That is just a bad shot of Jessa -- horrible position, horrible expression (not to mention her big ugly chin and jaw sticking out)-- that no one should ever have posted, in my opinion. Didn't anybody notice what a crap shot it is? And it was taken by a professional?

Did Jessa force the woman to fork that one over because she was so enamored with the look of her precious Godly-for-Gothard locks that she didn't notice that she, herself, looks awkward and absurd as hell? And as if she'd do anything to get away from Bin? Or what? 

They really are idiots.

In the weeds but with an apartment building in almost every shot.

In the shot of Jessa walking away with Ivy it looks like the a gremlin is coming for them.

Is she saving the Ivy pics for another day? Or was Ivy just not having it on photo day?

I guess another new trend is to have every picture be a playful "candid" shot.

And one more thing. Back in the day photographers wanted the back drop to be the background, not part of the picture. When they wanted the background to be more prominent, light a sunset, they posed the subjects differently. The white and wheat colored clothes and white blanket combined with the wheat is awful.

The Duggars certainly do have a knack for copying every trend, in a bottom shelf kind of way.

What is it with adults taking and displaying posed, staged kissing pictures? 

WTF is the impetus for that? 

Since I don't look at many social-media photos, I don't know whether this is largely exclusive to this sexually-disordered, supposedly modesty-worshipping crowd or whether it's a general trend at the moment. 

Either way, it says nothing complimentary about the participants, if you ask me. It's behavior I expect from 13-year-olds with newly raging hormones and no comprehension of the world, not grown-ass adults. 

When you show off your kissing like this, Bin Seewald, it just makes me assume that you're very seldom actually getting any. And that's probably not the impression you intend to give, is it? 

Next stop: faux-humping Jessa on the mini-golf course.

I'm not a huge SM follower either. In real life, pictures such as you describe are usually done for engagement, wedding and anniversary photos.

Jessa does seem to have a pressing need to prove to her followers that she and Ben are madly in love. So there's that.

There was that long ago episode where Jana came over to install "can lights".  I can't remember why but Jessa was scrounging under her bed.  The camera panned under there and oh my gosh, the dust bunnies.

Normal dust bunnies are small but when dust is mixed with four feet long hair, evidently they grow supersize.  They were enormous!

I agree, I don't know how they deal with constantly clogged drains and hair in their food.  It's so gross.

All the Duggars and Bates do their family pictures dressed in beige/oatmeal/wheat and maybe they are trying for a sepia look.  I also can't wait for that far to die.

Ivy's face only being in one picture was strange.

What stuck out to me besides the boring beige, was that Jessa was the only 1 in a color.  So your eye is drawn to her and the others are just props.  They are bad pictures...

Ivy was in two or three of the total photos that they posted.  In none did she look happy and in one, she was definitely not having it.  I think she was refusing to cooperate and hopefully they let her be with whoever the designated child minder was that day.

I just really have no need to see people kissing.  I'm sure they have some reason for these pictures, but I don't think they realize how they come off.  It's sort of braggy - look how we stay hot for each other!  Instead of looking that way, they look strangely passionless.  Jessa and Ben appear only slightly warmer than Jill and Derick who resemble Ken and Barbie with their faces pushed together.  It's childish, but in some ways they don't really grow up, they merely perform the parts given them. 

Also, this pictures are not at all good for professional pictures.  It looked like Ivy was having a bad day and that's maybe why she wasn't featured.

Wow, that is....not a good picture. Bin's face is an afterthought and Jessa looks like she's about to throw up or burst into tears. It seems like they used another "professional" photographer, i.e., a sweet friend who has a camera and thinks that makes her a pro. 

Has Jessa always had such a major underbite and I just never noticed? I know she's always had a strong chin and it gets more noticeable when she loses weight, but I never noticed the underbite until now.

I think Jessa's always had a bit of an underbite, but it looks like she clenched her jaw as Bin leaned in to kiss her, making it more pronounced than it actually is. If this was her attempt to prove she and Bin are hot and heavy, it failed miserably.

My husband and I have been together for 27 years. There is exactly one picture of us kissing in all that time, and it was taken at our wedding 18 years ago. These people are just weird, but I guess it comes with being in a fertility cult.
