S06.E10: Backwards In Heels

Recommended Posts

Pretty sure she's still in bandages from the surgery, the loose over-tops would not only be more comfortable, they help hide that.

Yeah, that makes sense

My thoughts this episode:

It's too bad that by the time you have enough money to throw a Moulin Rouge party, you are probably too old to be wearing that type of costume. The costumes just made everyone look like grannies or mental

I thought they look good, inappropriate ,but good. I'm 45 and I hope I have a figure like their's as a granny. I've not seen many grannies with bodies like those.

I'm thinking Kathryn is being more than a wee bit slippery here.  She's putting ALL the blame on Faye for shining a bright spotlight on her & Marcus.  Not so fast, Kathryn.  True, Faye is a slimy creep.  Her personality stinks.  I don't care how much Kyle speaks up for her & protects her.  She sucks.  BUT I suspect Kathryn was being cagey here.  We are not getting the whole story from her.  Not by a long shot.  And from the creepy smile on Faye's mug last ep, I suspect Faye knows way more that she may not have said.  Kathryn's probably better off to just keep her trap shut & play nice & smooch up to Kyle & back away from Faye.

For me, it's more than merely being turned off to her personality.  Faye strikes me as a sinister & dangerous character -- one who knows where all the bodies are buried & one who you would def NOT want to know your secrets.  And just why Kyle is so palsy-walsy with her, I'd like to know.  Maybe there's nothing sinister to it -- or maybe there is.

To me, Faye is like liver, if you taste initially and don't like it  doesn't matter  if you wrap in bacon and call in Rumaki  or serve it as Foie gras.  If you don't like liver there is no dressing it up or renaming.  SO maybe it is time for Kyle to give it a rest or have her in the background-like last year.

To me, with Faye being close to all these now "known people" she has had every opportunity to write another tell all. Let's face the Jenners with the Bruce to Caitlyn story alone would have snagged a fat check.    So maybe after 20 years she learned her lesson but those who don't like her still smell Liva Snaps.

And back to Rinna's hair, isn't that a style older ladies have too?  Michele Lee bragged about have the same 'do when she was on WWHL.  Are Hillary, Jane Fonda & Helen Mirren sporting it too?  So Rinna could take that 'do to the grave if she chooses.

Yea, I sported that 'do years ago and got more compliments on my hair than any other time in my life. Makes me kinda sorry I decided to grow the "Rinna" out.

I don't understand why, with all their money, and access to a few restaurants, Kyle and Lisa would choose to hold this party at an unknown, dark location. I understand Lisa may not want to have a sleazy themed party at SUR, PUMP maybe, but even there, seeing her dressed in that trashy getup would alter her employees level of respect. However, Both ladies have yards that are well suited to host parties, and then we would get a dose of the ever entertaining Kevin. I'm thinking having it at this little venue made it look like there were many more people, than were actually there. Regardless, a stupid theme for a party.

As for Mauricio and Kyle, their PDA's reminded me of the saying "Me thinks thou douth protest too much." as used when a guilty person insists they didn't do something. Kyle talks a big game about how special their marriage is because it's been 20 years, yet her pawing, fawning, and generally acting like an adolescent in heat reminds me that she feels anything but secure with Mauricio's attention. It was as though she's putting on an act.

Well, for 1 thing, any event outside the HWs homes needs to be done by production well before filming. Production needs to secure signed releases for the venue, the employees and anyone that might appear on camera such as invited guests. IMO, that whole party was planned by production for a gathering of all the HWs, FOH, such as Faye/Taylor/Camille, nothing more and they used the anniversaries, which are weeks apart as the reason/excuse. They didn't use either LisaV's or Kyle's homes or businesses because it was supposed to be a "joint" anniversary party.

Thing is, being out on the table for 7hrs is nothing to sneeze at..many complications can arise.

I like Lisa R as well in a loose cannon unpredictable kind way

Loved seeing the old money decorated Pasadena house porn befitting a wealthy lawyer.

Was that 7 hours in actual real time or 7 hours in Yolanda exaggerated time.

Yeah, so much of reality shows are about securing product placement and other various sponsorship deals. So I'm guessing production or Bravo was able to ink out some deal with that place beforehand, and then after that they had Kyle and Lisa visit the place to "inspect" it as a potential location for the party. When all the while it was already locked down for the show by producers.

Bodies, yes. Faces looked granny-- tons and tons and tons of make-up and frizzy grey hair dyed and bleached

This is one my favorite things about Lisa because I hold grudges too and everyone everywhere should hold a grudge against Faye forever because Faye is the worst. Lisa's grudge holding is usually amusing, she manages to do it in such a fun way. As soon as Kathyrn started going on about the book again Lisa instantly got bored because it wasn't about her anymore. Ahaha I love it.

See, I would find it "fun" if Lisa V. owned up to it much the way you have. But that's the thing--Lisa continues to protest that she doesn't hold a grudge, and when she mentions it, it's always derisively, with the subtext being, "Whatever. These women don't know what they're talking about. They're wrong, wrong, wrong about me holding a grudge because I don't hold a grudge. They're the ones saying that I hold a grudge...but I don't."

I really am not caring for Kathryn so far, though. She comes off as very pushy to me. There were two little incidents last night that gave me that impression, but I can only remember one. I do not care for the "c" word myself. I just find it vulgar; and I'm not puritan when it comes to language. But I really hate when people lecture others on how to speak and how to behave. "You're too pretty to talk like that". Ugh, just comes off as very pretentious and condescending.

This is my view of her so far. Honestly, I was feeling her out over the past couple episodes, but something from the last episode--that "Don't act like you know me because you don't"--was so fucking try-hard and put on that my reaction right after she said it was: -___-. However, it was cemented with her telling another grown ass woman what words she should or shouldn't use, based solely on "You're too pretty to say those words." Girl, what? I don't like the "c" word either; I just don't. I have a friend who has used it, and all I did was bristle once it my ears, but I certainly didn't go into lecture mode. And I'm talking about a friend whom I've known for years. The damn audacity to tell a virtual stranger what words you think she should use (and based on her appearance, no less!)...

Kyle and Mauricio have been that way since the first season. We're six seasons in. Additionally, we're a couple seasons removed from the tabloid plot that Brandi and Lisa (and that other Skeletor, Witchy Poo) tried to make a storyline. I don't know if I buy that they're (or she, specifically is) putting on an act.

Kyle is really starting to revert back to her old self. Let us not skip over the fact that it was Kyle who sat down next to LVP and Kathryn and asked, "So, were you nice to Faye?" I understand she was asking that of LVP, not Kathryn, but Kyle knows about Kathryn's feelings towards Faye. Asking that question was like an open invitation for Kathryn to start clucking her tongue. Don't stir shit up if you don't want it stirred up. Asking a question like that in front of Kathryn, engaging a conversation about Faye in front of Kathryn and then getting mad at Kathryn for weighing in is complete nonsense. Don't be coy, Kyle, it's not cute on you.

Kathryn's husband is a cool drink of water.

(snip)

And Kathryn/Donnie:

"I'll make you some oatmeal."

"With blueberries?"

"And I'll make you some tea."

Scintillating conversation on par with the Kardashian sisters.  Yawn.

(snip)

I got a creepy Mommy vibe between Katherine and her husband in the oatmeal making scene. Shudder. Weird. Go away, you don't bring it.

(snip)

I was just channel surfing and chanced on the oatmeal scene for a second viewing. The first time it seemed odd but I wasn't paying much attention but this time it really stuck out how he was baby talking to Katherine. It was creepy.

Oh I agree, BUT I was annoyed with Rinna blaming Harry for being locked into one hairstyle for 150 years.  I'd rather she have said, "I like this hairstyle & I don't wanna wear it long & fuck off for telling me how to wear my hair".  Well, she kinda did say that in her TH, I guess.  But Kathryn telling her she should "grow it out" deserved a big, huge "Fuck off" & "Don't order me what to do, bitch" in response.

It's just that LisaR has a very choppy, piecy, distinctive style (which I'm sure she is keeping as her "brand" or something) which makes her "Lisa Rinna" (she looked uGLY with her hair back), along with her lips. She probably has been told if she changes her lips and hair she won't be important or used anymore (when Jennifer got her nose job she looked different and was just, eh). LisaR is the most desperate, sell-out, pathetic woman ever on the planet. IMHO.

Harry does not give 2 shits about anything LisaR does to herself. They obviously have no relationship whatsover, and I personally think he is a gay and smoking meth in a bath house somewhere in Little Havana right now. lol. I really do though.

Actually, no one really cares about LisaR. She stirs up no gossip. Even Yolanda didn't care what she was saying about her.

I LOVE that Kathryn called her out on her hair. LisaR has chronic Peter Pan syndrome and will never stop chasing her dream of being famous. Her body was granny looking as far as being emaciated.

I agree that Lisar is underweight and at times I find it really disturbing.  I wouldn't call it anywhere near 'granny' looking.  She's 52. The woman obviously works out.  A lot.  She needs to look in the mirror and realize that some clothes don't always flatter a 52 year.  A looser fit would do wonders.  And that not only goes for her but for the rest of the women as well.  If the outfit causes creases, whether it be your breasts or under arms,  maybe it doesn't fit you right....at any age.

Peter Pan? Hmm... approaching people and remarking "you don't look a day over 70! Amirite?!" Like the GEICO Peter does seem like something she'd do...

Especially since Faye had already told Kyle that Lisa was "nice" to her, so there really was NO need for her to question Lisa anything about Faye. She did it to provoke a conversation with Kathryn about Faye...... once again.

Does Yolanda think shampoo is also toxic?  Not wearing makeup is one thing, but the greasy ponytail she's been sporting all season just seems kind of dirty.  Dry shampoos work wonders too!

Yo's goal is to look as sick as possible when she needs to.  If that includes her hair, so be it.  And what kind of looks like brown eye shadow beneath the eyes when necessary.  This is her new career.  She is the face of Lyme all over the world.

I was under the impression that there's photographic proof that Kyle's White Parties started prior to the show. Somebody please feel free to correct me.

That being said, I agree with what you're saying. I think this party, the non-BBQ, and numerous other parties were encouraged by production.

I'll be honest, I'm a lot more VPR than RHOBH so I'm certainly no expert. But when I moved to West Hollywood some models who lived on my floor were friends with the Hilton/Richards girls (Paris and her cousins). They got invited to the white parties and I helped them get ready a few times, even lending out a white Herve Leger. They're the reason I started watching this garbage in the first place and from what I picked up, the white party was more of a Brentwood BBQ before Bravo got their hands on it, not a "highly anticipated event" like Kyle claims it is now. I also heard the Fatburger endorsement didn't come in until the cameras were involved. That's to be expected though. Like I said, everyone that goes on camera needs to be vetted. I'm sure a lot of guests turn down invitations because they don't want to be on camera, especially anyone of substance. They're basically guaranteed to be chyroned and no one does that without requesting an appearance fee ;)

And I agree with Kathryn on the "c" word. I hate that word, it is used solely to demean women. Erika's comeback that she would continue to use the f-word missed the point.

All curse words are used to demean somebody.  That's their whole purpose!  You usually call someone a curse word when you are mad at them.  One isn't any worse than the other if you ask me.  Whether its the "c" word, "f" word, "d" word or "p" word, their purpose is to demean and anger the person we throw it at.  The power in a word is in how you react to it.  If someone calls me the "c" word, I just give them my stock answer.  "Your mammy!"  Gets them every time. (I know, I'm 9 years old)  lol

But, don't dare bring a bottle of alcohol! Granted, kind of dumb to bring, but she certainly did not accept it with any modicum of grace. And, y'all, she hadn't walked in 9 months!

I was taught you should always accept a gift graciously even if its something that you think is hideous.  Yolanda should have just said thank you.  She could always put it away and serve it to guests when they visit, or just save it for when she's well.  You should never make a person feel awkward that they offered you a gift.  What a self serving douche she is.

I disagree, I don't think LisaV holds "grudges" at all. When someone hurts or betrays her, she becomes guarded and the relationship is changed by that hurt/betrayal but IMO, that is true for most people. She can still be around them, be civil to them, laugh with them during social occasions or at work (the show), even have sympathy with/for them but she keeps them at arms length. Again, it is NOT holding a "grudge" it IS protecting yourself from getting hurt again. Even when the offending person apologizes, they have to earn back the trust they lost over time and if that person never apologizes, she will be cordial but distant/cold....again, as most people would be. JMO and just my experience. LOL

I dislike the word but I agree about giving it power. I have never been called a "C" but have been called a "B" and I laugh, really laugh, which tends to make the name caller embarrassed about themselves. LOL

You know, I've been wanting Camille to come back to the show forever, but the few times she's been on now all she does is gush,'' Look at YOUUUUU!  You look GREAAAT!" kiss, kiss.  I want her to show up with her medium friend, her fabulous wardrobe, her snide comments! If she isn't going to be the old interesting Camille then she can stay away. We already have too many gushers as it is....

And I know this is unpopular, but I loved Erika's home.  It was total MONEY, solid money.  With serious and tasteful decorating.  I love Lisa's house, too, but it's more of a gorgeous fluff of a home.  (I'd probably be happier there I'll admit-- there's always her closet... drool...)

Between LisaR and Eileen, there are enough "gushers" already on the show!  They both go beyond the "You look pretty" shtick, LisaR is worse than Eileen though by a fair bit. LOL

I was so irritated with Kyle as she smugged about how Lisa got burned by the last new girl, Brandi, Lisa supported. This is half the reason I can't stand Kyle's ass. Kathryn has a legitimate beef with Faye and if Kathryn doesn't want to forgive Faye, that is her right. I don't know what's with Faye's and Kyle's inability to discuss that Faye have messed up with her book. And it's so fucking hypocritical of Kyle. She was livid when people brought up rumors of Mauricio cheating, but for some reason she expects Kathryn to shake off Faye's gossip. Yes, it was twenty years ago. But I'm sure it caused Kathryn some stress and there was no damn reason for Faye to do that.

Here's the thing that Kyle doesn't get Faye is a loyal friend and keeper of your secrets as long as it can get her fame and rich men. Keeping Nicole's secrets was not going to get her any those. I bet you if something tragic happened to all of Richards/Hilton sisters, Faye would find the key to unlock her lips. Though nothing would make me happier if someone dragged her and made her walk naked through Beverly Hills while a septa chanted "Shame! Shame! Shame!"

We're never getting S1 Camille back, and it's why I'm kind of glad she's no longer a full-time HW. She got in her apology tour during S2, and now that she's no longer the most reviled cast member, I'm okay with her only making limited cameos. Because Lord knows she won't give us anything but an overly sanitized, highly edited version of herself.

I think the biggest difference between Lisa V. and Kyle (who are quite similar in many ways), is that when Kyle says she's sorry, she seems to mean it and doesn't seek out other ways to make the person pay for the original transgression. LVP, on the other hand, will make you pay, repeatedly, even after the apologies have been doled out. And it's always a cocktail of constant little passive-aggressive digs mixed in with more overt displays of having not forgiven the person. LVP keeps score like no one else.

To me, that's the very definition of holding a grudge. I can only imagine (slash, lament) the kind of mindgame torture she would have put Camille through had it been her and not the clumsy Kyle who had been accused of the "why would anyone want you there without Kelsey" comment. (Mostly lament, because that would have been damn fun to have watched.)

Yeah, Yolanda was really rude.  And being rude seems to come so easily to her.  She didn't skip a beat, didn't even take a second to look at the bottle. For all she knew, it could have been something non-alcoholic.  In any case, it wasn't the best thing to bring, but there's no doubt it was well-intentioned.  A simple, "Thank you" would have been nice.  After all, it's more about the person who was kind enough to visit rather than what they have brought.

This flashed me back to a time when I spent many hours looking for a perfect house gift for the mother of my soon-to-be-husband.  I was going to be meeting her for the first time and spending the weekend at her home.  I was young at the time, and an older woman at my office went shopping with me because I wanted to get it right.  We chose a beautiful crystal bowl, and I paid to have it professionally-wrapped.  I was really happy with my choice.  The reaction I got, however, was similar to Yolanda.  My future MIL opened it, and said, "The last thing I need is another glass bowl".  To say I was crushed is putting it mildly.  This was a long time ago, and I still remember how awful that felt.

Of course Yolanda's reaction did not have the same kind of emotional impact on Lisa, but it was still rude.  I was raised to say "thank you" when given a gift, and I taught my kids at a very early age that they should always politely say "thank you" when they received a gift, even if it was a toy they already had or something they didn't like.  It's not the THING you should be most grateful for - It's the thought, it's the effort, it's the caring.  So that pushed all kinds of buttons for me.  A gracious, perfect, and talented hostess (which is what Yolanda in her first season constantly told us she was) would never, ever do what she did when Lisa walked in with that bottle.  I thought Lisa's response was good  - "to be enjoyed when you're feeling better".  Shame on Yolanda for being - once again - such a bitch.  It would have been just as easy to say thank you, but she had to go the judgmental route.  Of course.

I'm so over Yolanda telling the audience how "real" friends behave.  She has too many rules to be a friend IMO.  According to her:

  - Real Friends do no take Yo's name in vain- if you say her name or talk about her -good or bad - Yo must be present.

  - Real Friends must sit by her bedside, or call or drop in to visit at all hours of the day, even if Yo posts on social media that she is feeling weak, tired, ill, etc.

  - Real Friends will not question or opine on her medical conditions even if it is to show concern or offer suggestions

  - Real Friends will not roll eyes when Yo makes ridiculous pronouncements like "I haven't walked in 9 months"

  - Real Friends will not make comments like "I saw your post on Instagram & you looked great!" when a Real Friend should know Yo is now experiencing unbearable pain- 1 hour later.

Of all the houses we've seen on this show Kyle's is still my favorite.  I don't like Faye Resnick one bit, but if she truly did handle the design and décor of Kyle's house, than I am begrudgingly impressed by her interior design skills.

Haha!  Funny, and only because it's all true!  I agree -  Way too many "rules" to be a friend.  I don't know why anyone wants to spend any time with her.  She's not fun, she's not interesting, and she's completely self-involved.  I can't imagine how it could be worth it.  I've been thinking about the list of what I would want to do with each HW, and honestly I would pass on doing anything with Yolanda at all.

I also agree re Kyle's house.  I like some aspects of Lisa & Ken's house too, but overall Kyle's house is my favorite by far.

I thought that was strange too - who does that, MY, MY, MY, when a house is shared with a husband? Makes me wonder if it really is just a business arrangement and HER house is specified in that deal.

I noticed that also.  I have no idea if their marriage is a real marriage or not, but the "my" business did seem odd.  To me a house is a home that you create/live in together, so why would it not be "our"?  It really was as though "Mr. Girardi" doesn't exist in her day to day life.  (He very well might - I just thought from the beginning that the whole dynamic with the two of them is a bit off.  And this just made that feeling stronger.)

I've gotta disagree on Lisar and Harry's relationship.  They were on WWHL last night and they certainly appeared as a husband and wife who love and support one another.  I also think Harry is kind of a boring type of person but he certainly supported his wife and what's she does when interviewed by Andy.

I'm not sure if Harry is boring.  Well, yes, probably kind of boring, but likely just mellow.  Lisa's a spitfire, so it makes sense that he would be more laid-back.  I think they kind of balance each other out.  I agree re WWHL.  I never really doubted that they had a good relationship, but they were very cute on WWHL, clearly on the same wavelength, clearly comfortable together, and he does seem to adore her.  They acted like every couple I've ever known who have been together a similar length of time and still really, truly like each other.  She's a little bit crazy, and they both pretty much acknowledged that.  I got the impression that it's one of the things he loves about her.  They were fun to watch.

hahahahaha. As soon as Yolanda said, "i haven't walked in... 9 months" i was like, OMG, they are going to rip you apart for that on the talk boards!

Harry and LisaR are actors. They were on WWHL ACTING. Exactly like their horribly fake (cancelled) reality show, Harry Loves Lisa. Ehk.

Kyle has always been a bitch to Kim. People don't like Kim so no one has really cared before, but definitely, Kyle treats Faye (and Taylor) like sisters and snubs Kim and maybe Kathy. Who knows on that one, Kyle obviously is smitten with Paris and Nikki.

I love LisaV. She seems so nurturing and sweet. I have mommy issues though. Maybe LisaV is holding a grudge. Regardless, Faye was a bitch to her and if some person I didn't know came up to me and yelled at me about something in front of all my friends purposely to humiliate and shame me, I would probably hate that person for life as well. Faye isn't the social police/ social prosecuter.

IMO, Kyle always seems to be a gushing 'fan' of Paris and Nikki, more so than their Aunty.

When they were home decor shopping, Faye was promoting something to Kyle based on the fact that she did the same for P or N (can't remember who) and Kyle's face lit up that she could have something similar. (This example may have been from the previous episode... I'm on a marathon catchup and I have jetlag! Europe back to Oz is a killer!)

Yolanda: "I want to go for a WALK. I can't believe I am saying that. A walk. Me! IT'S SO GREAT TO BE ALIVE!!!

When was the last time I WALKED?? 9 months ago????"

No.

Last week.

At the park.

With Kyle and Erika.

Yawn.

Yo forgets that she's been filmed doing this or that, going on trips, etc., every season. She now says she's been sick for years. Didn't look like it to me until she and David decided to split.

I dunno, that'd be really risky.  Why burn a bridge with the people responsible for making you look good in an industry all about that?

I wish this were a bigger point, because, all snark aside, I feel like the conflict on this issue isn't really that Yolanda is lying (aside from the m-word conversation that came from and led to nothing), it's that she's wrong, and for whatever reason, as smart as she wants me to believe she is, she's refusing to be wrong even as she rips out busted implants and says that makes her feel better.  I dunno, I'm ready to move forward, as they say in the Hills.  Although I don't know where you go for drama from here.

On another note, watching Kyle defend Faye makes me understand Kim's problems with her.  She wasn't like that when there were conversations about Kim, even her "let's not talk about it" comments are pretty mild.  Maybe she was overacting or drunk or whatever, but I'd kind of be pissed to see my sister go off like that for a friend and not me.

We've seen KIm go off on Kyle for things like that. Remember the fit she threw at Lisa's last anniversary party because she thought that Kyle was more understanding over Brandi and her issues than she was of Kim and hers? It was surreal and strange to watch.

I cannot really see a comparison between Kyle standing up for her friend, who has apparently never done anything to hurt Kyle or her family, and Kyle not standing up as firmly for Kim on every occasion. Kim being the one who has hurt her and her family over and over again. Of course, I don't think there is much doubt that Kyle has taken up for Kim on multiple occasions over the years.

That's right, how could I have forgotten game night.

Yea, she was pretty passionate in her defense of Kim that night, and for much of the season (again at the spa day at Adrienne's house).  I think it is fair to say that for the most part, the audience didn't care much for her loyalty to Kim. According to others on the show, Kyle was also very protective of Kim for the first season, asking the others to not talk about Kim's problems, and finding excuses for her tardiness.  This relationship is nothing if not extremely complicated.

I think they struggle on the show with finding a place that will allow them to film.  There was a big story a few years ago (I think specially talking about the OC show) that talked about the fact that they were finding it more and more difficult to find so much as a place for the ladies to have a cup of coffee on film. In many instances they take what they can get, although I thought the venue was very nice.

I didn't like that at all. I suppose you could say it was thoughtless of Rinna to bring her alcohol, but her reasoning was kind of sweet. That was the first gift she ever brought her and she was anticipating the day when Yo would be healthy enough to imbibe like normal. It had a bit of a hopeful message to it. But Her Lady of Lemons was quick to remind Lisa that she would not be able to use that gift!

When Lisa R. and Eileen went to visit Yolanda the last time when they toured her medicine vault, they brought her a bottle of Patrone Tequila. You see Eileen holding a gift bag at one point, then you see the bottle of Patrone on the bedside table, then as they are leaving the room the empty gift bag is on the bed.

I can't remember the name of the hotel where they filmed the first season they were on the roof top.  In the RHOBH Uncensored they mentioned Kim got them kicked out of the hallway/lobby and then a room and eventually they were told to leave.  I also remember early gossip reports, which would have been Lisa and Kyle's first lunch, where it was claimed they were being disparaging to Caitlyn Jenner. The story was based on a person  reading lips.  There were photos of the two of them at lunch.  (If course the conversation never happened but it was out there.  Same with the rumors of Caitlyn joining the cast.) So between establishments not wanting some of the chaos and wanting essentially a closed set the pickings are getting slim.  I also think some of the venues beg to be on the show.  It is not as if they are left filming at a Ramada Inn by LAX.  As beautiful as LVP and Kyle's homes are they seem to struggle with light and invariably have the events with a number of people outdoors.   Not all events, but we are down to walk through LVP's or just a couple of people.

While that is always possible, she has said in the past that she was confined to her bed/bedroom/house for 7/9/19 months, that she could NOT read, watch TV, hear music, write, drive a car, all during the time we all saw leave her house, drive a car, ride a bike, go on trips, listen to music, walk, run, write, read, well do all those exact things. LOL She wants everyone to buy into her stories and forget what our eyes/ears have seen/heard. We know that if she had really wanted to take a walk on the beach, she was in fact capable of doing so, she just chose not to and is trying to get us to buy she was physically incapable of doing it....which IS a LIE IMO.

If all of these inconsistencies don't come up at the reunion, I will be terribly disappointed. We need to see flashbacks of her making these statements, followed by flashbacks of her engaged in these activities, and then see her trying to explain her way out of the lies.

This is going to have to be exposed. I can't imagine this not being questioned.

It would be so great to see a montage of Yo's greatest fibs, but I cannot imagine that we ever will. All of the ladies very quickly pushed back in the media at the notion that they questioned her being ill (no doubt due in part to what happened to the folks over on the OC show regarding Brooks).  She is to an extent in the drivers seat with this whole thing, which I believe was her entire point in coming back to the show. She was well aware that she was being questioned - if not about actually being ill, then about the wacky treatments she indulged in and her constant need to document those treatments in social media - and this show gave her the platform to acknowledge those questions and try to make people feel stupid for having doubts. Really, none of these ladies has been anything except kind to Yo. They seem worried about her, are happy when they hear she is doing better, and in general seem to be rooting for her. I think she would have liked for it to be the case that everyone was seriously talking behind her back and calling her a loon, so she could play the victim even further. The result is that the ladies are not doing that, but a good portion of the viewing audience is. I think she wanted to rehabilitate her image with the public by being on this season, and in fact all she has done is damage it further.

A preview for next week.  I think Lisa's comments regarding it all being worth it just to see Yo laugh is very sweet and I wonder if Yo hates it.

Talk about different strokes - I think Mauricio is hot, Hot, HOT!  Though, I am quite partial to that olive skinned/dark hair/Mediterranean look, I think he pulls it off smashingly.  Obviously, YMMV.  :)

See I could get on board when he's groomed but I just can't get passed his eyes. The downward, droppiness and darkness that surrounds them makes him look ghoulish. I'm spanish so I get that he's got that "ethic" look going and even though I know having that gives automatic points sometimes that alone just can't carry it all and I think he gets most of his hottness "points" based on the fact that he's spanish. The skin tone sure, bod's not terrible but he just falls short for me. I looked on line for pics and I only found ONE where I was like okay I can see where he can be considered HOT but even in that pic his eyes were just all kinds of unattractive to me. I can get passed imperfections but his eyes really do just ruin the rest of his face for me. But he really does need to rock the groomed look from now on cause when I was skimming throw pics I realized ALL the reasons why I don't find him cute at all. His hair has no style just there, half curly, greasy, and when he does the shadow beard thing.. NO just NO. He doesn't do it right. It's all kinds of messy and sloppy and patchy. All that combined just makes him look like a hot mess to me. That's why I was pleased that he finally started grooming himself this season. Big improvement. Still not my cup of tea but his "hot" status at least makes a little bit of sense now.

When was the last time I WALKED?? 9 months ago????"

Every a.m. I walk 5 miles.  Except when there's ice on the trail.  So when someone says to me, "be careful when you're out walking" and I say, "Oh, I haven't walked in weeks", I hope they don't think I'm a liar because they saw me at the grocery store yesterday.  Just saying.

I think Yolanda meant she hadn't taken her daily 5 miler on the beach in 9 months. That's believable. Not that she'd lost the ability to hobble into the kitchen or the bathroom.

Like the rumor that Kyle didn't attend Monty's funeral.  Someone who doesn't like her will take a statement like that and give it legs.  Same with Yo saying she hadn't walked in 9 months - it becomes part of the long list of lies/over-dramatizations/misspeaks from Yo.  And she's told a few. But I think a lot of them have been blown out of proportion by non-fans. Because they're non-fans.  I'm actually a non-fan but I'll give her the benefit of the doubt on some things because English is her second language, she's only got 65% brain function, her credibility is in the toilet and I don't take every single thing any of these HWs say literally.  Even Lisa Rinna.  And that's hard for me, man.  Really, really hard.

I haven't run (a half-marathon) in 3 years.  I'll say right now, with 100% conviction, that I will never 'run' again. Bum knee.

But when I walk, sometimes I sprint for block or so.  I guess technically I'm lying about never running again but I hope my Hollywood friends don't hate me for it.

"Lyme Brain."  Done and done.

Seriously, it's got to be really, really difficult to be a friend to Yo.  If you don't show support, you are an awful person for not being there for a friend, which, as we know, is of the utmost importance to Yolanda.  If the women dare to question Yo's 1,735 inconsistencies, they are awful for daring to question a serious illness.  If they do show support (with the exception of Erika, apparently), they are doing it wrong - bringing a gift of toxic alcohol to Yolanda!!  For shame!  Poison!

For me, Yo lost a ton of credibility when she threw out there that the non-Gigi's also had Lyme, as if it were a known and established fact, when indeed, Yo had never mentioned it before that moment (judging by the shocked looks on the wives' faces).  Yo seems to think she can change, add, or embellish her story all she wants and blame it on fuzzy brain, and how dare anyone question the great Yolanda Foster.

Kyle proves Kim's points over and over again but it's just not ever pieced together enough to really have an impact. It boils down to what Kyle feels is worth her steely resolve and even though it's obvious that yes there's a difference between years of being worn down vs. her more than likely easy going relationship with Faye Kyle still shows that she can handle things without crumpling like a broken rag doll and trying to creating MAXIMUM effect. Watching her go on about Faye in her snotty, stank attitude then comparing it to the sympathy seeking frail displays she used to pull when it came to scenes with Kim really just proves a major point IMO.

I can't get past who he's married to.  And that he seems to have sipped the Faye Kool-Aid.  His voice and limited vocabulary don't help, either.

I admire that he's a hard worker and a good provider isn't All Work No Play. That's ah-maaaaazing.

Honestly I felt that was more about Kyle having a reason to go after the pretty new girl anyway cause she already proved that she wasn't feeling Brandi when mocking her at the previous function so Brandi going after Kim was a perfect opportunity for Kyle to lay into Brandi like she wanted. I never believed it was all about protecting Kim and more about having an excuse to go full force on Brandi. Win, win.

And since we're dissin' the Misters, I have to say that Kathryn's husband seems to have taken a few hits to his frontal lobe or something. Maybe it's because I taught Kindergarten but when he was on the sofa barefoot and pulled his legs up 'Criss Cross Applesauce' style and sing-songed, "How 'bout with some blueberries", I cracked up and rewound the scene.  He looked and sounded about five.  He said 'blueberries', but I heard:  "bluebearwees".

It didn't help when his mama said he'd get whatever she gave him.  These two...

(*Criss Cross Applesauce is what elementary teachers will say to get their students to sit on the floor, 'Indian Style'.  But we're not allowed to use that anymore. Non-PC.)

Especially since Faye had already told Kyle that Lisa was "nice" to her, so there really was NO need for her to question Lisa anything about Faye. She did it to provoke a conversation with Kathryn about Faye...... once again.

YUP!

Was that 7 hours in actual real time or 7 hours in Yolanda exaggerated time.

Ummm, I call 1 800 BULLSHT.

Having an implant taken out - even with the leakage - probably took 30-45 minutes.

Think of a cupcake tin that gets overfilled and baked? When you remove it from the tin, the excess that spills over comes off with the rest of the cupcake. The implant that I saw had leaked, but it was in one 'blob' and should have just been able to be taken out from between the skin/muscle and rib cage - they didn't go "into her ribcage" and her total time - from pre-op to surgery to recovery room to regular room - was 7 hours.  She is full of shit because I used to work in an OR and coded procedures and saw how long they took.

Yea, I sported that 'do years ago and got more compliments on my hair than any other time in my life. Makes me kinda sorry I decided to grow the "Rinna" out.

I remember when a lot of women had that cut - it really is a fun look, but is it carefree or do you have to style it every day? Edited by nexxie

LOL

See this is how I see Lisa too. I mean people expect her to pretend that relationships haven't changed. They have. Kyle pulled that mean girl shit on Lisa in the first season. She did it with Taylor and they did it like giggling school girls. It was ridiculous. They've been trying to paint Lisa as some "of with their heads" type of polite dictator that will black list you from the state of California and it's ridiculous. Oh don't get me wrong, you come for Lisa V she's not going to stand for it and she does have her own brand of spanking that's for sure but I love that she's very no nonsense with how she deals with these women. Yes she can be dismissive and rightly so. A lot of times they come for her in the most ridiculous of ways and I too would wave them off with wave and polite little laugh. Lisa has said as much during the seasons and has explained how she sees her fractured relationships, why and how, if it is under repair how slow going a process it can be for her if the trust keeps getting bruised. She's been pretty up front with how she handles them. She was a lot more invested in the first season. You can see that in the meeting with Taylor where all of a sudden it turned into a gang up on Lisa. You could see an honest reaction from her and she even put all that aside to comfort Taylor because she saw how seriously it impacted Taylor. That Lisa's gone. Once she realized the emotional manipulations that were happening because of the show, usually using her as the big bad initimidating Lisa she realized she was going to have to put these fires out early one least she be the target at the end of each season as the one that puts everyone on edge. Just look, season after season. Lisa is always a main focus and how she's intimidating or having beef or being abrupt and unnerving. They've been running with this for season after season trying to make big bad Lisa happen and I think she's finally started dishing it out in smaller doses (being so inquisitive and asking all the questions) so that she can give them a little bit of what they want but not go overboard in order to keep them from going FULL blown Lisa's our enemy like they've done before.  I for one am tired of the questioning of who Lisa R really is. I think we saw the most genuine version of her in season one and I liked her and to be honest I think she's held on to that for the most part even through the casts attempts at painting her as some whatever. She may loose points here and there, and get more and more steely season by season but I think she's still managed to stay true and show us for the most part the bulk of who she is.
