Apparently not....

It would have been a better end if they just cut out the last scene with the girl killing herself. The story was kind of wrapped up already, with the mother confessing.

Wow, I liked Julia and Max the DA together so much, never felt anything for her and Jake as a couple, and then Jake goes and tries to actually rescue Julia, putting himself in danger, and...how can the DA compete with that?? Julia and Jake forever! (It was probably the way he kissed her hand on the plane that said "OTP" to me). 

Well, so long Notorious...it was good while it lasted. Hope Piper finds another project soon!

I finally watched the last episode.  Agreed that last scene was unnecessary. It seemed tacked on and didn't make any sense because it ended so abruptly.  Too bad they didn't get their full 13 episodes.  I think, too, they couldn't decide whether Julia would end up with the DA or with Jake.  I never felt any romance between Julia and Jake but I think they were pushing it in that direction.  

tessaforever, sorry to ask, but what does OTP mean?

No problem whatsoever! It means "One true pairing", as in the best most awesome couple you can think of in a fandom :)

They ended the show like that? That's so sad fucked up and not necessary!! They really had the daughter kill herself!?

Did the show know what it would never get a 2nd season when it was written?  Plenty more f shows write cliff hangers hoping they will.   The ending was pure cliff hanger ending.  Unfortunately there will never be another seasons

Yeah I know some shows do that but they shouldnt especially a grim one like that! I don't get what it solves there's no mystery like someone said it should just ended with her mom in jail.
