I am surprised that two Morning Joe regular guests, Adrienne Elrod & Karine Jeanne Pierre who are working on the Biden campaign don't appear on Morning Joe anymore. Hopefully they will listen to Mika & agree to appear for free once Mika's seminars start up again.

Trump returned to the White House. Joe criticized the president for walking out on the portico without a mask.  Willie criticized him for telling people not to be afraid of Covid. 

Joe wants you to know that Covid could be a death sentence.  Joe has friends who never were able to say goodbye to their mother or father.

Joe said the president lied and said Covid was not coming back in the fall.

MIka yelled that she has a family friend who was at the WH for the Barrett announcement.  Mika said that she will blame Trump if her friend gets Covid and dies.  Mika, is stop yelling.

Joe said the president has roid rage.  Joe doesn't know that the steroids that the president is on are not the same ones that baseball players use.  

Mika is wearing a new foundation that is lighter.  She keeps looking at her face in the monitor.

I hope Joe devotes a chapter in his upcoming book on President Truman to the Truman balcony.

I am amused at how critical Mika & Joe are for Trump doing a photo op of him coming back to the White House.

Mika & Joe used to pose for "glamor shots" together in taxis, bars, convertibles, Nantucket etc while they were married to other people.

The glamour shots had nothing to do with hosting a cable news show about politics.

Joe is wearing the same navy blue sweater. He should pack a few other sweaters while he is in Maine. Don't they have an LL Bean store nearby ?

It started when they were permanently sequestered to the Florida breakfast nook. It wasn't as bad when Mika & Joe were shown to be sitting at the same table. They are still sitting together but are each given their own camera.

No wonder Mika is depressed after each show. It's a bad way to start the day.

Thank you. She seems to be winding herself up more and more with every passing moment. I rarely watch since their move but all the news has me back. The contrast between the lack of control from Mika with the smoothness of Willie - it’s just jarring. His control makes her look unprofessional.

Joe talked about his friend who had Covid was wandering around the neighborhood. He was in an altered state. Joe is the leader of the neighborhood watch. He keeps an eye out for everyone's medical affairs.

Joe is worried about Trump being in an altered mental state. Mika wants the Cabinet to invoke the 25th amendment. Mika has dreamed about this since February 2017.

Dr Patel said that Herman Cain died 28 days after being diagnosed even though he felt better.

Joe is upset that he didn't win a Nobel Prize for discovering black holes. Joe started laughing at his phone. Willie played along with Joe  but Mika did not like the joke.

Mika started reading obituaries again. It's not very compassionate when she is yelling out the obituary.

Joe is excited about the the CNN poll showing Biden leading Trump 57-41.

Joe forgot that he warned the GOP to abandon Trump after the Hollywood Access tape in 2016. I remember how mad that Joe was after the election when Republican Senators Ron Johnson, Pat Toomey & Marco Rubio got re elected despite not listening to Joe.

It was one of those Willie & Joe skits where Joe starts discussing a topic that Willie isn't quite sure about. It takes Joe about a minute or two for him to set up the punchline. Willie usually plays along. Mika then gets frustrated & starts discussing another topic.

It's 8 35 am & Mika is still yelling about President Trump. She needs to have some herbal tea or start meditating after the show. It's unhealthy to be this angry .

I find it bizarre that Morning Joe didn't play any clips from last night's town hall with Joe Biden. It was on NBC & MSNBC.

Mika started calling it the seronavirus.

Mika finally started smiling at 8 40 am because Jonathan Altar discussed the Carter Presidency & the Camp David Accords that her dad was involved in.

Mika almost ran over Menachim Begin with a golf cart at Camp David. Mika could have changed world history.

I think it's a great idea for MSNBC to have someone from the Carter administration on stand by to tell stories about Dr Z.

This will calm down Mika & prevent her from snapping.

Joe joked about debating with Dr Z. It was exhausting.

At 50 she has nothing of relevance to say re foreign policy, so I'm gonna go out on a limb and bet a  7-8 year old wasn't part of the negotiations. 

Reagan would roll over in his grave if he heard Joe praising Jimmy Carter like that.  Next thing we know Joe will admit Carter didn't bungle the Iran Hostage crisis, that there were multiple moving parts that had to be considered; keeping Iran stable, trying to keep the Ayatolleh from gaining more power, the humanitarian issue of the Shah needing treatment for his cancer, (not excusing his treatment of Iranian people) the Iran foreign minister promising our embassy would be safe,  etc.   The Ayatollah released the hostages immediately after Reagan was sworn into office, just to hurt Carter.   But you know why read about history when you can just make shit up.  Maybe Joe will read Alter's book.

It's remarkable to see Joe's revisionist history of the Carter administration. I am a few years younger than Mika & I remember my dad complaining about gas lines & inflation in 1979.

Joe used to talk non stop about how Reagan saved America from the Carter malaise & he was starstruck by Reagan while he was in high school. He became a Conservative when he went to college. Joe also told  stories of having the Confederate flag & UK flag in his dorm room because he was a big fan of Margaret Thatcher.

Joe used to call Jimmy Carter weak when he was dealing with Iran. Joe said that Reagan would have never allowed the hostage crisis to go on so long.

I would have loved to watch a tv show with Dr Z debating Joe. He used to call Joe stunningly superficial over his knowledge of the Palestinian _ Israeli peace accord in 2000.

Exactly. If your "friend" (and I have to wonder if the friend is like the many sources Joe has within every agency of the US Gov't, diplomats at Embassies around the world, ie, imaginary) would go to a gathering with that many people who don't wear masks, maybe they bear some responsibility if they get sick?  Was your "friend who lives in Canada" wearing a mask? 

That being said, they don't think it was the Rose Garden event that caused the spread, that it was the meetings, etc inside the WH.   Not that you couldn't get it being that close outside.  

There's a photo of Barrett standing 2 feet from Tom Tillis. He tested positive. There are others with her family sitting jammed together on the sofas with Trump & his staff in the Oval. Sans masks.

Her friend was probably tested. And then falsely told that everyone else had been tested too, and that being tested means you are definitely negative, and will stay negative, and can do whatever you want. Then subsequently given zero information, in a timely manner, about whether he/she had been exposed and whether, as a result, they'd unwittingly put their friends and family at risk.

I doubt that. I really don't think the women of MSNBC are engaged in any sort of cut-throat survivor style dumb-ass reality show. I'm not saying there aren't things that can be improved, in terms of content, style etc,  but they all seem pretty chill, and supportive of each other.

I'm not awake for all of Kasie's hour, but the 10-15 min I do catch these days have truly been a pleasant surprise. She's a whole lot more versatile and interesting than I would have thought.

Mika does not appear on any MSNBC shows other than Morning Joe unless she is trying to sell one of her books or seminars.

Savannah used to have a role similar to Kasie when Morning Joe started . Savannah would be positioned on the White House Lawn in various  weather conditions & have to provide updates to Mika & Joe. Mika often teased Savannah & made fun of her wardrobe when the weather was bad.

Savannah & Chuck Todd  did eventually get promoted &  co hosted the show after Morning Joe. 

Savannah was later promoted to be the co host of the Today show.

Mika did audition for the Today show job but lost to Savannah Guthrie due in part to her poor "Q" ratings.

I sat in those gas lines for hours; with a toddler.  I would pack toys, snacks, pillow and blanket.  Then they went to odd/even license plate days.  If your license plate ended with an even number, you could get gas on certain days; if it ended with an odd number, you would get it the other days.  It helped the lines a bit; but that put a burden on the employee inside to keep the peace and watch for violators.  It did not always go smoothly.

Yes!. Joe must be working on Trump-Truman analogies. The first one will be the "Dewey defeats Truman" election. Joe will say that Truman was under estimated & won the election that he was supposed to lose in 1948. Trump won the election in 2016 that almost everyone including Joe thought he would lose.

Joe probably asked Meacham for assistance in writing his book.

Now I really feel old! lol We were living in Northern Virginia during the gas crisis; it was hair-raising.  Many many people commuted/carpooled  from the outer suburbs of Maryland and Virginia into DC.  I was working locally, part-time as a Librarian; Mr. Kemper had a carpool of 5 people; so I was The Good Wife and filled the gas tank in the van so he wouldn't have to.  Wine helped.

Clinton won the popular vote, but the win is based on the electoral college.  The electoral college is established in Article II of the Constitution, which provides for a total of 538 electors.  Trump won because he hit 270 votes in the electoral college.

This morning, Joe mourned Eddie van Halen as one of his favorite musical influences.  Joe claiming a Van Halen influence is pretty appalling.  Maybe he wants to get invited to Eddie Van Halen's memorial service.

Joe also claimed to know that steroid medications affect the president's decisions.  Did Joe go to med school at some point?

Joe would be good at identifying the similarities between Truman and DJT, it's a kind of short list.

Trump won the electoral college & under the rules of the Constitution, he became President.

Joe's electoral college prediction was Hillary would win with over 300 votes. Joe was wrong on almost every swing state prediction including Florida which he claims he knew very well.

Joe was driving the audience crazy with using the 270towin.com website.
