millennium April 23, 2016 Share April 23, 2016 I'm only defending Sam to the extent that it's not incumbent on HIM to raise his hand and announce his talents were surpassed by competitors eliminated about ten episodes back. Should he be less cocky and knock off the winky-waves? Sure, but "be less annoying" is not his job either. It's not merely that he's being annoying. He is purposely trying to curry favor with one judge in a deliberate attempt to compensate for his lack of skills and get an advantage over the other designers. For that he deserves every bit of blame he's received. Scam's antics may be hailed as great game-play on Survivor, but in this competition the criteria for winning is the quality of your design. His attempt to circumvent the process and get by on flirty waves is apparently intolerable for much of the viewership. If it's upsetting us, who can blame Ken, who is in the competition and has an actual stake in this? Ken's future depends on this, and he's watching it be threatened by the improper behavior of a fellow contestant and a lecherous middle-aged man. 8 Link to comment
