The Seewalds: Benessa and The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Name... & Henry

I wonder what put a bee in Bin's bonnet and shook him out of his Benadryl haze? He rarely posts on social media. A fight with Jessa? General dissatisfaction with life?

The bills for Jessa’s near-disaster of a home birth started coming in.

JB requires occasional proof that Ben is still drinking the Kool-aid in order to keep Benessa on the Duggar payroll.

He has too much time on his hands, since he doesn’t have a real job?

Seriously, how much time does it take in a day to lift weights with your BILs to stay buff and groom a beard?  He is so ridiculous.  Three little ones and he provides no income for their care.

He definitely should have graduated from Moody by now, even accounting for the two semesters he took off when the boys were born. He should be working at a real job. That is, unless he's going to grad school. In that case, I see him still employed by Boob.

Regarding the above explanations of Bin's outbursts:

Great list, folks.

I fear the answer is "all of the above."

I'd feel somewhat distraught if I already had three kids and was spinning my wheels to the extent he is. I wonder if they've now just concluded that TLC money will continue forever?

Even if I did think this, though, I'd feel as if I wasn't pulling my weight for those kids, seems to me.

It Hot Springs near where the Seewald's live?

An Arkansas couple with 4 adult children recently adopted 7 and 2 more children. Seven siblings and two siblings, making them a family with 13 kids.

Oh and they've fostered about 80 kids over 5 years.

And Jessa and Ben have adopted how many?

I am no fan but do we know this or just speculating?

Second fairly well-known recent appearance (Tom Brady pecks his 11-year-old son on the mouth):

Of course, the Duggars en masse would sexualize this, so maybe Ben doesn't have a really good leg to stand on (the Rock catches hell for posting a picture of his naked 3-year-old at a swim lesson):

He is probably hiding from the diaper mountain. Or it’s smell that made him even more insane.

Then he can do something about it. He's as much responsible for the diaper mountain as Jessa is. Although now that Spurgeon is walking and talking in full sentences, I'm pretty sure it's his responsibility to dispose of the diapers.

I also noticed that the curls are gone. I guess Jessa doesn't have the time to properly tousle the boys' hair now that she's got Ivy Jane attached to her boobs.

Is that a girl pajama on Henry?

I'm starting to see a bit of  a resurgence of gender-neutral clothing for young children, and I for one am happy that Jessa seems at least marginally less obsessive than the typical Gothardite about silly rules about boy colors and girl colors.

It's come up a few times with her, so I'm thinking, even if it isn't intentional on her part, she's not uptight about it, which is good.

Yes, definitely! I was pleasantly surprised by her color choices for newborn Ivy.  I had expected a pinksplosion for the first girl after two boys.

I don't think she notices at all.

If I thought she was more relaxed than her peers on gender roles, I'd give her due credit. The fact is, though, that she's lazy and slovenly and I don't think that it's an active choice on her part. I think she takes outgrown clothes from the TTH for her boys and all of the youngest kids were girls.

I wouldn't rule that either! LOL Still, it signifies to me she is not as caught up in the gender stuff as her parents were if she's not ruling out stuff because it is for the "wrong" sex.

She also shops at that NWA thrift shop chain whose name I can't recall. Once Upon a Child comes to mind, but I don't know if that's the chain. @Zella, help!

At any rate, those shops seem to have clothes marked by gender, so if Jessa did thrift Henry's jammies, they were in the boy's section.

Let me dig! I'm not actually much of a thrift store shopper myself.

@Sew Sumi is it Rhea Lana's? She posted about it back in March.

Also toddler curls are often fleeting and disappear after hair trims.

I was looking through Bin's twitter and I agree his stupid responses aren't worthy of my comments but I thought this retweet was funny. 🙄🤣

Are they just pulling stuff out of their ass? Who said a father kissing their kids is weird? And  "raw pornographic material" probably just means nudity to

Never mind. It's all been said.
