Madding crowd July 20, 2016 Share July 20, 2016 I'm finding this show kind of boring. i like the Bachelor/Bachelorette much better. On those shows we find out things about the contestants like their jobs, families, how they get along with other contestants. We get to see the contestants go on dates and do all kinds of different things from sky diving to stand up comedy. We get to see hometown dates and travel porn. This show is like Bachelor in Paradise a bit where we see a lot of people sitting on the beach and drinking. I really don't know one person from the next here. I mean I can recognize their faces but couldn't say anything about them. Alex seems to be featured way more than anyone else. I find her kind of repulsive and was very surprised to find out anyone wants to get to know her better. At this point, all of the couples look really bored and are probably dying to get out of he Villas. 6 Link to comment

Jeff was probably told to pick Alex to keep her on the show. I don't even remember him talking to her earlier. Obviously she makes a good first impression. The minute the guys have to deal with her they run screaming. The other women are all expected to sit around hearing about her feelings and encouraging her. She is exhausting. Sure she wants to be there with Jeffrey. Suuuuurrrre. Is he a conservative though? I mean, that's her deal breaker so why not ask him before wasting any more time? So stupid. She's there to stir up trouble. Probably with Tyler/Alicia but maybe with BT as well. Too bad they couldn't have just ended the show on a good note with the couples that are left. I'm not sure I buy every word, but when I checked on wikipedia I found it very interesting that the had said YES to these five men: BT (who didn't take her to the villas and she was devastated), Ben (whom she blew up on in the villas), Jeffrey (who did not choose her), Javier (who chose neither her nor alyssa), and Tyler (who took her to the villas and then chose Alicia). I know last week I felt a little bad for Alex. I don't like anyone's heart being stomped on but my temporary insanity is long over. She is so annoying. All she wanted was to be at the Villas and she didn't care how she got there. The times she was picked she would always say something immediately about going to the Villas. Sorry, but she had NO interest or chemistry with Jeff at all. She's just staying to get airtime. I can totally relate to alicia's sinking feeling. I think Alex was blatantly lying that she doesn't like Tyler anymore. She's there to stir up more drama. ugh. Oh, and I don't think Jeff is all that. He was being rude and condescending to Kristin. He was clearly in break-up mode and wasn't even listening to her. 2 episodes left! I hope we get some sort of reunion show or a 'where are they now" followup. I really like this cast. I also read her blog, and I think it was unfair of her to admit that yes, she wanted Alicia to back off because she didn't believe that Alicia would date Tyler in real life. At the end of the day, Alicia walked right for him, wanted to go to the villa with him, and clearly, was ready to get to know him. Just because she wasn't jumping all over him doesn't mean that she wanted him any less than Alex. 4 Link to comment

I hated her when she confronted Alicia, basically telling her that when you choose a guy, you should be thinking of happy-ever-after and babies. REALLY? How about starting with "he seems nice, I'd like to get to know him." You don't fall in love FIRST, then date. Reading her blog, I hater her more. I think Jeff wanted to extend his vacation, and was given the chance to do so on the condition that he said he wanted to partner up with Alex. Alex is the kind of high-energy girl who seems like she would be fun. And then, after 5 minutes with her, you realize that the "energizer bunny" from the commercial was selling the idea that "it keeps going and going and going", and DOES NOT STOP OR SLOW DOWN - EVER! 2 Link to comment

Wandering Snark July 23, 2016 Share July 23, 2016 (edited) Not only was it direct producer intervention to break/change the rules to keep the Drama Queen in the Villas but how about him suddenly having flowers and chocolates produced just off-screen like he'd had time to go to town (like none of them have had if they don't go together) and pick them up just for the occasion. It really left me with just a giant eyeroll like they wanted us to think that he'd spent all his time just dreaming of Alex and at the very last second his dreams came true. Look how in love with her he is with the candy and flowers!! Makes me want to wretch. The show was going along well until this last eppy. Ugh. It happens a lot on reality tv shows, funnily enough, where it´s plain to see through the lies. And wow, Dominique just jumped on it, didn´t even ask if it was true or not. She shouldn´t have gotten involved at all but just asking what Alex´s story was about should have been her first move. I can´t stand Alex, but I thought she was great until she had her first meltdown, so I understand where her good first impressions come into play. Alicia has annoyed me from the start and I guess Alex has enough sense to get offended by Alicia´s big sister talk, but still, comparing the two just makes Alicia seem so much nicer than Alex in every way. 3 Link to comment
