https://www.youtube....h?v=2tHrUr_ozZs Yep. He French braids an interns hair after posting an image of Anna's hair that he French braided. He even takes the interviewer to task for a) not knowing how to braid hair and b) not knowing that rubber bands damage the hair.

That is all kinds of awesome!

Damn.....I can't pick a favorite Chris.  How about Chris Pratt being my favorite on Mondays and Fridays, Hemsworth on Tuesdays and Saturdays and Evans on Wednesdays and Sundays.  I'll take Thursday off to rest my brain so it doesn't explode :)

In the battle of the Chrises (Chrisi?), which is your favourite?

They all kinda look alike to me. Dark hair, piercing eyes, plus/minus the scruffy beard. All cute, but they all have Hollywood's current "in look." Not saying that's a bad a thing. It's just a thing.

Miles Teller. Huge crush on him.

(Also, I watched "While you were sleeping" recently and Bill Pullman was so charming.)

Ryan Gosling (always), Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Joshua Jackson (but he's more of a TV crush, right? Or does he count as movie crush?).

Oh, Tim Roth!!!!

Hee!

It's funny that I think Evans and Hemsworth are considered crushworthy largely due to their respective Marvel characters, yet I don't find either of them physically appealing in those roles.   I feel like I should salivate over Hemsworth, especially since his body type is right up my alley.  But the scraggly, longish blond hair (whether it's his or a wig) he's had to sport in his most well-known roles to date completely turn me off.

However, bearded Hemsworth with a haircut? Yes, please.  Overall, I think (bearded) Evans is my preferred Chris.  Actually, I think all of the Chrises look better with facial hair.

He reached peak hotness when he did that Cursed movie with Christina Ricci, so I vote he's an acceptable movie crush.

I have a crush in him since I was kid and he was Charlie from The Mighty Ducks.

Speaking about Christina Ricci and crushs when I was a pre-teen: Devon Sawa in Now and Then and Casper.

Chris Evans. Oh man... yeah, I've got such a crush on him I can't even talk about it. Him escorting Betty White up the stairs like a real Captain America, but scruffy, just sealed it. Yes, please.

Little late, but my ranking of the Chrises:

1) Evans

2) Pratt

3) Pine

4) Hemsworth

Although after seeing Into the Woods, where he was hilarious, Pine is threatening to move up to number 2 (none of them can challenge Evans for the top spot though, especially when he's sporting the beard). Hemsworth, while objectively attractive, has never really done it for me for some reason. Maybe because I'm most familiar with him from Thor, where he's huge and super beefy dudes have never really been the type I gravitate towards.

If you ever get the chance to see him in Rush, do.  It might not change your mind about him, but he's definitely not beefy in that.  More lithe and, well, the word 'slinky' comes to mind.  And not in a 'coiled metal child's toy' way.  ;-)

My Chris' Rankings:

Hemsworth

Evans

Pine/Pratt - they are pretty even.

Classic Hollywood: To me Marlon Brando in his prime is one of the most beautiful specimens on earth.

Leslie Nielsen - he was such a hottie back in the day.  He is in the first "Tammy...etc" movie with Debbie Reynold and he is so handsome in that movie.

I may never be able to look at my childhood Slinky the same way again.

Jimmy Stewart- particularly in black and white.

Liam Neeson- the voice gets me every time.

Sasha Roiz- yum.

As for the Chris question, I would say that my number one is Chris Pine.  I just find him to be so charming.  He has the best grin.

Chris Pratt's twitter is hilarious.  And now he and Chris Evans are feuding over the Super Bowl.  :D

This is just adding fuel to the fire of my love. They've pretty much bet each other on the outcome. If the Patriots win, Pratt has to visit Evans' charity dressed as Star Lord wearing a Brady jersey. If the Seahawks win, Evans has to visit Pratt's charity dressed as Captain America waving the 12th man flag.

It's delightful.

I know this might make me sound like I'm crazy...but I kind of have a crush on John Belushi -- particularly him in Continental Divide.  Maybe he wasn't conventionally handsome, but in that movie he was just off-the-charts adorable and witty.  And those big brown eyes...

Don't you judge me!

Rick Moranis.

I know that's kinda out there, but I've just always thought he was so adorable.

Steve Buscemi is another unconventional looking guy that I've crushed on in the past. He was freaking sexy as Rex in Airheads imo. :D

Well, just as I thought--both Chris Evans and Chris Pratt are going to both children's hospitals together.  From Chris Evan's twitter account:

Thank you to @prattprattpratt for being a good sport. I'll be there with you at @chris_haven, and don't worry @seattlechildren, we'll be coming there too!

Awesome.

Great news! If they both showed up in costume, that would be priceless.

As this story proves, Chris Hemsworth's hotness even affects his fellow Avengers:

If a man being so hot that he's even gorgeous while drooling in his sleep isn't sexiness personified, then I don't know what is.

They will be in costume. Evans made a bet with Pratt that if his team won the Superbowl, they'd go to the children's ward of the other's choice and visit the kids there. Now they've decided that they'll go to two hospitals and visit in costume to cheer up the sick children. Awesome. :-D

If I HAD to choose between these two Chrises, I think I'd have to give the edge to Evans due to how LONG I've been a fan of his. But otherwise? Yeah, these two somehow manage to effortlessly combine fucking adorable and hot. They are both kind of dorky, enthusiastic, positive, grounded and humble, cheeky, fun-loving, charitable, and sweet.

Saw Chris Evans' directorial debut at the Toronto International Film Festival and it amazed me how he was so taken aback at the sold out audience; he was so self-effacing and goofy, yet he was clearly proud and excited about his film. Totally charm-bombed everyone. The fucker. :D

Remember towards the end of Titanic, when cowardly, slimy, totally unredeemable Billy Zane grabs some random kid as his ticket onto a lifeboat?  If doing that could get me into Children's the day the Chrises visit then I now totally understand his motivation. :)

Eleven years ago, a younger Stargazer stumbled on a wee little movie called Calendar Girls, which came out on my birthday FYI, and promptly fell ass-over-teakettle into crushdom with Helen Mirren, who was totally unfamiliar at the time. And I still regret nothing.

Oh shit, yes. Helen Mirren is fucking sexy as hell. I have lost count of the number of red carpet pics of her have made my jaw drop . Slamming figure, fabulous fashion sense and a great sense of fun. That she's left her hair silver is just icing on the cake...

I love Ruffalo saying "My God, what a specimen."  lol!  I love a guy who is not afraid to make a comment like that.

Hee! Have you seen the Avengers interview clip with Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson? They are asked who the hottest Avenger is and Chris Evans replies "Hemsworth". Scarlet side eyes him and is all "wow, you answered that REALLY fast" and he just starts to sheepishly laugh and is all, "yeah, I was all *grabs her knee and makes a pained, ecstasy face* 'Oh My God, Chris Hemsworth!!!!'"

I think The Avengers actually has managed to assemble (see what I did there?) a truly impressive mix of hot men: Robert Downey Jr., Jeremy Renner, Tom Hiddleston, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Samuel L. Jackson etc.

No!  I've heard of so many great moments during the Avenger's interviews and usually can't find them.  I'll have to look for this one.

And I had to read the caption on the bottom to see who was sitting with Anthony Mackie.   I've never seen him outside of his role in Captain America.  He's cute.

Two Words: Brad Pitt.

Loved him in Meet Joe Black and in Benjamin Button.

Damn he was hot in those two films. More as well.

Back in the day... Johnny Depp. Edward Scissorhands.

Paul Newman. His eyes. So blue, so piercing. Age be damned.

Viggo Mortensen, in the LOTR movies. Very nice.

I just had to go look up Chris Pratt and Chris Evans, because I didn't recognize either by name.  Pratt looks vaguely familiar, but it doesn't look like I've seen anything in his list of credits, so I must have just caught footage of him here and there.  He's kind of cute, but I don't like facial hair.  As for Evans, I guess copy and paste.

Yes.  Mirren is gorgeous on the outside, but what makes her so appealing is the inner attitude behind it.  I will forever love her for saying:  “Being a sexual object is mortifying and irritating, yet it’s giving you power – an awful power that you’ve done nothing to deserve, a powerless power.  I think some young women fall in love with that power, and it’s really objectifying.  And when it starts falling away, it’s an incredible relief.”

I think a good part of what makes the Chrises Pratt and Evans attractive -- at least to me, especially because I don't know that I could describe very well what Chris Evans looks like - is their personalities, largely in the way that Ms. Mirren is no slouch as far as her looks, but her brains/personality/quotes make her freakin' amazing.

Before the Pratt/Evans Super Bowl bet, a friend of mine had mentioned that Chris Pratt stole/kept his Guardians of the Galaxy costume and planned to visit kids' hospitals with it. Also not a fan of facial hair here, but I liked Pratt for his actions, and his reasons for those actions.  Chris Evans got me when seemingly without any prompting, he helped Betty White to the stage at an awards show.  I like it when being a pretty or marketable face is just one facet of someone's being, not their defining characteristic.  Just my two cents.

Well, since I didn't know who either of them were until this afternoon, I have no idea of their personalities and can thus only evaluate their looks in a thread about crushes.  But I do remember seeing a clip of some guy offering an arm to Betty White as she took the stage, and found it charming, so now that I know it was Chris Evans his name will probably stick in my brain.

It's like when people in this or a similar thread were going on about Tom Hiddleston and I had no idea who he was; I looked him up and several stories popped up indicating him to be a gentleman.  I probably still couldn't pick him out of a lineup, but now when I hear the name, I have a positive association.

but it's a Diane Lane forbidden romance with a young Anna Paqiun.

That sounds very wrong, so I'll assume Diane Lane's forbidden romance was with Viggo Mortensen and not a teenager.  Heh.  But I agree -- Mortensen is quite appealing.

When I was in early grade school in the late 90s (3rd grade in 99), I went through a phase where I basically picked a new crush and would watch every single movie, no matter how terrible, that came out. I was big into teen slasher films at the time (especially Scream, which I still watch pretty regularly) and I was basically obsessed with Neve Campbell and Rose McGowan and watched any movie I could find with them, which took me to some weird places movie-wise. But as far as I was concerned, they didn't make bad movies. Same with Katie Holmes, Julia Stiles, Meagan Good, and Kirsten Dunst, plus Rachel Bilson a little later. And then in high school that turned into Rachel McAdams. I will still see anything she's in. As for other current crushes: Emma Stone, Dianna Agron, Isla Fisher, Anna Kendrick, Maggie Grace

But I wasn't just crushing on ladies. I would also follow Chris Evans, Josh Hartnett, Mekhi Phifer anywhere (I loved O), and I really liked Jesse Bradford from Bring it On and Swimfan. And Shawn Ashmore in X-Men. I also went through a pretty big Shia Labeouf phase in high school, not gonna lie. Nowadays, all the Chris's for sure. Plus JGL.

Alicia Silverstone from Clueless and Batman and Robin (also Chris O'Donnell from the same movie) were pretty big ones for me too.

My first crush ever though was Amy Jo Johnson in Power Rangers. And as for more old school crushes, I'm into Jane Fonda and Robert Redford. Love Barefoot in the Park.

Yikes, I have a lot. Okay, I'll stop.

Oh, I agree with you in many ways.  I know who Chris Pratt is partly because I like his wife, Anna Faris, and largely because I fear his overexposure; by the time I learn who many celebrities are, it's because there's been a media glut.  In Pratt's case, I think it was The Guardians of the Galaxy, which was a huge hit this summer, and on the press junket for which Pratt french braided a girl's hair, the video of which got a lot of play and many swoons (including a small one from me). Looks-wise, Chris Hemsworth doesn't do it for me because he's too darn pretty.  To each his own.

Usually I don't crush on someone until they do something kind, say something hilarious, verbally skewer an idiot, or whatever.  (Or, in the case of Claude Rains, have a voice like rich, hot chocolate or a really nice, well-aged whiskey, or whatever one's poison may be.)

And now to break my own rule......Craphole Island, I love Isla Fisher, too.  She's so darn cute!  And talented to go from comedy (The Wedding Crashers) to really dark bad girl (The Lookout) to an almost character role (The Great Gatsby).   I know she starred in Confessions of a Shopaholic, but I seem to notice her more in her supporting roles.

I'm girl crushing on Anna Gunn, who plays Schuyler on Breaking Bad, these days.  We're two episodes away from the season 4 finale and her acting keeps getting better and better.  I love what wardrobe is putting her in, her new hairstyle compliments her so well and her eyes are the prettiest color.  She's not what would be considered a stereotypical Hollywood beauty, but I think she's beautiful in her own way.  Too bad I'm not crazy about her character  :)

Back on the Chris Evans/Chris Pratt front, here they are with Jimmy Fallon (whom I find kind of cute, too, in a boy next door way) photo bombing a bunch of Superbowl fan photographs.  I just wish we got to see more reaction shots:

Watch Chris Pratt, Chris Evans, And Jimmy Fallon Hilariously Photobomb People At The Super Bowl Runs 2:40

I'll admit that I can be shallow enough to crush on someone based on looks, but yeah, sometimes this does the trick.  It's what pushed me over the edge with Tom Hiddleston.

Looks-wise, Chris Hemsworth doesn't do it for me because he's too darn pretty.

Funny how different things affect us.  I find Hemsworth to be incredibly manly, but it was Chris Evans, as Captain America, whom I found too be too pretty.  Once I started seeing picture of him with the short beard, then he wasn't so pretty anymore and I was swooning.
