I came across that article as well, and really thought it explained a lot about what this season was about, and the choices they made.  I also really liked the Prestige TV podcast on Ringer; the guys on it are hilarious, for me (as a white person), it helped me understand a lot.

Wow so they're going to start season 4 less than 6 months after season 3 premiered?

Did they shoot the episodes together or maybe season 3 was a throw away.

I believe they shot back to back. It makes me think we'll have more episodes without most of the cast.

I skipped season 3 because it was too weird.  I'm glad they're back in Atlanta, so I'm looking forward to this season.

The cast probably has movie projects lined up so they may want to fulfill this Atlanta obligation as soon as possible.

Including Glover.
