeks. Beth and Carole on the other hand, seem to garner far more interest around here. As someone else posted several days ago, Bravo pays heavy attention to this kind of thing. They have all kind of systems to calculate who is getting the most attention. And it's not Lu. Not that this means they are "safe" or anything like that. Aviva also got lots of hits. But it does tell them something about who the folks are paying the most attention to. And because it cannot be said enough - it's not Lu.

Did I find it pleasant? No, not really. I certainly didn't find it riveting.

What I did find it to be was silly, contrived, boring, predictable, phoney, overly hyped, and disappointing.

I am actually kind of surprised so many people thought it was so dramatic. And they're so upset about it, lol. I don't think Lu was half as bothered by it as some of the posters here seem to be.  There's just so much outrage. It's weird.

Def. the winner of this reunion was Dorinda!  I didn't think she would recover after the coke allegation but I loved how she stuck to her guns especially coming for Bethenny.  She was putting that ass in her place.  Loved it!

Bethenny has feelings now?  Give me a damn break.  This is the same woman who was nasty all season with Carole by her side and she gets called out by Dorinda and Luann and she can't take it.  Bye Felicia.

Sonja, why is she so pissed?  Dorinda was calling a spade of spade with her about Bethenny.  Sonja wants Bethenny to simply love and Bethenny just humiliates or craps on her.  I found it also funny she wanted to walk off when Dorinda was laying it on thick.  Well Dorinda could had done the same thing once Sonja cosigned to the coke allegations too, Sonja.

Look if Luann wants to stay with egghead Tom that's her business.  What's annoying me she keeps dancing around his behavior!  He's womanizer but that's on her if she wants that type of drama.  I do wonder if Ramona is sitting on information about Tom though, her body language and those pop eyes of hers wasn't sitting well with me at all.

Carole?  She could had stayed home and no one would had noticed.  She was just that irreverent in this reunion and season in general.  Bye.

After about 3 less than stellar seasons, this has definitely been the best one in sometime.

Yay. No more Bethenny on Wednesdays. Gah, what an ass. I used to work with someone who was so hungry she would interject every time when someone else spoke in a meeting - simply to break up the attention another employee was receiving. It was nails on a blackboard whenever B would pop in with 'that's right!' Or 'I get that' or 'bazinga!'. Stfu already.

Bethenny slipped up on that comment, but the rest of her story was told with much care of the words chosen.  It was the slowest that I think I've ever heard Bethenny speak.  She was choosing her words very wisely, so as not to reveal her "source" friend.

I can't believe Bethenny had the nerve to sit there and act like she was concerned about Luann's welfare and was conflicted about showing her the pictures. She gloated, laughed and planned her big reveal every step of the way. She couldn't wait to humiliate Luann on camera. I loved Luann's response to her and you could see Bethenny freakout like the bully she is. It's a classic case of she can dish it out but can't even take a fraction of it back. 

Carole's completely useless on this show. It's really frustrating how she interjects herself into conversations to protect Bethenny. 

I truly hope some of the women on this show and any potential new castmembers joining next season see the public support they have and will not let Bethenny walk all over them. She's in no position to talk about anyone else's character or relationships.

Did you notice though, that when Sonja threatened to walk out, she said she wanted to sit on the other couch and Ramona told her "NO", to go back to the other couch! LOL Yep, that's "real friend" Ramona for you Sonja! LOL

I found it telling that even after Luann and Dorinda explained how/what Bethenny did with the Tom cheating reveal was wrong and why it was wrong, Bethenny refused to admit she handled it badly and refused to apologize. Even Andy looked perplexed at her when she said she did nothing wrong, it was a WTF moment for him IMO.

On twitter she was called out for not joining in with the group hug, she blamed having strep, even though she had been on antibiotics for 48 hours, so no longer contagious. Also, for someone that claims strep, she never sounded like she had a sore throat, Andy did, but not Bethenny.

Andy or his producers must be aware that folks are tired of these screaming hags...witness his lame effort.."say something nice"...followed by a group hug. Oh please. They seem to loathe each other, and for good reason. They show up for the paycheck, not for friendship. And if they were "nice" they get iced, and then fired. (Ex. Jules).

"Village idiot" is not a literary reference or a metaphor...it is a centuries old insult. Andy forcing Lu to endlessly go over her relationship with Tom was like watching an inept lawyer try to conduct a cross examination. Tedious. Beyond. Words. Sonja still looks great, but she lets herself be played for a fool by Ramona (Ramona??) and Bethy. And her tearful affirmation of "simple friendship" with Bethy was nauseating. Girlfriend needs a goal in life...reach for dignity, Sonja.

Beyond that, Ramona has nothing, Carole has nothing, Jules has been shown the door. Lu continues to practice restraint and good sportsmanship. But, her constant affirmation of love and forgiveness gave Bethy no opening. Bitch looked frantic trying to find an opening to throw a knife. And, as the Brits say, Bethy looked generally gob-smacked. I don't know if it the most recent plastic surgery or Adderall, but she had this blank, empty face, while her eyeballs rolled around.

This is why I'm a tiny bit sympathetic towards Bethenny telling LuAnn about Tom. LuAnn was adamant that Bethenny could have told Dorinda, but Dorinda has been shady and gossipy all season. I just wouldn't trust her to not have that blowback on you if you were Bethenny. She sort instigated that entire Tom discussion on the yacht between Sonja and Ramona and then walked up to the deck and narc'd on them. As Dorinda said, "it wasn't about Bethenny."  I still think Bethenny, should have texted Tom the pictures.  Let them work it out.  Let Luann lead with what happened between she and Tom.  Always tell the cheater, not the one being cheated on.

It is like Sonja saying she and Tom were really good friends.  Maybe Tom doesn't feel that way about Sonja.

At least, Dorinda went up against Beth a number of times.  Same with Lu.  Unfortunately, Lu is not so good at this.  And kudos to Dorinda saying it wasn't about Beth and the pictures.

At least, Jules went up against Beth but because she is a nice person, she threw in an apology.  No Jules, you don't owe Beth an apology.

OK.  I've been on Sonja's side about the Berkshires.  I think she should have been invited.  It's not only about what the woman said, and I disagree, but it's also about Sonja getting a paycheck.  I am glad that the women got on Beth for going over the top with her meeting with Sonja about Tipsy Girl.  But yuk, Sonja then defends Beth.  Kind of desperate.

When Beth got up to leave, I was giddy.  Bye Felicia but, of course, she came right back.  

And God Andy, could you dissect the Tom thing anymore.  And speaking of which, Dorinda still didn't say that Tom asked her to lie.

I don't think I ever want to see or hear the name Tom again, unless it is a label on an article of clothing, perfume, shoes or makeup like Tom Ford (I ain't stupid). Seriously, it feels like all 3 episodes, each one seemed to devote half the time to something about he who shall not be named. Enough! I get that was the main event but I just couldn't take anymore. I actually stopped and started the episode several times to take a break from that constant drum beat. The only good part about that was Luann being upset with the way B did it and sharing with frenemies before coming to her. 

How is calling someone a village idiot a metaphor? I think it you lose the ability to call it that since it directly insults someone's intelligence or lack thereof.  

My fave messy as moll thug Dorinda wins this round too! I have my issues with her. Yes she is a shit stirrer, gossip, slurry drunk that tells all your damn business and than wants to conceal all evidence but damnit I am so desperate for someone, anyone to put it to Beth that I can't help but cheer for her. Her exchanges with B let her know that she ain't the one!

Beth calling anyone angry and aggressive is for to laugh! Talking all that shit about caring and wanting Lu to be happy and saying she apologized for the Berkshires but yet she hasn't stopped calling her slut and saying nasty shit into any mic shoved in front of her pinched coin slot of a mouth. The terrible awful indeed.

Why the hell did B even get up with the dramatic "I can't do this anymore?" just to sit back down and willingly answer the question.

Lu's regret this season is getting in a fight with Tom because if she hadn't none of that mess would have popped off? Girl, is that your final answer? Insert the Tyra "I was rooting for you" gif!! 

Did Carole even get a clip segment of her season 8 highs and lows? I am changing from calling her STFU Carole to non-motherfucking factor Carole. If Jules no longer has a job (and she actually had a s/l and a clip reel) than neither should Carole.

I have always felt that Dorinda was a bit dishonest about not inviting Sonja just for Sonja's sake. I just can't believe it was truly altruistic. I think on some level Dorinda chose B over Sonja. However, Sonja is just determined to be mad at the wrong person and she just managed to look incredibly stupid. Anything to be in B's good graces. I get it about being mad because appearance translates into $$ here but being so, over the top mad while lapping at the feet of someone who was so nasty to you makes her look terrible. Meanwhile, B still can't help but roll her eyes at Sonja talking about traveling to exotic locales. Well, Sonja showed and proved this summer during the off season. Her ass was all over Europe and even at Leo DiCaprios world famous, highly sought after charity even on a yacht in South France. Sure it was probably due to her companion Rocco's pull, but she was there. LOL!

The hug was stupid.  But it also puts on notice for all and any that are there next season to see just how well the Monster plays well with others.  She is going to always make the rest of you work harder, feel less and that she is above the rest of you and therefore the queen of hypocrisy.  Strep my ass.  

I think Dorinda knew she had to bring it at the reunion and she also knew even if she brought it and it didn't keep her on, she would go out on a perceived high note of not completely rolling over.

Carole is worthless.  They could have at least given her a montage of hideous eating to show the highlights of her season. 

Luann.   I think part of the problem is that by the time of the reunion, there was enough dislike of the Monster showing in social media that Luann mistakenly thinks it is a team struggle.  It is not Luann.  No matter how disgusting the Monster is.  How heinous.  How despicable and completely crass and stupid and hypocritical and nasty and disgusting, oh I used that one already, it does not mean I give you a pass.  The Monster's attacks are not a pass to be an ass yourself.  Just because the way in which Tom's horrible behavior being revealed was equally horrible in its own way it was still a different thing.  They are connected but they are not balancing each other out.  And that is what I sense here.  That Luann thinks that the means with which it was revealed and the malice that was clearly behind it somehow counteract this terrible person she is so determined to try and absolve.  Nope.  Sorry.  They fit in different compartments on why I loathe you ____________ (insert housewife name here) and yet can laugh and jeer at what a vain silly nasty person you are who lives for validation even as in the process you show your own ass.  Proving how fun it can be to see people trying to lord it over the viewers and end up as just mock worthy.  So no Luann.  Tom is still a creep and a schmuck and not worthy of even you no matter how stupid you are in refusing to see it.  Because I do think you do see it.  But are just as stubborn as the Monster in refusing to admit a wrong.

And the Monster trying to say her actions were done out of care?  Well no.  Lennie in Mice and Men actually loved the mouse.  You however just want blood and guts and to feel someone squish between your fingers.   And if a pillow can be ruined in the process and then handed off to your drive inappropriately, more the better.

Sonja getting rejected by the Ho's on the other couch should have made it obvious to Sonja where she really stands with them.  I noticed it was after that happened that she got up to apologize and hug it out with Lu and wish her well...she saw that it wasn't doing her any good to snipe at Lu since she'd end up with no friends at all because the other couch was not going to welcome her.

Ramona and her dumbass stunt about feigning she had the goods on Tom to propel the going nowhere theme of, "Would you want to know?".  Really lowbrow.  And again with these stupid bitches telling people how they should feel and what they should be looking for in a husband.  Of all people to speak on not being deep-Ramona Singer?  The dating and skating queen.  The woman who had a serious boyfriend in Colorado and was running around dating Tom and seeking advice from Sonja and Bethenny on whether or not to sleep with him?

Bethenney took a break for S4,5&6 came back S7 &8.

I was able to find ratings seasons 3-8 average weekly viewers and I rounded. 

S3 was 2 million, S4 was 2 million, S5 was 1.6 million, S6 was 1.3 million, S7 was 1.3 million and S8 is 1.5 before Reunion Part 3.  Jill, Alex and Kelly were fired after S4 wrapped which I assume accounts for the almost 25% drop in viewers for S5.  For this current season most of the good ratings that pulled up the weekly average were for the last epi of the season and the first two reunion shows which all rated around 1.8-1.9 million each.    No wonder the reunion was about Luann vs  Bethenney with Tom getting more mentions than any of the other hws.  If it hadn't been for Tom drunkenly sucking face with his old squeeze it would have been another lackluster season ratings wise.  Thanks Tom!

I didn't fall for that stunt because if Ramona had a hurtful, humiliating piece of information on Luann there is no way she would have kept it to herself this long.  She would have typed it up, printed it and handed out flyers at the first reunion.

Other than trying to milk  the RHONY teat dry for ratings, I can see no reason at all for three reunion shows.   There were moments when I was thankful I don't  have the dog with me this week.  The high pitched shrieking would be torture on his ears.  The only moment I enjoyed was Doris telling Bethy, "That's an asshole opinion."  That could be the tag line for this show.
