Last week I was going to ask if anyone thought Lincoln might be a little developmentally delayed. The kid garbled the word "no". Now here he is perfectly communicating "puta". I love it. I am also bound for Hell.

I wonder if he only speaks Spanish.  He's probably with Javi's mom all day and if she is speaking Spanish to him...

How nice of Karl and Javi to blame Lincoln's potty mouth on grandpa. At least they have their priorities straight, sweats on Sunday is shameful but a two year old saying curse words is perfectly fine.

Anyway, I don't know why Jenelle would even take Jace for the night if she were planning on going on. She's so damn selfish that she doesn't even see where this is a problem.

Also bitch, sit down with your baby when he eats! It's like she does the bare minimum to keep that kid alive and nothing else.

I know a few kids who have immigrant parents from different countries so they're tri-lingual. English always comes last for them because the parents correctly figure that the kids will learn English by osmosis, living in the US, and then in earnest when they get to school. They speak their parents' native tongues at home. (One parent speaks his native language to the kids & the other speaks hers, so the kids learn both.) If Lincoln spends more time with Javi's mom than Kailyn (no shade) and she's speaking to him in Spanish, it stands to reason that he might be more comfortable speaking Spanish.

Corey is not my type at ALL, but it's always attractive to see a doting father. Brushing hair, recognizing when one of the girls (I don't know their names, sorry) is nervous and encouraging her ... so sweet.

The less said about Jenelle, the better. It's been the same shit since she was 17. The guy & the charge changes, but that's it. Oh, and she's gotten some plastic surgery and extensions.

As a proud South Dakotan, I'm not exactly sure what that's supposed to  mean..

Cole has a degree in Business Administration and played soccer in college.  He works for Dakota Traffic Services and it's highly unlikely that he holds signs

LOL! I am thinking the same thing!

Once upon a time my son's father who is a dumb ass most of the time decided to run into a store for milk and leave his 2 other kids in the car. Well, he ended up getting arrested and a case was opened with child protective services against him. We are in NY and this was almost 10 years ago, you don't leave a kid in the car alone no matter what. I guess it's the norm in west bubblefuck, wv.

Yeah, I live in a very hot area and it seems like we have at least a few child (and dog) deaths per year from this kind of crap. "Oh I was only running in for a minute..." and 30 minutes later they come back to the car. I can also think of numerous cases where cars were left running with the kids in them - so the kids don't overheat, y'all - and the thieves stole the car then realized a kid was in the back.

When the kids are older then okay, fine, let them hang out in the car, but how do you leave a kid who's still in a carseat or barely talking and hope for the best?

I can't believe Leah was JUST getting everyone up 15 minutes before they had to be out the door.

Not only that, she intentionally set the alarm for only 15 minutes of time to get ready. It's not like she accidentally hit snooze twice.

Did Leah drop the girls off in the dark, in a parking lot, to walk to the entrance?  We didn't get a good view of the drop off, but it was still mostly dark and I don't think she got out and walked them to the door.  Maybe someone met them at the car?  Maybe they were actually directly in front of the entrance?  That really stood out to me, but since nobody else mentioned it I'm thinking it wasn't as it appeared to me.  We have a horseshoe shaped drop-off point at my 1st graders school and I don't get out and walk him up because he gets out of the car 5 steps from the entrance, so maybe that's the case here.

It stood out to me too. I probably wouldn't have thought much of it if it wasn't still dark. Given that it was an elementary school the entrance was probably right there.

I guess Leah's not taking time-stamped pictures anymore.

Poor Jace is so full of understandable rage. I hope Barb realizes he takes it out on her because he feels safe with her.

So Addie has the same crib as Kaiser. Does MTV provide them?

Ali is so freaking cute. Love Aubrey's voice. It's like Freaky Friday the larynx edition in that house.

Kali and Leah maintain their status quo of suck.

Janelle just goes along Jenelle'ing.

I just need to say I love you!!

Most of the schools around me are like this too. They don't have enough parking, so they have the kids dropped off at the front and a school employee escorts them inside.

I thought Leah's girls sleeping on the sofa(s) was odd but then considering the state of her car and house I'm wondering if she just doesn't want camera's upstairs?  Maybe the girl's room is trashed?   I don't know but I thought it was weird - even Jace has a bedroom at Jenelle's house.  I thought it was sweet that the twins slept in the same little bed at Corey's even though they each have their own.  Also sweet was Ali waking up saying, "I get to sing today!!"   I'm thinking that was the first day of choir - something she can have for her own since her sister is cheerleading or gymnastics or something that Ali will never be able to do.

My guess is it has more to do with other people living up there that no one's supposed to know about, plus the fact that Ali can't get up there and it's horrible that she would choose a house that her daughter can't get around in when she's got other options. Plus, they're what about 30 seconds closer to the door that way?  No need to set the alarm earlier. Just guesses, though.

I too love that Ali's in choir and has something of her own to do. She seems to really enjoy it.

When Leah was taking the kids to school that one day in this episode, and she had them up only about 15 minutes before they were supposed to leave, I swear I saw her sitting on the floor looking at their school work.  She said something like, you are doing so good!  I was thinking, you wait until the morning before school to look at what they bring home from school the night before?  She is so weird.

With all the drama Corey has gone through with Leah I would not have held it against him if he ignored Addie, instead he showed he is a bigger person than Leah. I wish that Jeremy and Corey could share custody of baby Addie to give her a chance.

That was adorable.  Corey really gets kids and also understands that it isn't Addie's fault that Leah is her mom.  I also think that Corey picked the person out of the whole lot that he would rather communicate with most...Leah...nope...Dawn....nope....Addie...yep, let's play peek a boo.

That interrogation from Barb was cringey. That family is so toxic it actually feels painful to watch instead of funny.

I agree.  I think that conversation was way too adult for Jace.  If she doesn't want to send Jace to see Jenelle anymore than she needs to make that choice, but that conversation was just all kinds of wrong to be doing that.  I could understand Barb being concerned about his behavior coming home from the last visit, but she was putting way too much on his shoulders there.  Not great parents Barb.

A school employee was helping the girls out of the car. Her face was blurred. Same thing happens at the school I work at.

It seems more typical these days.  They don't want the log jam of all the cars stopped to walk their kids in the door....so this keeps things moving.  It did seem weird in the dark.

Wait...did she also just get almost inside the building before remembering she had a child in the back of her car??

I rewound that several times and laughed heartily each time. The way she just turned around and strode back to the car! No gasp, no facepalm, no "omigod!". Just business as usual!

General advice? Please! STOP QUIZZING your kids when they come home from a visit with the noncustodial. You are scaring the kids and painting them into the WORST possible corner. Instead, greet your returning kids with open arms, huge hugs, kisses, I missed you's. NO QUESTIONS. STOP demonizing your kids' other parents. Children INTERNALIZE that shit!!

This makes me cringe every time. Every. Time. These are children. You are a grownup. Your job is to be brave and cheerful and love your kids. Leave them out of your little power plays.

You know your marriage is in trouble when your husband is happy to be deployed to a war zone. Kail: "You'll meet lots of people." Yeah, who want to shoot at him. Miscarriage (that was revealed to be an abortion/erase an affair) next week.

As the peerless Bitter Apple posted, she was talking to Javi as if he was 8 years old and she was sending him to sleepover camp for the first time. And Javi was in his workout gear--shouldn't he have been in a shirt and tie? tut, tut.

Watching druggy Leah emotionally manipulate those girls pissed me off. They both seem scared to say they're happy at their dad's house. I bet she's had crying fits and accused them of loving their daddy more than they love her when they've been happy to go to Corey's house before.

She is horrible.

I don't know where he is being deployed, but  I believe Javi's  job is something like aircraft mechanic. Which means that if he is deployed to the middle east he will be in a staging area or on a  support base, far far far from combat. So almost zero chance of him being shot at. BTW, one of my daughter's friends is a mechanic in the army and he is currently deployed to Germany and spends his off hours sampling beers and seeing the sights.

That said, yes, Kail doesn't seem to be upset at all that he is leaving. I know she gets TM money and all, but deployment pay is sweet. You get a housing allowance, separation pay and if he is going to the middle east, even in an area that there is little danger, as long as it is classified as a combat area that's more money. And the bonus is he's out of her house and away from her. Who could ask for more?

Janelle always wants Jace when she has a new boyfriend.

Seriously. I wonder if Barb tracks this on her calendar like Michelle Duggar used to do with her menstrual cycle. First two weeks of new dick: Jenelle calls all the time wanting Jace. Next two weeks of new dick: Jenelle constantly threatens to sue for custody. Then... nothing.

Regarding Javi's deployment: It's really weird that no one asks where he's going. I know he probably can't say, but there's a big difference between someplace like South Korea and some place like the Middle East.

Did anyone else happen to notice that Chelsea pulled up in a white Mercedes station wagon in one of the scenes?? I was a bit surprised, as she hasn't seemed to go that route so far.

I did notice that and wondered if it was Cole's. He has a truck but, maybe he has that rig, too?

Chelsea states on Twitter it was her friend Chelseys car. If you watch closely you can see the friend is driving. So not Chelsea Houskas car.

Also on Twitter (this is mostly where I findmy info hahaha) people have tweeted they know where Javi is because their husband is on base with him. Hahaha But no one has let where it is slip.

I will say something I noticed that struck me odd when j saw the rerun tonight is when Barb kinda randomly asked Jace if his mommy had a lot of boyfriends... That's the exact same phrase Chelsea used last season when asking Aubree about Adams girlfriends. I hate pulling the producer card because regardless of what a producer asks them to say these are their children and I just don't feel like that is an appropriate question to ask a 6 year old, and so in my opinion they could/ maybe should decline even if it's producer led question... But I can't ignore the same phrase being used. Maybe Barb saw Chelsea ask last season. And wanted to know herself about Jenelle... I don't know, but I just think it's a pretty big coincidence.

Well, I didn't realize there was a bonus episode Sunday night, so I just got around to watching this last night. Being so late to the party, I'm not going to launch into one of my long-winded rants. But there's a few things I want to address:

Leah yelling at Ali about them being late to school was one of the most horrible things I've ever seen her do. I was seriously so disgusted. That poor little girl, don't you put that on her. Don't tell her that she shouldn't worry about being late. Being late can be stressful and embarrassing for little kids. And it's perfectly fine for Ali to address her concerns with her dad. How dare you shame her for that! Look at the differences we saw between Cory and Leah, getting them ready for school. Cory appeared to be up around 5:30, and had plenty of time to not only do their hair, but feed them as well. Leah, on the other hand, is up only 15 minutes before they need to leave! And she appeared to be checking homework before they headed out the door. Why was that not done the night before? SHE is causing unnecessary stress to her daughter and then wants to tell the kid her feelings are unwarranted and YELL at her when her glasses accidentally fall on the floor? Dead. She is dead to me.

Also, why are her kids sleeping on the couch?

Also, what was up with that scene where she is going to Ali's choir practice? It looks like she's heading into the building, stops and realizes something, then goes back and gets Addy from the back seat. Dafuq? You just forget your kid???

Jace acting out really made me sad. He is clearly having a hard time transitioning between homes. Why do none of the adults realize how difficult this is? You just get used to being around one set of people and feeling comfortable, and then you have to go to another place and get used to that. Different personalities, different schedules, different rules. It sucks. I know. Maybe Jace should be in some therapy. His lashing out is only going to get worse.

And while I appreciate Barb being concerned that Jenelle is spending her already short amount of time with Jace going out on dates with David, she shouldn't be addressing how "worried" she is about it with Jace. I hate, period, when the adults on this show are always asking the kids - "Do you like going with ____?" The kids are always going to say the right answer to appease people. It's unfair.

Seeing how upset Isaac was about the prospect of Javi deploying just broke my heart, knowing that their marriage is on the way out. It's really so unfair to the children how these people hop in and out of relationships like it's a loyalty program at the grocery store.

Jace said that word a few times in one episode. Jenelle seemed shocked and began telling him how that word is not to be said. *rolls eyes*

That's always hilarious to me, considering she thought it was appropriate to put on a profanity laced puppet show for Jace with her friends at the children's museum.

Haha, that scene was so cute! If I didn't already love Cory, he totally would have won me over right then and there. I wonder if Addy was scared of talking with him, if Leah was saying bad crap about him at home.

There has to be some time set aside in there for scraping out remnants of old abortions courtesy of the old dick, to make room for a new baby courtesy of the new dick.

Jace saying "You're not supposed to talk while I'm making airplanes. You know that." cracked me up. The "you know that" sounds like something he picked up from Barb. Jace may end up being okay. I know kids who were/are raised by grandparents and they end up ok. They usually talk like grandmas and know every character on the Young & the Restless, but they're ok. When Jace grows up and sees Jenelle for what she is, I think he will really appreciate Barb even more.

Even though I didn't like Barb grilling Jace, I did like that she told him that he was special to her. At least someone in the world loves that little boy.

Re: Barb asking Jace the questions.  I agree that I don't like that he keeps getting asked these things by both Janelle and Barb, but I do feel Barb's are out of actual concern about the environments he keeps getting put in at Janelle's since none of her boyfriends ever work out and are all losers in the end.  Whereas Janelle just does it to try to win some war with Barb over Jace.  She doesn't actually care about him much at all.

There's grandparents...and there's Barb. It's like a roller coaster ride with that woman. Telling Jace he was special was a big win, Jenelle never says shit like that to anyone unless it's some dude. But then she screws it up by doing things like asking him too mature questions or threatening to kick him out if he keeps misbehaving. I think she means well, but has a lot of dysfunction that it's maybe too late to fix. Jace is clearly having trouble with his broken home, and if Barb would just get him into therapy or something I'd cut her a lot more slack.

Stealing this quote from Ghoulina's post above because I can't find the original to tag the poster- I laughed so hard at the bolded. I was not raised by grandparents but spent an entire summer with them once and I did watch Y&R every day. It was in the late 80s and I still remember it was when Crazy Lisa fashioned an actual prison cell in some house to keep Brad Carlton locked away. I also memorized the entire 1989 Dallas Cowboys roster. I miss my grandparents.

LOL at the calendar comment.

As for Dick. Whoops, I mean Javi, he said last year that it was "none of our business" what he does as far as his military is concerned. Remember, this is the dame guy who had cameras follow him to the recruiting office and he talked about his military service. In the last episode, Javi's military photo was blurred out. Did anyone else catch that moment? There have been many other people who are in the military who have been on television and discussed their work in great detail. So, it can't be due to needing to keep his work life secret.

ETA: spell check put "dame" for "same". LOL just going to leave it.
