Chelsea and Cole on vacation were cute, but boring. (This whole ep felt kind of boring, actually.) But my heart just broke for Aubrey when she said her dad didn't play with her. I know a lot of people think Chelsea asks her inappropriate questions and feeds ideas to Aubrey, but the fact of the matter is - We've SEEN Cole taking time to play with Aubrey and we've seen Adumb sit on the phone while she calls for him to watch her. Sure, editing. But given their personalities, I don't think they'd have to edit much to get this representation.

On the aftershow, Adumb was claiming they (the dads) get a bad edit, because the show is about the moms. I totally disagree. Leah has gotten a very honest edit lately, that portrays just what a shitty mom she is, and showcases how very involved her baby daddies are - especially Cory. Jenelle also doesn't get painted with sunshine and roses. Jo and Kail both get shown to have their moments. They can't show what you don't give them, Adumb. And somehow I doubt there is a bunch of footage of him doing crafts and reading stories on the cutting room floor. This is the dude that took off on Father's Day weekend to Colorado. So.....yea, keep breaking your daughter's heart, asshole.

Jo and Kail's scenes were mostly boring as well. But it's interesting that we see Jo, once again, being nice and accommodating of Kail's desire to change the schedule. He knows how much Isaac loves Javi. It was nice to hear that Jo is actually concerned about how his son does with these deployments.

My only other comment is - my son has a dino fossil kit like the one Javi and Isaac were playing with and - FUCK THOSE THINGS. They're so cool for the kids, but damn...what a mess. LOL

Leah's scenes with Germy were downright cringeworthy. She got all coy - "What do you want to talk about?" And come to find out, basically - nothing. I think production must have asked for that dinner, because Germy clearly had no agenda. If I wasn't so disgusted with Leah, I might have felt sad for her when her ex basically told her that splitting up was the right thing to do, and she's sitting there in tears. Again. But she brings this on herself, and my only concern right now is those girls.

And I really can't deal with her saying that Germy is more into Ali than Cory is. Based on WHAT??? He fought for freaking full time custody of his girls! But because Germy brings Addy to see her sister's recital, that makes him a better dad than Cory? What the fuck? She is such a revisionist. "Germy and I just co-parent better". Yea, right now. You and Cory used to co-parent very well in the beginning. Until he got fed up with his daughters missing appointments and being late to school, because you were stoned out of your mind. Give Germy time. He seemed pretty fed up on the after show.

Jenelle's life is such a mess. Why is Jace falling asleep at school??? What was Kaiser drinking out of that cup that made him act like baby-on-crack? If she cares so much about all the stuff going on in her life, why is she running off to NYC and leaving her baby with some chick she barely knows?

How long until she and David start fighting? Barb is totally right - she misses the drama. She craves it.

That David is a real moron. He might be dumber than Nathan. I thought the Eiffel Tower thing might have been a slip, but then watching him on the after show. Wow. The host asked him what was on his bucket list and he said something about "beer" and a "cooler". I think he was totally confused about what a bucket list is. Most of his answers were very one-note and confused. He's all jaw and no brain.

Jenelles response to "how are things going with (whatever current boyfriend) is always so hilarious. We've seen her respond the same way with pretty much every boyfriend: "things are great! We hardly even fight/we don't fight!" That is just the weirdest response to me. I would never think to list "we don't fight" as the number one thing when someone asks me how it's going with a man. But that's a perfectly normal response for her and it's the same response every time. She is so insane.

And Javi is wearing a t shirt and sweatpants inside his own home. I hope Kail shamed him for it.

And then there was the little bonus scene of David dropping truth bombs on us by exalting the greatness of horse drawn carriages and admonishing animal rights activists at the same time because, "that's wut dis kuntry wuz bee-illt own." Yes, David. Also, Lahf is liike uh box a Chock Litts. And Jenelle right by him nodding, "Yuup, that's why they call it 'horse power.'" Damn, I watched more intellectually stimulating dialogue in Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey. At this point, I think the editors are having fun with how ridiculously dumb David is. And I wouldn't doubt Jenelle paid for all these people to go on this trip too. While a virtual stranger watches her baby, several hours and several states away from her.

Where has Mama Dawn been this season? Have we seen her and I just blocked it from my mind? Did I miss some news about her not filming?

There were brief shots of her at the birthday party and at Ali's choir practice a couple episodes ago. I'm surprised she hasn't joined in on the Corey bashing. Maybe she pissed off MTV.

Does Leah's sister just sit around all day too?

I wish Javi would cool it with the "man of the house" stuff. Just let Isaac be a kid and stop putting undue pressure on him during an already stressful time.

Plus, Karl is quite capable of being the man of the house.

Leah was embarrassing. Her sister looked like she'd rather be anywhere else in their scene. I shudder to think how bad things must have really been if Leah considers herself more organized now.

Hey now, it only took her 2 minutes to find Ali's tie in the pile of laundry that ate 5 cats. Cut her some slack! Last year it might have taken her an hour to find that tie. And then she would have been 2 hours late for choir, instead of just 30 minutes.

When Dave said his porn star name would be uncle Dave was I the only one thinking "would?"... Probably more like "is"

Ewww, that really creeped me out. I think the host felt a little taken aback as well. Couple that with the diaper shot he posted of Kaiser - get him away from Jenelle's kids! ALL kids!

I'm sure I'll have more thoughts later but just finished the episode and thought that "goodbye" dinner with Javi was so depressing!  Last dinner together as a family for 6 months as they haul styrofoam boxes out of plastic bags. Then apparently Lincoln "isn't here" because he was sick - so where the hell was he?  In the hospital?  Did they just shut him in another room somewhere?

It seems like there were a couple shots of him laying in a bed, with a blanket over his head. I agree about the dinner. When my husband went overseas (civilian contractor), I made him a big send off dinner. And when he came home, I couldn't wait to cook him his favorite meals. With all the time Kail clearly spends on Pinterest, she couldn't come up with a nice salad in a mason jar dinner or something?

So Jo doesn't like the "military lifestyle"? He says it so dfisparingly like its akin to a criminal lifestyle or something similar. I think Javi is an asshole, but there is nothing we g with being in the military. It's not a negative lifestyle. Listen asswipe the fact that there is military who is out there protecting your ass around the world is something you should be grateful for. It allows you to sit at home on your lazy unmotivated ass. I hope he catches a lot of shit over that comment. He was out of line.

I don't see any reason for Jo to catch shit over what he said. I don't think it was a comment against Javi, or troops in general. I felt like he was saying that he doesn't like seeing the effect the military lifestyle has on kids. I just think he was being a dad, feeling sad for his kid who has to have someone he love go away for months at a time. I think one can still be respectful of the troops, while recognizing that it can be a hard lifestyle to deal with.

4. What was the first car you ever owned? "A Mazda? I don't know." (Really? How old are you and how many cars have you owned that you can't remember your first car?)

Ha! No matter how many cars you've owned, you should still remember your first. It's kind of a big deal. I've owned probably 7 cars and I remember every one of them, but especially my 1994 Olds Achieva that I saved up and paid for all on my own. He's weird.

She's such a bitch. During the convo with her sister, I wanted to slap her when she was like, I respect Germy because he hasn't done what Corey did. So, once again, nothing to do with how her exes have treated their respective daughters, and everything to do with how their actions affected LEAH.

Leah seems extremely worried about appearances (I mean, how she appears as a mother, not her literal appearance) and the fact that Corey filed for full custody means (to her) that he's telling the world she's a shitty mother out of spite, not concern. I cannot think of anyone else either on TV or in my personal life that has reached the level of self absorption Leah has. She truly believes that everything Corey does is about her, not himself or his kids. And the only consequences she ever worries about are the ones that directly affect HER.

I do wonder though, based on her behavior at dinner, if Germy hasn't had his own post divorce roll in the back of a pick up truck with Leah. Really wouldn't surprise me and it might explain how Leah thought she had a shot in hell of reconciliation.

Was Addy trying to make a break for it at her sisters' party? You go on with your bad little self!!

That was hilarious. She sashayed out of there like she was a grown woman with a pair of car keys and somewhere to go.

I've noticed that when David Gump brings up the subject of Jenelle getting custody of Jace, she either ignores him or changes the subject all together. She's never wanted that little boy. At least now, she's no longer pretending.

Jenelle saying that she didn't want to use Kai as a pawn was laughable. She uses Jace as a pawn all the time. And she already is using Kai as a pawn, because she won't let Nathan see him until they drop the charges. You're not fooling anyone, Jenelle. Dave can't see his son, because he choked his baby mama. What a great influence for her sons.

Leah wants Jeremy back so badly. What did she learn in rehab? Doesn't seem like much. She has a drug issue. She also thought Corey was more level headed than Germy? I don't think either is a prize.

Chelsea: Adam is always a dumbass. Aubree is just starting to realize it, and that's sad.

Kail: The moments with Isaac and Javi were cute.

It's not like they're anything special. Corey is a cheater, but I think he has more potential to be a good husband and dad. Jeremy I personally think is pretty much a jerk. Good work ethic, but interpersonally, nah. Unfortunately, Leah is too. I don't think she has to be a jerk, but that will take a lot of effort on her part that I'm not sure she's willing to put in.

Agreed. The sad thing (aside from everything) is that he probably is getting a good edit. I bet they don't show Aubree having tea parties with daddy's special bodybuilding vitamins in place of scones. Would ANYONE be surprised?

I don't know that I'd call Corey "a cheater". He cheated, allegedly, once. And this was an accusation made my Leah. Corey did look uncomfortable and guilty, so something probably did happen. But who knows what exactly it was. At any rate, I hate cheating, but he wouldn't be the first guy to do it, and some guys only do it once, realize their mistakes, and go on to be good husbands. Leah is a serial cheater who always wants a Plan B in her back pocket. Corey made a mistake, but Miranda seems to have forgiven him, and overall he seems like a pretty decent and devoted family man.

The convo at the birthday party with another "Leah's friend" was cringeworthy. No, Leah. Getting your kids to their birthday party on time does not make you mother of the year. When she told her friend she was so late to their party last year, I wanted to smack her. Again. I can imagine the twins being all excited to get to their birthday party and having to deal with that mess making them late.

They probably had Javi's mom keeping an eye on Lincoln.

Yes, that's exactly how I interpreted Jo's statement of hating the military lifestyle.  I didn't see it at all as bashing anyone, but just the pain of watching someone you love leave often.

The host of the after show was funny.  I had a feeling that if they would just ask the right questions Jeremy would give us great answers.  He seems like he wants to tell all so bad.  He and Cory sharing laughs and looks was great stuff.

I think it was pretty much admitted on one of the reunion shows that he cheated. That was when Leah told Dr. Dipshit she had apologized to Miranda. Corey and Miranda were sitting right there and did not dispute it. I think it's true.

That said, I agree with you completely that a mistake doesn't define you as a person. Corey has in every other instance been a very stand up guy to Leah and his daughters. He financially supported her after she cheated on him and then broke things off with him, so his baby daughters would have a place to live. After their divorce, when Leah was telling everyone it was all his fault and it was purely the editing that suggested their marriage imploded because she cheated again, Corey stayed silent. Corey has been pleasant to her at drop offs. Corey has been mostly silent on social media. Corey is shown playing with his daughters, coming to doctor appts, appropriately disciplining them, having them on a set schedule, etc. Corey has continued to work throughout his time on the show. Corey has a strong relationship with his family and his family have also by the whole been very supportive of Leah even after she completely dicked over Corey.

Of course Leah feels Jeremy is the better co-parent. He doesn't call her out on her drug addiction, hasn't filed for custody of Addie and he cuts her a nice fat check every month. Leah knows what side her bread is buttered on. Cory doesn't put up with her bullshit, so he's the bad guy who isn't willing to compromise.

And, just HAS to ruin the entire evening because it was drama free. She was probably expecting Uncle Dave to propose and when it didn't happen, she had to make it all about her and her bogus anxiety over Nathan wanting to see Kaiser for Christmas.

The book they show at the beginning and end of each segment as well as at the end of the episode, still shows a baby bottle and cheerleader pom pom graphic. It's about time MTV step up their game and change the graphics. They need to put a couple of prescription bottles and show a pile of pillses to accurately describe Leah while showing jail bars and a gavel for Jenelle. For Chelsea they can have a graphic of make-up products while a couple of hyperdermic needles can be shown for Adumb. A pair of giant lips a la Rolling Stones for Javi while Kail's graphic would be the Hulk.

I couldn't believe how dressed up they got to go there, too!

haha I can't believe I didn't put the two together. That's perfect!  I must've just started noticing it, but now it's one of those things I won't be able to stop hearing. I agree, mostly harmless, but it's irritating. Although I do think it's harmful in a small way, in that she is allowed to dictate others' feelings because that's how SHE feels. But, not that big of a deal compared to so many other things.

It seems like it's Leah's way of trying to use "I" statements, but completely missing the point.  Instead of actually saying how *she* feels, it becomes a preface to whatever comment she wants to make about the other person.

The episode overall was boring but I laughed when I saw the preview and Nathan says "you live with a felon, I don't." I really hope he gets Kaiser away from Janelle and creepy uncle David. Gosh that guy is an idiot.

Leah's family seems completely over her. First it was cousin Chasity a few episodes ago, now her sister.

Chelsea needs to stop with the Adam bashing, it'll only hurt Aubree in the long run. My mom, no matter how much she hated my dad, never spoke bad about him and never tried to make our stepfather some kind of hero. She let me and my brother figure out on our own what kind of man our father is. Aubree will see the truth on her own once she gets older and then she can make her own desicion if she wants a relationship with Adam.

I don't see why John should catch shot over his comment. He didn't put down the military or say that it was a bad lifestyle, all I saw was a concerned dad worrying because he knew his son was going to experience a sense of loss at having his stepfather gone for an extended period of time. As a military wife, I don't see that John is wrong. It is a very hard lifestyle and our kids do go through a lot. They have to say goodbye to parents for months at a time and the constant moving also affects them. It's part of the package, and sadly Isaac is going through it because Karl needed those benefits.

I don't think being a guy has anything to do with it, but he definitely did it. At the reunion she said "things happened between us when they were first married that were disrespectful to Miranda," and he agreed and said they had had to move past it. She indicated it happened for a few months, not once. He not only looked uncomfortable but contributed to the story by talking about Miranda forgiving him. If anything at all about it was untrue, he'd have said something. In my mind, the act of cheating makes someone a cheater.

No matter how you cut it, that's disgusting and horrific behavior, and gender doesn't excuse anything. I'm a Miranda fan so I felt extremely hurt for her, especially since she was a newlywed and it was with Leah, who she has to keep seeing. It definitely seems he's matured and they've moved on, but I'm sure it still hurts her. That's not easy to get over. Plus, hearing him complain about Leah while knowing he found her enticing enough to cheat with when you were first married must be gutting. Doesn't make him a bad dad or person and people do bad things all the time while still being good people. But, inarguably disgusting choices. Leah was no more at fault than he was.

Having my husband cheat on me more than once in our first few months of marriage with his bitchy ex and then having to be the stepmom to their twin young children and be on his side in custody battles against the person he cheated with? Yikes. I wouldn't have wanted to be in Miranda's position. She doesn't get enough credit. It's not Corey that's some great, selfless person. It's her. Corey acted a lot trashier and less upstanding with Leah; with Miranda, he's more of a stand up guy. I think that's at least partly her doing. He'd better hold onto her, she's a good one.

And, I read that Germy is working closer to home now and isn't putting in such long hours. I think he's spending more time with Addie than he has in the past. Hopefully, he'll be able to be involved when she starts school or goes to daycare. But, Leah doesn't do anything, so I can't figure out a scenario where Addie would go to daycare.

I don't think this is entirely fair. While I agree with you that Corey likely did cheat, and probably more than once, and that it was a terrible thing to do with Miranda, how was he acting trashier when he was actually with Leah? He pretty much just worked and kept his head down. I mean, the only really "trashy" thing he's done is cheat on his girlfriend/wife (my feeling is he boned Leah both while he was dating Miranda and after he married her), and that was when he was with Miranda, not Leah. Really, he actually treated Leah much better than Miranda. And I don't think Corey has ever been disrespectful to Leah. He's never called her any names or been cruel to her. All he's done is tried to protect his daughters, who Leah regularly endangers or neglects.

While I agree, Miranda didn't HAVE to do any of this. She didn't have to marry Corey or be a stepmother and I'm not sure I understand why she did.

Your mom is a smart woman. My brother was a horrible father to my niece. He loved her to pieces but he was an alcoholic and disappointed her all the time. Her mother constantly told my niece what a piece of shit her father was and went through a series of boyfriends and husbands my niece was supposed to call 'dad'. It really fucked my niece up and it took her years to become a healthy, productive adult. Aubree is a smart little girl. She'll figure out what kind of man her dad is on her own.

If all Chelsea can complain about is that Adam isn't playing board games with Aubry like her boyfriend does, then she needs to be quiet. That's ridiculous. She is constantly fishing for Aubrey to tell her something awful and globs on to the smallest things. The facts are that he is currently trying, doing well, and she should be happy about that.

Yeah, I was actually shocked everyone was all up in arms because Adam doesn't play dolls with Aubree. Neither of my parents really played with me and I don't remember feeling like I was a neglected, abandoned child because of it. Not to mention, Aubree strikes me as one of those high maintenance kids who wants someone paying attention to her 24/7, so she might be exaggerating a bit. I also think a lot of Cole's attentiveness has to do with wanting to please Chelsea. I'm sure he's genuinely fond of Aubree, but most guys don't really enjoy playing with children all day. It'll wane once the honeymoon phase is over.

Plus, Karl is quite capable of being the man of the house.

Hey now, it only took her 2 minutes to find Ali's tie in the pile of laundry that ate 5 cats. Cut her some slack! Last year it might have taken her an hour to find that tie. And then she would have been 2 hours late for choir, instead of just 30 minutes.

Ewww, that really creeped me out. I think the host felt a little taken aback as well. Couple that with the diaper shot he posted of Kaiser - get him away from Jenelle's kids! ALL kids!

I don't see any reason for Jo to catch shit over what he said. I don't think it was a comment against Javi, or troops in general. I felt like he was saying that he doesn't like seeing the effect the military lifestyle has on kids. I just think he was being a dad, feeling sad for his kid who has to have someone he love go away for months at a time. I think one can still be respectful of the troops, while recognizing that it can be a hard lifestyle to deal with.

Ha! No matter how many cars you've owned, you should still remember your first. It's kind of a big deal. I've owned probably 7 cars and I remember every one of them, but especially my 1994 Olds Achieva that I saved up and paid for all on my own. He's weird.

Oh man! 98 Olds Achieva was my third car ever! I loved that thing! Never knew anyone else who owned one! It was the last automatic I owned before I started buying manuals.

I never said he treated Leah badly at all. I said in general, he acts like a more educated/classier person around Miranda. He seems to be influenced by the people he's around...he did the will they/won't they/cheating thing with Leah, kept trying to go back to her, and in general acted like more of an ass and immature. Not TOWARDS Leah, but around her. With Miranda's influence, he's become more mature, seemingly. He definitely comes across more like a stand-up family man with her. I assume that is partly her doing. He's definitely treated Miranda far more poorly than he treated Leah. And yeah, I think the cheating was an on/off thing for quite a while. There's absolutely no excusing it.

While I agree, Miranda didn't HAVE to do any of this. She didn't have to marry Corey or be a stepmother and I'm not sure I understand why she did.

I agree with that. I personally think Miranda is too good for Corey, but she must see something in him. With regards to the cheating, I assume she didn't know about it until after the marriage. She seems to be a fairly religious, traditional small-town Southern woman. She has made comments about her marriage being sacred to her/extremely important and the fact of being married, also important. I assume that that's part of the reason she stands by her man/hasn't thought of leaving (though we don't know she hasn't) since they are married.

On the Aftershow, the host asked Corey and Jeremy if Leah's behavior has gotten better, and Jeremy said no, not really, and Corey said a little, and they've worked out a co-parenting schedule. Does this mean Leah was able to revise the arrangement that's in place now (on the show), or does Corey still have primary custody? Does anyone know? TIA.

I think what he said came out wrong. I am the daughter of a Sgt.Major and the wife of a Staff Sgt. in the Army. While the military life is truly awesome, it is also very emotional and it messes with children emotionally. I have lived the military life my entire life and I will admit that I love it until I had children and then I really disliked it. For me, it is easy to go months on end without seeing my dad or husband, but it truly emotionally messes with my children. It is harder for them to focus on school, soccer games aren't as fun without Dad and Papa, and nighttime stories aren't the same without Dad in bed. The military lifestyle puts a lot of stress on the children that children should never have to feel and I think that is what Jo was saying. I could be wrong, but that is what I got from it.
