I feel like the constant yaaaays from Jill might be her way of coping with her less than idealistic life, kind of a fake it til you make it situation. If she can convince everyone else she loves her life ... maybe she will, too, because that's the only thing she's been trained to do. She's never been taught she could take control of her own life an and change her situation, and even if she did, nothing that would actually make her Life better is Gothard approved.

Yaaaays are literally all she has.

Kind of like Michelle talking in a baby voice even though she's angry so she stays sweet, to the point that that's all she uses now.

Life must really suck when you can't express any emotions except acceptance and mild happiness.

I really, REALLY cannot figure these two out.   Every single thing she posts just screams dysfunction!   I don’t believe either of them is remotely happy.   

My heart breaks for those boys...   The ever previous Sam and the afterthought Yay.

** my reference to Sam being “ever previous” is because it’s very clear that he is the favorite.

Yeah, even store-bought tea goes rancid after a couple of weeks or so. 

I second whoever said that Jill probably doesn't know what the Boston Tea Party was about. That said, the entire "joke" is just so stupid and pointless. Every time Dreck tries to say something "intellectual," he just sounds like an average-intelligence seventh grader who's desperate to be seen as super smart. Lucky for him, he found one of the few women in AR who can make him feel bright by comparison.

First off, the clutter in that house is giving me hives, and second, wtf did I just watch?

I feel like Derick and Jill are working overtime to portray themselves as this cutesy Instagram couple, but the mutual resentment lingers too close to the surface for them to be believable.

SDC is Silver Dollar City, a smaller amusement park they like to visit. IIRC it is a more family themed park than the bigger ones.  Don't know how or if religion is involved.

I was wondering too what the guns were for.  Instead of all her Yays, she could have explained about them.

SDC=Silver Dollar City, fundie amusement park favored by the Duggars.  The guns they were holding were part of an amusement park attraction.  I believe SDC is a pretend wild, wild west sort of place.

SDC is fundie owned and endorsed.  I have a feeling the Duggars get free passes since they all seem to show up there multiple times a year.  Jill didn't explain about the guns, but I think they were props for some pseudo western attraction there.

This morning I found myself gushing with YAYS before I gasped and bit my tongue. In my defense it was my response to my 10 week old puppy piddling outside for the first time.

I guess if Jill can train Derelict to pee outside he'd be worthy of a yay from me too. Maybe she can also teach him not to bite the hand that feeds him.

1 thing I think we forget , because we live in the world, is that Jill got married thinking they would be spending all their time together... she has the boys ( who are adorable and she doesn’t deserve them) and Dillweed goes off on all his passion projects.  Hey I wanna be a lawyer.  I’m waiting for him to want to be a fireman or something .... and she’s lost becaus  life is different off the compound   I hope they never get pets ..  he has an escape and maybe even friends ( use the term loosely). I feel a tad bad for her because I come from a fundie type background.  And her role model is Michelle...—I work 2 jobs and am a pack rat that’s why my home had clutter.  What’s her excuse ?

I agree that Jill lacks personality. Derick has one; it's just gross and unattractive.

So, I commented on this on the other thread, but I'll say it here: I thought there was a remote possibility that this was referring to Jeremy, not Derick. I mean, it COULD be Derick because he has previously been a public asshole, but it's hard to believe that Derick would have escorts or even a mancave for that matter.

On the other hand, Jeremy's currently more active with church activities than Derick since the latter is in law school, and I could see him having a mancave and escorts, but he also wasn't previously a public asshole in the same vein as Derick.

I also don't fully believe that Josh is that distanced from the main family. Sure, he is distanced from TLC and Counting On. But he has been seen in Duggar family gatherings and outings. I do believe that Derick is distanced from the family though.

I'm curious to see how Derick does in law school. I don't think he is too stupid to become a lawyer, but I do think having Jill as a wife will make things harder for him to do well.

As far as he CDAN, if it is true, I think it is referring to Derick as he was the a*hole on SM. I'm not sure how he would pull off a man cave, haha.  If he doesn't want to have sex with Jill it is because they low key hate each other and sex=babies.

Eeeeew gross. Jill posted Anna's messipe for Chickenetti to the blog. She replaced the Rotel with green chilis, but the rest seems to be intact, including the requisite can of Cream of Chicken soup. 

Not linking so they don't get the hits.
