Catelynn has an emotional goodbye with Tyler and then heads to a treatment facility for her anxiety and depression; and Maci and Taylor buy a bigger house to fit their growing needs.

But not a treatment facility for her dependency to pot and possible alcohol. And then there is her whole Prickitis problem.

Maci and Taylor can kiss my ass.

Hello, Goodbye - that is what MTV should tell all of these damn heifers on this show. Cut them loose.

I wonder if Taylor and Maci experienced some trouble paying the mortgage on the new house when no one was interested in purchasing the photos of the baby?

Never thought of that!  I thought perhaps the new baby may have FAS and Maci doesn't want anyone to see photos of him...i hope that's not the case but it is a concern...she did drink heavily.

Maci and Taylor bought their current home when Maci was still pregnant with Jayde. I'm not good at math, but they've only been living there for, what, over a year or so? It looks like a decently-sized house that can easily fit five people plus two dogs. Maci has pulled this shit before. Newly pregnant? Let's buy a house! Newly pregnant? Let's quit my job and school! She's such a loser. And to think that people thought she had potential.

i think that Maverick may have FAS and that's why Maci and Taylor haven't pimped out his photos yet like they did with Jayde. He's a few months old now---you'd think his photos would be plastered all over the tabloids in the supermarket checkout lanes. So either he has FAS and Maci doesn't want people to know, or people weren't offering to pony up the big bucks for his pictures.

Neither of them have any pictures of the new baby on their instagrams. Just one where he is in a sling and you can't see his face. If these were normal people that wouldn't be weird but they post lots of pics of their other kids so it is weird. I guess if that are filming another season we will see him eventually

I figure this is probably just a case of Maci trying to drum up interest, either for the new season or in hopes of selling his image. I do not think they would have the baby out in public if there was something visibly wrong with him-too risky. They would not want someone else to sell the story before them.

Remember the actual shack Maci was living in when they brought this show back? It's not that long ago. I just remember the scene where she took her holy stand against beingo n a show that also had Farah on it, it was like really, really uh, humble.

Would most people really recognize FAS in a baby though? I just googled it and I don't know if I would see a newborn baby with FAS and immediately recognize it. Its kind of obvious in older children.

Anyway with all the speculation one would think Maci would just IG a pic of the kid to shut everyone up. I know I wouldn't want all this criticism especially had I been documented drinking while pregnant on camera ( even if she didn't know she was PG at the time)

I guess it would work either way in that case-if he has FAS and it doesn't appear obvious than there would be no reason to hide him away. Nobody would suspect.

Tyler really knows how to turn it on for the cameras don't he? See, those acting lessons in New Orleans really did pay off.

Crying on cue in the car taking Cate to the airportrip? Yeah right. He wouldn't  give a damn if she never came back from Arizona.

Yeah, he would. Because who would take care of Nova? April and her weirdo husband can only keep the kid for so long and Kim has no time or patience to be a full-time nanny. Plus, without Cate around, B&T would cut Tyler off without a second thought. He needs Catelynn like he needs to breathe.

Is this the very special mental health episode?

Cate: depressed

Amber: manic "depressant" (ummm...), borderline personality

Farrah: terminal stupid with her gravity comment and Simon

Maci: crazy for buying a new house?

Loved the little scene from Amber's birthday party of Leah with the "seashell" bra and Gary telling her not to grow up too fast, juxtaposed with Sophia in a "coconut" bra in Hawaii with lipstick smeared all over her mouth!

I couldn't help but notice the huge array of liquor bottles on top of April's kitchen cabinets. Makes it tough to be sober. Cate looked really rough in this episode, she looked like she could've been April's sister instead of her child.

Maci's new house looks like a glorified mobile home. No curb appeal at all. And what was with that wisecrack of Ryan's to Bentley about the ease of having girls climb in the window of his upstairs room in a few years. What an inappropriate thing for a father to say. It was supposed to be funny, but it just fell flat.

Farrah's segments were incredibly boring. She invites Simon over, they fight, she kicks him out. Same as last week. She's snotty, stuck up and no one will ever please her. Sophia's coconut bra was hilarious!

But all was not lost, Amber finally got off her couch.

Surprise, Amber! Your money paid for this surprise party!

Did Amber say she is on Klonopin? No wonder why she has very little.motivation to get off of the couch. That stuff robs you of your motivation like nobodies business. My doctor prescribed it to me for anxiety and I stopped using it after a few weeks becuase it robbed me of my energy and motivation.

IMO,  those were tears of relief coming out of Tyler's eyes becuase he doesn't have to look at Catelynn for the next few weeks. And who the hell is he to talk about Cate not having any aspirations...what exactly is he doing besides sit around all day and bitch about B&T.

This episode is worse than last week. Only because it's becoming too obvious that this show did so much harm to these people to the point where they are stunted. It's gross. And yet I'm a part of the problem because I can't not watch. It's just getting harder and harder to even enjoy this anymore.

More time to freely talk to chicks ( or dudes ?) online . Tyler believes his own hype .  ?head

All I know is that the scene on the boat with Farrah and Simon was cringe worthy.  Does he like being verbally abused by a never satisfied über bitch?  He clearly doesn't have love for her otherwise he would get with the program like her mother and dad.  Michael was probably hoping those two would make it while Deborah can't stand him and vice versa.  Simon can't want tv time so bad that his friends and family see him taking such shit from Farrah.  He should curse her ass out one good time and turn and walk away never to return again.  The crew would cheer him (quietly) of course and so would all of us viewers who can't stand her hateful personality.  Nobody and I mean nobody ever puts that woman in her place.  If I remember correctly, Debra used to give her the what for but my, my, how the tables have turned.  I think I am going to have to fast forward thru her scenes.  Maybe I am just getting old and grouchy because Catelynne again crying about she needs help (going to get it finally) and Amber and her excuses and getting away with not paying child support to Gary.  Oh what do I care, what do I care lol.  These reality shows are driving me nuts!

Debra: "He (Simon) called me fake."

Farrah: " Mom, I don't even care."

LOL

Simon looked like The Fly (original version) with that helmet on.

When I vacationed in Hawaii a few years ago, it was nothing but joy and fun. Farrah makes a trip to Hawaii more like a trip to HELL! I tried to avoid looking at her and just looked at the places we visited .

As I was waiting for Farrah to say something to make me laugh like last week with "appreciative" and "socialism", she said "I don't act like a fucking crazy bitch! I'm never crazy!" So there it was.

I was hoping hoping hoping Cate would confess something about Tyler while on the "therapist"'s couch. I felt like she was on the verge but that she was hiding it. I also felt like she WANTED to, but wouldn't. And I don't particularly believe that she doesn't want to be away from Nova. If it's anyone she doesn't want to be separated from it would be Tyler, even though he's the biggest jackass. Remember, this is the woman that wanted to COMBINE their bachelor/bachelorette parties because they can never seem to do anything separately, except get high.

The skin around Krystal's eyes is always brown. She looks deathly ill.

When Amber and Matt kiss it looks as though they each have been dared to kiss a stinging nettle.

Something positive? That stuffed pineapple with the smile on the counter in Hawaii was really cute. I want it.

Is it in the producers' job description to suck up to their worthless talent?  That woman praising Amber for the amazing job she's done at her tender age sounded like one of her social media groupies.  Let's see...she's gotten over two hundred grand a year for the past seven years and still lives in a rental house and hasn't gotten off her couch long enough to take a class or work at an actual job -- and she doesn't even have custody of her daughter.    Applause, applause, applause.

Farrah was her usual arrogant self, exclaiming that one of the "minions" can just place Simon's bag by the trash.  Funny that she herself ended up doing it. Breaking news:  Water is heavier than gravity.  Of course nobody laughed at her or called her on her idiocy.

Somebody please tell Catelyn that her so-called therapist is beyond useless.

Not one of the men in these OG moms' lives has an actual education, trade skill, or job.  They've attached themselves to these women like leeches, and they're taking full advantage of the fame and money.  Good job, MTV.

Maci's earlobe also looked infected. Yuggh.

Did anyone catch when Taylor said "This would be a fabulous party deck!" and the realtor said "Yes, this could hold a lot of kids' birthday parties!"

HA. Hardly the kind of "parties" Taylor and Maci have in mind.

That kiss between Amber and her cellmate was more affectionate than anything between her and Matt!

Did Simon want a trip to Hawaii THAT badly that he would somehow tolerate Farrah's repeated abuse?  That fight on the boat ramped up in about 5 seconds.

I think the only thing that made me laugh was Maci during her dinner date with Taylor, when she called her next child a great nickname that had to be bleeped out and then talked about how they still have boxes of unpacked things from their last move. At times, Maci is totally trolling us on this show, because why else would she say things like this? I swear. She's playing this game so well. I think she totally knows what she is doing at this point.

I swear Amber has read these boards.  When she spouted how the Teen Moms should invest their money for the future, I nearly choked. .She sounded so rehearsed.

Nice watch there, Matt. Amber must have bought it for you since your lazy ass does not work.

Nice grill, too! I also noticed the price tag still dangling from the tongs as the burgers were being flipped. Ha!!

I noticed during the cute scene with Maci and Talyor having dinner at their new table, no one had beer, just coke and juice.  Jade is adorable.

I love how easily they found a new house.  A major purchase, somewhere they may live the rest of their lives, and they pick it out on a whim.  Meanwhile, a wedding day that only lasts 12 hours tops, requires months of planning and stress.   I'm curious how much the house cost and if they went the Catelyn route if just paying cash.

I hate moving with a passion. I can't understand how or why all these girls, with the exception of maybe Chelsea, love packing up and moving every 60 seconds.

Sure Bentley will love his new room, but unless it's a replica of the one Ricky Schroeder had on Silver Spoons, I'm sure he's just fine with the old one. No kid likes being moved around.

I couldn't stop staring at the giant glass of wine sitting in front of Amber, right after she listed all the meds she's on.

How did Gary not laugh at Matt's text? "Hey Bro!" Hee. Matt's greasy.

Simon must be trolling Farrah. That's the only reason I can come up with for him repeatedly dealing with her. He's not allowed to talk to guests at parties. He's not allowed to relax on a boat and enjoy the sunset. But she's not cray-zeh. She's far from cray-zeh. And she's never upset. I did laugh when Debra started talking about how Simon spoke to her and Farrah interrupted her with a "Mom, I don't really care." Only room for one narcissist here, Deb. Simon is obviously sleazy, but I admire his ability to remain calm and patient with Farrah. He should use his powers for good.

"You know what I always wonder: if the earth is a circle, how does the water always stay? Gravity? I know the water's a little bit more heavier than gravity."
It sounds like Farrah stumbled onto one of those Flat Earth 'documentaries' on YouTube.

Oh, maybe you're new to the series and don't know this...  Ryan is actually Bentley's big brother and not his father.

So much change at once isn't good for a kid.  New baby, another new baby, a new house, etc.  Hopefully he didn't have to change schools or sports teams.

I know a few of us on here are licensed mental health clinicians or allied health professionals.  I'm still confused as to why this therapist has allowed herself to be on this series.  I'm an outpatient mental health clinician.  Even with my clients that I've worked for years with and have much professional pride in the work we've done together, I would never let our sessions be filmed -- or re-act past sessions.  I don't get it???  Is she being compensated for her participation?  Years ago, one of my mentors/clinical supervisors said to me, "If you're asking if it's unethical, it is probably unethical."

I loved when she told her therapist "I'm going to get professional help," implying that the therapist was providing none of that, even though it is ostensibly her job. And I can't believe I'm going to do this again, but Tyler really did look broken up about her leaving, and it wasn't because he has no babysitter. Everything else aside, this has been his main girlfriend / best friend since he was what, fifteen? He might not had white hot lust for her, but he certainly cares for her, and I'm sure he is empathizing with what a difficult decision she's made, and how he hopes she gets better. Again, not a fan of Tyler, and he hasn't helped the situation, but I can't it another way, like he's all "Gotta fake a breakdown now!" or "Oh no, I'm not going to have a babysitter" or "Once these cameras are gone I'm going to be just fine." It was one of the few genuine moments this show's had in the last like five seasons, seems overly cynical to take it a different way (and I'm a cynic!).

So this!  Tyler is affected by Cait's illness by virtue of the fact that he cares for her and they live together.  He just wants his partner back and things back to normal so they can get on with their life.  He doesn't say the right things all the time, and the internet won't let him forget the wrong things he says and does, but I truly do believe he was broken up about Cait having to leave to get well.  And for the record I am not for Tyler but neither am I against him.  Cait and Tyler have been through so much together, I just want them to come out whole, healthy and happy  and be good parents to Nova.

I love that Simon basically took a free trip to HI knowing that he had to sit through probably a three hour cruise, a tongue lashing from Farrah, and then he could have the weekend all to himself. It took like six minutes for that to devolve, and I loved how Farrah's parents were trying to hide their incredulity at her inviting him in the first place, lest they catch some of her shrapnel. Finally her drunk mom was all "Why invite him, we haven't had any arguments on this vacation, just enjoy it!" only to be snipped by her response "I AM ENJOYING IT! REGARDELSS OF WHO IS HERE!" Yeah, that was the face of sheer vacationing bliss. I love how wholly and truly unhappy she is, she can't hide it.

  • Love 13

So Farrah is on vacation in Hawaii. She decides to invite Simon, despite how badly they got along last time. The minute he shows up, she begins critiquing every single thing he does. "Talk more. No, not like that. Talk louder. Say this". Damn. I'd run away too. Why do those two even bother? At this point I can only conclude that she is doing this for a storyline, because wow - they don't even like each other! Let alone love. Sorry, Sophia. He's not your new daddy.

And how awkward it must be for Deb to vacation with Michael's new love!

Nice pageant dress, Farrah. Perfect for a boat ride.

WHY does Maci need a bigger house? Taylor is whacked. Their house looks plenty big to me. My house is just shy of 1000 sq feet and we have 5 people living here. It was originally 880 and when we found out we were having our 3rd kid, my husband built an addition so we could give her our room. Have they never heard of room-sharing? My boys share a room and probably will until....well, I don't know when.

Jayde is a cutey, though. I LOVED her cracking herself up, and in turn cracking Bentley up. Maci makes some cute kids.

Matt's "look out, Trump" was so fucking hilarious. Is that what you aspire to? (Check it out, Tyler, he has aspirations!) Next up for Matt and Amber - bankruptcy!

And did I seriously hear Amber ask Matt if it was her weekend with her daughter? Like she didn't know??? Like she has so much to keep track of in her busy life of couch surfing and animal hoarding that she can't remember her simple custody schedule? Bitch, please.

Her reaction to seeing her former cellmate was interesting. Did they kiss on the lips? I was sensing some real chemistry there. A lot more than I've ever seen with her and Matt.

Matt sucks as a party planner, though. Why didn't he have the guests park around the block???

So a producer walks into Tyler and Catelynn's house - Tyler is engrossed with his phone. Catelynn appears to be passed out on the couch. Nova is playing alone with some keys on the floor. This is their life. I'M getting depressed watching it.

Although, I do find it interesting that Cate can't seem to wash her hair, but always has her nails professionally done.

I will say, Tyler's tears and sadness over her leaving did seem sincere. I do think he loves her, but I don't think he's in love with her. I see them more as best friends. And, of course, Tyler doesn't love anyone more than Tyler. He's probably worried about how he's going to film without her while she's gone.

That dress! WOW, what the fuck is wrong with her? I couldn't describe it myself, but pageant dress is absolutely spot on. It's just bizarre. And her hair looks like horse hair. Again, I get real joy from how deeply and immutably unhappy she is. "Tell Sofia she looks cute! LOUDER. LOUDER!!!!!" and the guy's like "nah." I can't figure out her mom's current story, either, she's a weirdo.

And seriously, surprise party, but she literally can't get into the driveway. Why bother, why not just have the party and be done with it? And I agree, I think Amber should be with her old celly.
