GHScorpiosRule May 13, 2016 Share May 13, 2016 Quote Documenary Filmmaker Michael Moore, Fla. Sen. Bob Graham, Political Commentator Jack Hunter, News Anchor Katty Kay, and Journalist Jeremy Scahill I was hoping Moore would be on the panel, since the last time he was supposed to appear, he had to cancel because he was really sick. Well, I like at least three of the people who will be on tonight. Maybe it might be a good show. If they can tone down on the fucking Drumpf talk. 1 Link to comment
candall May 14, 2016 Share May 14, 2016 (edited) Wow, that was quite the check Michael Moore wrote. He seemed barely capable of taking care of himself, let alone taking on the dethroning of Trump. He powered back to his old self, though, with the rage about Flint. I hold you in high esteem, MM. Get well soon. Edited May 14, 2016 by candall 3 Link to comment
represent May 15, 2016 Share May 15, 2016 (edited) Michael Moore was spot on with Obama "drinking" that water in Flint. I was WTF? Has he lost his mind? Going there and getting up and preaching some sermon, which those folks can no doubt get during Sunday morning church services. I was done, I really could not believe he wasted a trip there to say nothing and pretend drink that poison. For the first time, he truly annoyed the shit out of me with that stunt. It was like, haven't these people's intelligence been insulted enough? Bill Maher annoyed me because he interrupted Jeremy Scahill. He was about to say what he thought the Bengazi committee should have been asking Hillary and Bill cut him off. He said John Brennan and then got cut off by Bill. I'm still voting for Hillary, but he was interesting. Unlike the typical, insane Hillary hater, I actually bought that he was trying to have a critical discussion about her with facts not made up conspiracy theories. Totally rude!! Why are they there if he's not going to hear them out if they're not saying what he wants to hear???!!! 3 Link to comment
Medicine Crow May 15, 2016 Share May 15, 2016 Speaking of well-known Muslims, the Mayor of Calgary was voted "most popular". Just sayin'. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naheed_Nenshi 2 Link to comment
alias1 May 15, 2016 Share May 15, 2016 I really wanted to hear what Jeremy Scahill had to say. He's not a mindless Hillary hater. It sounded like he was going to make some interesting points about several things (including why there isn't a lot of daylight between all three candidates still running) and Bill just cut him off. Where's the free speech, Bill? But he lets the Republican blowhards get away with their standard talking points. And they never even talked about his book, which I was also interested in. 2 Link to comment

Ditto (except for the book)!! 1 Link to comment
Victor the Crab May 15, 2016 Share May 15, 2016 I have to laugh at the idea of Michael Moore and Bill getting together to defeat Drumph. Moore supported Ralph Nader's 2000 presidential bid (and yes I know he did a 180 at the last minute, but the damage had been done) and Bill embarrassed himself a couple of years ago by telling voters in Minnesota's First District not to re-elect Republican incumbent Jon Kline, who then easily re-elected him. With allies like these... Maybe what Bill should do, now that Republicans are starting to come together with Drumph as their nominee, is to convince Bernie Sanders, who'll be one of his guests next week, to drop his going nowheres bid for the Democratic nominee and not take it all the way to Philadelphia. Otherwise, the narrative from the "liberal" media will be that the Democrats are in disarray while the GOP are united behind Drumph. 1 Link to comment

He's a rare, actual journalist, and he's asking questions that the real media should be asking during the entire primary season. I wish Moore was on the panel, but I guess he's still not up to it? That seemed to be what he was saying. 1 hour ago, Victor the Crab said: Otherwise, the narrative from the "liberal" media will be that the Democrats are in disarray while the GOP are united behind Drumph. That's exactly what's going to happen, given how we all know the Democrats are utter fail when it comes to the national political narrative. It's happening now. Cue any gop politician: "Yeah, you're right, Trump is a questionable character for sure and I don't really like him," *pivot* "No way Clinton should be elected though, she's the worst person in the world benghazi emails death squad rapist enabler. I'm voting for Trump." 3 Link to comment

After the hooliganism of the Clintonistas in Nevada this weekend and their theft of two of Bernie's delegates, Bernie needs to double down and say out loud to Bill and the rest of the country that he, Bernie, will not let the Clinton Machine do to him what the Bush Crime Family -- AKA Bush Family Evil Empire abbreviated BFEE -- did to Gore in 2000. No more stolen elections, damn it!!! HalcyonDays May 16, 2016 Share May 16, 2016 Hey Everyone - Just a quick reminder to discuss the show, not general politics. I know references will be made here and there, but it becomes too easy to veer off into general political discussions and political party comparisons. Much Thanks. Link to comment
b2H May 18, 2016 Share May 18, 2016 The only argument I had with the entire program was Bill's rebuttal to whether Donald Trump could be considered an outsider. His argument was that Bill had been telling jokes about Trump since he was in his 20s. That may be true, but Donald wasn't a politician for the last 40 years. That makes the Donald an outsider with respect to and only with respect to this Presidential campaign. And I can't wait to see the results of the anti-Trump collaboration between Michael Moore and Bill. This oughta be good. Link to comment
