I'm guessing Jill posted about using nipple cream as lip balm because it's a "hack". Hacks seem to be very trendy and while I find some interesting, most of them have been around for eons. It seems for some, the information was never passed down. Everything old is new again, I guess.

Yeah, using nipple cream as a lip balm is a fairly common hack for people taking Accutane. I've never tried it but a friend of mine on the medication said it was recommended to her years ago (she said it was pretty gross and sticky).

I don't think they're all that secretive about Sam's birth. Sam was born via c-section after 40 hours of labor.  TLC seems to have stopped filming them about that time so no episode. Fundies love homebirth and vaginal birth, so most of the leghumpers weren't interested in hearing about a second consective c-section. (As someone who knows multiple babies/people now grown and their mothers who were saved by c-sections, it makes sad and angry that fundies and even regular people shame women who've had c-sections.)

As for Jill having more kids, both Jill and Derick have made it clear they think Jill can have more kids. Derick said she didn't get a hysteretomy and both he and Jill have made statements saying they expect/ may want to have more children. If there is some reason Jill can't have more kids, then the Dillards haven't realised that yet. Derick has also mentioned wanting to deliberately slow the baby train so it could be deliberate they have yet to have more children.

I don't think he'll disclose that. He's not going to write anything that would make him look bad. 

On the one hand, I can see where Derick would get pissy about being called out for grifting on a post where he is inviting people to go to church with him. On the other hand, he's such a tool that while I wouldn't do it, I don't care that someone else has.

Derick really needs to learn the art of quietly deleting tweets that call him out on his bullshit rather than trying to engage. He's neither witty nor clever enough to turn those around on people without getting his ass handed to him.

Yea, I agree! I would read it with curiosity, but there is no way I'd take anything he says at face value without some additional verification because he has shown that he plays fast and loose with the truth. I'd guess the job of fact-checking his manuscript, if it ever gets that far, would be a bitch.

I think "working on a book" is just something he says to impress his "fans", rile up his detractors, give Jim Bob something to worry about and make himself look smart and accomplished. Those are really unflattering pics, but I have to give Jill major props for taking actual before and after photos. Most commercials show what amounts to a mug shot compared to a glamour shot. Those results are much more realistic.

Several years ago, a friend was selling some "wonder" creams to reduce wrinkles. In the before picture, the person had a large smile with a bunch of wrinkles. In the after picture, no smile, just a relaxed face. Smiling brings out your wrinkles!!!
