Let's start with Maci, since she was pretty boring tonight. Anyone else think she totally got goo-goo eyes when Ryan picked up baby Jade at the bowling alley? No matter how of a jerk he is, I think deep down she still has maybe a smidge of feelings for him. I don't think that's uncommon for a first love. But it's like, Ryan is nice for one day and her heart just goes pitter patter.

And he definitely was on his best behavior at the birthday party. I thought to myself, is he on uppers? He's so lively and fun and interacting with everyone. Whatever you were taking that day, Ryan, keep it up!

I want to know what is up with Maci and her parents. Even if they don't want to be filmed, surely they would still be involved with Maci and Jayde. We never hear mention of them. Jenn has watched the baby twice now; how come we never here that Jayde is at her grandparent's while Maci is doing x, y, and z? It's just weird.

Go Kim, with your speech about Tyler doing nothing! Seriously. And I loved Catelynn's face when Kim was like, "Well, Cate's home with Nova". She had a look like, "Damn, straight." She totally had another baby so she wouldn't have to keep coming up with excuses as to why she hasn't done any of the things she said she was going to do.

Except, she's outsourcing care of Nova to freaking April 2-3 nights per week. And even Butch is babysitting while they go to therapy! Aren't these the same people who were so horrible you had to give your first child up for adoption??? I realize many years have gone by and people can change, but she really just jumped in with both feet, didn't she? If it were me, I might let April watch Nova while I went to the store for an hour.Work my way up to overnights by the time she's five, and old enough to tell me what goes on around there.

I don't know if it IS PPD, but I've never heard of someone letting their infant spend so many nights away from home. Tyler doesn't even think twice about it until his mom brings it up? No, he's probably glad to have some peace. I found it very telling how both of them described Nova when the therapist asked what kind of baby she is - "needs constant attention" (Cate) and "hyper" (Tyler). I've never heard anyone in my life call a baby "hyper". I'm just going to say it - I STILL don't think those two are ready to be parents. They're lazy and unmotivated and immature. Tyler does nothing all day, except play on social media, and it's taken 9 months for him to realize he should help with the baby??? Take a seat.

Also, he's a writer now? I won't hold my breath.

UGH, I'm glad Babysit-Sophia-Gate has finally wrapped up, because that was taking WAY too much air time. I knew she would give in and let Deb participate. She just wanted to keep them guessing and assert her power. I mean, seriously, who calls in a therapist over a babysitter??? She is totally fucking with her parents.

Also, Sophia needs to be in a booster still. She is not tall enough to go without one, her seatbelt was right across her neck. Yikes!

I really don't like Gary. I don't like Amber either, but for some reason I feel sorry for her. I can't help it. I think she is someone who is easily taken advantage of. I think she is very insecure and feels alone in the world and Matt has preyed upon this much younger girl who likely has daddy issues. But anyhow, I know Gary has taken better care of Leah (but really, I think that's by involving his mother and then later moving in a girlfriend to do the heavy lifting), but I still find him repulsive. I totally think he showed Amber those papers on camera on purpose. Yea, that info would have gotten out there anyhow, but he just relishes in making her look bad, while playing the "good dad" role.

And I feel like nothing has been resolved with Matt and HIS daddy role. Even on the after show, no resolution. I don't think AMBER knows one way or another if those kids are his or not. I just don't see how likely it is that Matt was having sex with 5 different women who were also having sex with multiple partners, so there's confusion as to who the dad is. It seems highly unlikely. What is the story here? Matt didn't even bother to try and explain. I think he knew about all of those kids and tried to leave the state to get out from having to pay for them. He's so gross.

Poor Leah, she's such a sweet kid surrounded by so many assholes.

Whenever Bentley is happy and Ryan and Maci aren't fighting, I have a warm feeling in my heart, when these two can act like adults or at least civil.

I love that they try to do a family picture every year together. My parents split up when my mom was still pregnant, but when I was 1 they had a professional picture done of the three of us. It's seriously one of the most treasured things I own. There needs to be more coming together for the sake of the kids on this show.

While I don't agree with 99.9% of the shit that Ryan does - or doesn't do, because honestly, he doesn't do much - but I hope he continues to treat Bintlee's sister so sweetly.  Because it's simply the right thing to do - kids can never have enough people to love on them.

I hope he does too, except for the part where he suggests Bintley hook up with all her friends when they're older.

Wow! Cate! She even had a blanket and was laying down in therapy.

I know! I was yelling at the TV, "Catelynn! Sit up!!!" She's getting to be almost as bad as Amber or Jenelle.

Am I the only one who is creeped out when Debra calls Farrah "baby"? It just sounds creepy as hell to me.

It is creepy. It's like the entire family is emotionally stunted and trapped in Farrah's childhood. My parents had nicknames for me, but they stopped before I was even a teenager. And somehow I doubt I'll be calling my kids "Bear", "Ladybug", and "Wampy" by the time they have kids of their own.

What does Tyler think his life would be like if he did not have this show?  He has very little in the way of education or job skills.  I do not see him going to vocational school and learning a trade.

I think Kim is encouraging him to write, because it is another way to extend their fifteen minutes.  I have always thought about what these people are going to do once Teen Mom is over.  Now, I am beginning to think that this show will never be over and these people can laze around and live off the fame and money forever.

Edited to add: Hey all you Millennial girls who did all the right things and are still struggling...if you guys had just gotten knocked up as a teenager and went on MTV, you would be living the easy life.  Though sometimes you would have to get out of bed at 10:30 to take care of your child.

I'm glad Kim questioned Tyler about Nova being gone, but I wish she would have put 50% of that on Tyler. Even if Cate had some sort of depression he could say "you sleep in today, I'll take care of Nova". The fact that he basically does nothing for his child is appalling. Almost as appalling as the amount of second had smoke Nova is exposed to at Cate's mom's. That is scary and might be contributing to her so called 'hyper' behavior. Plus, on the aftershow I thought she said she is taking antidepressants and breastfeeding. Can you do that? I thought you couldn't breastfeed if you were taking any prescription meds.

I did find it ironic that C&T get criticized for grandparents taking Nova 2 nights every week, when that is the virtually the same situation Maci had with B. I found it shocking that Maci complained in one ep that she wants some wends with B, and then in the next she complained about how the Vegas w-end was her first free w-end since Jayde was born. There has been the mudrun, Vegas and now the wedding so Maci gets a lot of breaks from being a mom.

Someone asked about Maci's parents involvement. I do remember she said they had Jayde one time, maybe for the Vegas trip. I get the feeling they are happy to be grandparents, but don't want to be treated like a nanny with a standing job.

I just assumed Maci was leaving the baby with Jen because she walked in carrying the diaper bag. I would think if she was just dropping off Bentley quickly before she headed to the wedding, she'd leave the bag in the car and send Bentley out to go grab it if she unexpectedly needed to change the baby's diaper or give her a bottle. Bentley seems to really love the baby and dotes on her. I'm sure he'll be babysitting soon when Maci moves on to the next guy.

And then all the fuss over removing the camera in the car but still having their voices recorded inside the house. Ha ha

ETA: because I didn't mean to quote myself.

Sophia, you might not want to speak badly of your grandfather considering he is one of the very few people who don't want to splash holy water on you!

Don't buy houses Amber, buy a clue about your fiance! The man came first for a visit that turned into him moving in. Now, the soccer team of kids he failed to tell her about.

I knew Ryan had it in him besides Bentley seems like a fun kid. Who wouldn't want to spend time with him.

I don't remember but does April ask for Nova or does Cate just bring her. I would say that if April has herself together and ask for Nova, it could be her way of making it up to Cate for being a shitty parent.

No doubt. Writing books, (well, "writing" books), selling Tshirts (well, "selling" tshirts, which basically consists of funding a photo shoot for your better looking friends), flipping houses (well, "flipping" houses), hawking shit at trade shows/on twitter (sadly that one is legit)- whatever happened to learning a trade and then working in that field? Are these lazy assholes so desperate to avoid 9-5 jobs that they will sink all their limited resources into various get rich quick schemes and attach their name to any product that will have them as a spokesperson, regardless of how ridiculous the product is?

These people have put far more effort into avoiding honest work than most people do at their actual jobs.

I usually don't even comment on Cate and Tyler but these two really made my blood boil this episode. I'm a SAHM of an 18 month old so I completely understand needing a break now and again but in this situation you have two parents at home 24/7 so there is absolutely no reason why they should be dumping their infant off at crazy grandma's house 2 or 3 nights a week. It's absolutely ridiculous!

Tyler is a piece of shit. He's putting all the blame on Cate as if he has no say where his daughter goes. What do these lazy assholes do all day?

Poor little precious Tyler is too good to work a regular job like everyone else. I can't wait for the Teen Mom gravy train to end and for reality to slap both of them hard in the face.

Cate doesn't want to be a SAHM, she just wants to stay at home doing nothing. And why doesn't Nova ever have clothes on, are they too lazy to dress her?

I found their comments about Nova interesting.  I can't imagine what, in Tyler's feeble mind, constitutes a baby as being "hyper".  And Catelynn's, she "needs constant attention" - um, hello!  She's a baby and yes, they require lots and lots of attention, simpleton!  These comments just solidify that Carly is in the right hands with Brandon and Teresa.

Wow! Cate! She even had a blanket and was laying down in therapy. Sheesh.

I know!  Can she not sit up and stop scrolling on her phone for a 1 hour appointment with a professional?  She's so lazy and is beginning to remind me of Amber.  She also needs to stop that nervous, manic chewing on her nail bits.  It's disgusting.

I loved Ryan this entire episode!  He even managed to have a coherent conversation with his friend at lunch.  He was so funny when he was giving his mom a hard time about watching Jayde.  I do think Jen genuinely enjoys watching her from time to time.  That will be a special relationship for Jayde as she gets older.  I wonder if she'll call Jen, "Mimi", too.

I don't think we'll ever get the real story about Matt and the actual number of kids he has.  Neither Nessa nor Dr. Drew will directly address that question with Amber since they treat everyone with kid gloves, so the details will probably remain murky.  I don't trust him as far as I can throw him.

I don't know if you've seen next week's preview which they showed on the after show, but, wow, Farrah!  She is just a selfish, entitled biyotch!  I don't know how she gets away with speaking to people like that.  Hopefully, karma comes back at her with a vengeance!

Babies are active, not hyper. They don't sit on the couch for hours on end. Once they are mobile(crawling/walking), your days of peace are pretty much nonexistent.

Another thing, most babies do need constant attention. Especially at Nova's age. My 10 month old will play alone for little amounts of time, but usually I'm down on the floor with him, keeping him busy, teaching him to play. I agree about Catelynn and Tyler not being ready to be parents. It's painfully obvious.

From Farrah's porn to Tyler's books.  All the endeavors are quick moneymaking schemes to play off z-list fame and not acquire any real education or skills.  These people now feel "entitled" to the good life and perhaps have enough fans to sustain that for a while.

I'm not a parent, and I agree that April is a questionable caregiver, but can I ask what's wrong with getting a break from a baby?  I mean, that sounds kind of awesome.  Is it that you're supposed to want to spend time with your baby?  Although, getting a break is completely unrelated to the fact that evidently Tyler isn't helping with the baby in an appreciable way, and THAT is a giant load of bullshit.  I actually wish my friends would take MORE breaks from their kids, but that's because I get less time with them, or almost no time when the kid isn't with us.

Also?  Tyler??  Kim?  You DO need a degree to become a writer.  Things like grammar, story structure, and actual exposure to great literature are things you can certainly learn outside of a college classroom, but stop letting him get off the hook for college.  Cate's caring for the baby, GO TO COLLEGE.

Breaks are super awesome. I try to get together with my friends a few times a month and date nights with my husband once a month (he works a lot so that's hard to do) but overnight stays 2+ times a week seems awfully excessive for two people who do nothing all day.

If I had to leave my baby with April in order to take a break --- I would go without the break for the health, welfare and safety of my child.  In the past, April sold fake stories to the tabloids about her own daughter.  Not too long about she wasn't able to take care of Nick.  How is this husk of a human supposed to provide care for an infant/toddler?

That counseling session was so odd- Cate was on her phone.  Tyler is just a mess.  Part of me wonders how his mom ended up with Butch.  She seems relatively put together for that crew.

I think he did the right thing by bringing all the child support stuff to light, BUT, he should not have done it with Leah present, knowing that Amber would flip out. Personally, I would have sent her the info via registered mail. with a copy sent to her lawyer. But that would have made for pretty boring TV, showing someone mailing a letter lol. I laughed when Amber said Gary never comes outside. Ain't that the truth, Gary barely moves out of a chair. When he actually rolls himself 5 feet outside the front door, something big must be up.

Cate and Tyler seem pretty clueless about parenting and what it takes. And sending Nova to Cate's mom's house 2-3 nights per week is a pretty outrageous decision for two non-working parents to make (especially given Cate's mom's history). Clearly Cate has some issues going on (i.e., depression, guilt, etc) and she should be engaging in some intense counseling.

That being said, I think that Tyler's mom seemed somewhat jealous/resentful that Nova was always at Cate's mom's and not available when she was able to make it to visit. She works, right? And has a life that involves typical adult responsibilities? So she is probably not able to keep Nova nearly as much as all of these unemployed people.

I loved how she gave Tyler the business about being lazy.

  • Love 6

Nova is being left with April 2-3 days/nights a week?! I'm sorry, but are Catelynn and Tyler fucking morons?

First off, they are both unemployed. I have a 10 month old son, and I am a nurse that works the midnight shift, and I still would never consider dumping my kid off for 2-3 nights because "I need a break." Welcome to motherhood, Catelynn. Your days of getting breaks and being shoved up Tyler's ass should be over!

Secondly, I would NEVER allow a person like April to watch my child. Period. I don't care if she's "changed". All I can picture is her smoking cigarettes and blowing the smoke in poor Nova's face and telling her what a bitch her mother is for giving up Carly.

I said it earlier, Tyler's issues of being a person are a nightmare to him- he said those words "going to work every day.. that's just my nightmare". His life is too much of the same thing everyday? I still don't know what the hell he is talking about. regular people do the same thing everyday; he's on a tv show, where he gets perks and doesn't deal with an everyday grind. What was he talking about? Also, hi, he just got married like 5 seconds ago and aren't they going on a honeymoon soon? His life is anything but the daily grind, I don't know how Cate puts up with this crap. Also, he probably has already a book deal inked because he is on this show.

Tyler and Catelynn annoy me so much.  After all of this Carly talk, you would think they would love to be parents, until the reality of parenting shows up at their door in the form of Nova.  Oh, it is actually work...we don't just get to sit and play and do what we want all of the time.  And for Catelynn to volunteer to be a SAHM, and then dump off her child half the week just pisses me off.  Then go get a job, and get a break that way.  Sometimes people aren't meant to be a SAHM, and that is okay.  I just think they are showing Brandon and Theresa why it is a very good thing Carly is with them and not C & T.  For Tyler, to be like, oh, I guess you are right, mom, Nova has been gone a lot.  Really, you live there doing nothing.....and she is your child!  This just bothers me to no end.

All this. Catelynn whining about getting up at "7 AM" every day to tend to her baby made me LOL. And everything about her and Tyler's counseling session made me want to smack them. Their baby is 10 months old and they have no sense of her personality? Catelynn needs a break?? From what? They love the idea of having a child but can't put in the work or deal with an actual human baby. The dream of what might of been with Carly was all they could handle.  Catelynn worries me. She's gnawing her fingers to nubs and she can't seem to drag her ass off the couch for any reason. She's a mess! Put your phone down and take care of the baby you wanted so much. She's on anti depressants and isn't questioning that maybe the dose or the medication itself might not be correct? Because something is definitely wrong. She is so completely passive "well, I'm on anti-depressants, so I can't be depressed". I want to shake her.

Tyler is just a joke at this point. Go to school, get a goddamn job or at least take up a hobby. Do metal work or garden or fix cars. It makes me sad that these two have had opportunities they could never have imagined and could have done anything--gone to school, done volunteer work, gotten a job, traveled, learned a trade, read a goddamn book every once in a while. And they choose none of it. Tyler's nightmare is working. Because he has such a rich life, sitting around in their dark, depressing house glued to his phone. I was cheered a little by seeing them biking/roller blading. Maybe they do go outside occasionally and enjoy their daughter?

I was laughing hysterically when Ryan was imitating Maci. He definitely sees right through her.

I don't even know about Farrah, she is the worst.

Regarding Amber and Matt, I do feel bad for Amber. I think that she does love him and trusted him and seeing those papers was a shock. She needs to run not walk away from him. He gave me major creeper vibes when they got home and he was yelling at Heather in the garage. I half expected him to slug her or something.

Maci: You and Taylor are so cute together. So glad that Ryan is finally stepping up as a Dad, (Without Jen and Larry nagging him to). Jayde is adorable.

Farrah: Farrah is a bitch, and will always be one. She’s also paranoid that people are doing things behind her back. (Does she smoke Pot?). Her attitude is sure rubbing off on Sophia. I wish MTV would fire her already. Also, since when does Farrah’s therapist travel?

Catelynn: Cate seems so deer in headlights like with Nova. She needs to address her issues. Also Tyler is writing a book? About what? And what made him think the Novalee Batman tat was a good idea? It looks ridiculous.

Amber: Amber needs to open her fucking eyes, and see the truth! Matt is using her for money, fame and whatever else. He’s shady. I felt bad for her when Gary brought that up on camera, but it definitely should’ve been addressed between she and Matt. Also, his denial is shady. Dude has problems.

I agree Gary giving Amber those papers in front of Leah was not the wisest decision (although Amber's explosive reaction is all on her...she could have taken the papers and said, "thanks, I'll look into it" and there would have been no traumatizing scene for Leah), but I think giving them to her in front of the cameras was an excellent idea.  This way there is no way she can deny it, pretend she didn't know, etc.  Here are the facts, Leah, and everybody is aware.  Now what are you going to do about it?

And I felt bad for her, truly.  Talking about how stupid she was going to look/feel if all of it was true...well, yeah.  But somebody needs to point out to her...what's more important...her pride?  Or removing a predatory, deadbeat father-figure from Leah's life?  It should be no contest but apparently she's still with him so...

Tyler and Caitlynn are totally worthless. They do NOTHING. I can't wait until TM is over and they are broke and have to get minimum wage jobs. Sad that they can't even take care of their own baby. Its absolutely ridiculous that Nova is with April 2-3 nights a week. I'm a single parent of  two and I work full time and have my kids literally all the time I am not at work except for maybe one night every four months when they go to their grandparents house.  Its a struggle to get a sitter for a few hours. Neither Cait or Tyler work, all they do is sit on their ass and they can't watch ONE baby that they wanted so badly. I think Teresa and Brandon need to close the adoption just for the fact that Nova may grow up extremely jealous of Carly and hate Cait and Tyler for not giving her up as well. I thought Cait decided on adoption because she knew April and Butch were toxic and didn't want a baby growing up in that environment. Fast forward seven years later and I would bet money April is still not clean. Yet Caitlynn has no problem handing a young baby over to her three nights a week (that she admits to) when a few years ago Tyler and Caitlynn were trying to adopt Nick so he could escape the hellhole that was life with April.  Carly definitely got the best end of that deal.  Nova will be raised mostly by her white trash druggie grandparents while her parents probably smoke dope and sit on the couch playing on their phones most of her life. Carly will have so many opportunities that Nova won't.  Her sister will grow up in a stable affluent household with parents that probably love her more than life itself and Nova has parents who look at her as a burden no one wants to take care and they see her as too much work. They don't even seem attached to that poor baby.

Love love love the scene of Ryan holding Jayde. Maci is another one who doesn't seem very attached to her newborn. Pawns her off on others every chance she gets. Is Maci estranged from her parents? Is she not allowed to mention them on the show?  Taylor's mom watched Jayde when they went to Vegas, Jen when they went to the mud run etc.. where are maci's parents??

Amber, you are delusional. Matt is a totally user. He doesn't give a shit about you. How bad does it make her look that she is claiming to want more time with Leah and her fiancé has 7 kids he's abandoned and owes child support for? Get married to the creep and I hope Indiana includes YOUR income in his child support calculations and that you end up paying his arrears.  Matt doesn't care about Amber. If it was Janelle that accepted his advances and let him move in and mooch off her he'd be living the good life with Janelle instead of Amber. How can she not see he only wants her for her money. He doesn't have any means of supporting himself. He's her mom's age. Good god girl have some self respect and get rid of that loser.

As another kid-less person, I agree with you, my friends need to take more breaks too lol

However... the overnight thing I think is a little excessive.

And does April not work?? I wonder if Kim's concern isn't that much about Cate needing a break but more so about who Cate is having watch Nova all these days and nights per week.    And I'm sure Kim is just trying to push Tyler towards writing a book because either other idea is a dead end and she just wants him to do SOMETHING with his life.

Tyler doesn't want a mundane life where he does the same thing every day... well what is he doing now???

Maybe it doesn't get tiring doing nothing day after day... I'd honestly like to try it sometime.  The closest I get is when I take a week of vacation off after Christmas lol

I was cracking up listening to Tyler try to explain that he won't get off his lazy ass and get a job because he "doesn't want to conform."  HA HA HA!!!  Talk about arrested development.  My husband was yelling at the tv "GET A JOB." Good god.  I'd be so embarrassed if I was his mother.  And how is he not helping Cate?  He's not doing ANYTHING ELSE.   How has Cate not tried to bludgeon him with a frying pan yet?  And Cate, honey?  PPD is nothing to be embarrassed about.   She's clearly suffering from it.  Pawning off your baby 2-3 days/nights a week is not normal.  Yes, everyone needs a break.  But 2-3 times a week?  Something else is going on.   Maybe your good for nothing husband can help you out a bit.

Ryan was very different this week.  I'm thinking maybe he traded his downers for uppers.  I mean, I found him delightful (especially his calling out Maci on her totally transparent conversation with Mimi to watch Jayde) but I was a little concerned about what caused the sudden shift in attitude.

Amber is just an idiot.  She's gonna get burned so, so hard.  Can't save 'em from themselves.

Cate and Tyler need a break? Really? I have 3 kids and can't imagine pawning them off to grandparents 2 to 3 times a week.

This is where I think PPD comes into play for her. I had it with my first. I would think nothing of being away from my son if it meant he wouldn't be around. It was awful. If she is truly suffering with it them she really needs to get help. All her lying around wanting to do nothing is another indicator of depression.

Tyler though..no excuse. Get off your butt.

Part of Catelynn's problem is that she has spent the last 5 year romanticizing what a great mother and father they would have been if they kept Carly.  Each night she wrapped herself up in that Carly face blanket, she visualized the two pushing the stroller and reading to Carly.  Feeding her together and playing patty cake.  Those dreams turned into delusions.  They're not even bothered to take the baby food out of the plastic retail container -- or take the kid off the floor to feed her.  Now she's realizing that Tyler isn't parent material.  He's disinterested in being a father, a partner or even a breadwinner/provider.  Parenting is hard work.  She had no idea what she was in for -- even with starring on a series with "Mom" in the title.

His videotape does make it sound like the 7+ kids story is the truth but has been inaccurately portrayed. As if they were old cases and the kids are all of age now. He kept saying "older kids" but never said "2 older kids" as he has in the past when referring to his son and daughter.

The video played very much like a pr stunt to save his behind. Gary didn't say that having 7 kids was negative. He said that lying about the amount of kids and being a deadbeat dad are negatives. No matter what way you spin it, they are negatives.

If Amber had no idea something was going to be said to her, why did she say she hopes he isn't outside. Than acts all shocked when he is, since he never comes out. If he never comes out, why would she even mention it on the way there?

I'm confused about Kim encouraging Tyler to be a writer. She brought that up in the context of what he wanted to do as a career. Does she think he is going to write multiple books and get them published?! At best he can pump out one stupid book about this stupid show but how many people even buy that? I know a few of the girls "wrote" books but obviously they are not planning on living off the money made from one shitty book for the rest of their lives. I don't see how maybe writing one book is a plan for the future?

True.  They should look into flipping houses.

Really at Matt calling Gary a phony bastard. Says the guy with 8 kids who didn't tell his fiance.

Not to mention, that bastard said it IN FRONT OF LEAH!! That is her father. Gary is not the best guy in the world, but he deserves the respect for being Leah's father. He is not the deadbeat, Matt is. Gary made sure to be in Leah's life when Amber couldn't bother to do so. Matt has no business pointing fingers at anyone while four of those fingers are pointing right back at him.

I'm curious to see how Matt taps Amber in the head to spin the anger at Gary and away from him being a deadbeat.

Word, Brooklynista.  He started on that as soon as they drove away. You could see the anger in Matt's face as Amber dared to give him the side-eye. Then, when they rolled on in to the garage, Matt and Amber start pulling out the cameras from the car. You know there was a lot of major shit going down that the editors didn't show us. Amber can be just as mean and nasty as any guy, but I get the feeling Matt is beating her down (figuratively speaking). He quickly made it about Gary. Why so defensive Matt? Whatcha got to hide? You are mad because someone threw a wrench into your plans. Matt had to act quickly and make Gary look like the bad guy. And what the fuck was it with him yelling at Heather? When Amber sat on the couch in the After-Show special, she had the audacity to say how the crew is her family yet, she didn't say a damn thing when Matt cursed out Heather and the crew. He was no different than Farrah. Matt just showed how bad a temper he really has, more so than Tyler. Matt is likely one to harm animals, women, and children in more ways than one.

I'm gonna show my age here. Tyler reminds me of the singer/musician Richard Carpenter, looks-wise.

How is it a guy like him can own a home, have a huge wedding, plan a honeymoon, bring another child into the world and then sit back and not have a care in the world about his future?

I loved how Cate was quick to say she was a stay-at-home mom when Tyler's mom brought up the topic about Tyler's future plans for work. She then balked at having to care for Nova in a different scene. She is so stressed, she has to dump Nova at her mom's or wherever. Sorry dear, that is what a stay-at-home mom does when they you know, STAY AT HOME.

I got a little bit nervous as Cate seemed to be a wee bit aggravated at Nova when she was changing her. I thought she was going to yank her arm to pull the child up into a seating position out of anger.

Cate seems to be a bit angry herself. She didn't want to hear about how she drops her kid off. She was also one lazy ass bitch at the therapist's office. She was leaning on Tyler as she was looking at her phone as if she was at home. Why is this girl so damn lazy? She couldn't bother to give the therapist her full attention. See, that shit bugs because if you can't put 100 percent into therapy, why the fuck do you go?  Yeah, Cate can go kick rocks. She doesn't get any sympathy from me. You reap what you sow. She wanted a baby so now she must deal with it. All her talk about a career was just a story line for the cameras.

Whoa, did Farrah really reach her arm out to her mom in that therapy session? Color me shocked. Then again, it could have been for the sake of the cameras and the therapist who seemed to be siding with the parents and pointing out Farrah's negative attitude. Thank goodness. Even Michael was not taking Farrah's shit. I think I saw a back-bone literally growing on his back!

Jenn has watched the baby twice now; how come we never here that Jayde is at her grandparent's while Maci is doing x, y, and z? It's just weird.

I keep wondering if her parents are not wanting to care for the baby because they didn't like Maci having gotten pregnant again without the benefit of a career first and getting  married. Maci has mentioned how it is her grandmother is on her ass to be a married woman. I would love to know that her parents have told Maci "no" when it comes to babysitting. Those two work and likely don't want to spend their quality time caring for a newborn. Maci's mom probably told her not to expect to dump the baby on them like Maci has dumped Bentley in the past unless it has to do with completing school and Maci getting a career going.

Cate probably has no "energy" because she sits on her fat ass (sorry but true) all damn day!! Both of them do NOTHING ALL DAY LONG. It's absolutely ridiculous!

I can't even comment on Farrah because she angers me so much.

Oh, and Tyler and Kim, yes, you really should get a degree to write a book. It's not like Tyler has anything else stopping him from going to school. My brother is a writer, but he also went to college and received a journalism degree (which was a 5 year program) and has a "real" job has an editor and writes in his free time. He needed a "real" job to pay his mortgage and support his family.

All of these Teen Mom dolts who can barely form a proper sentence and then they write books (Amber, Farrah, Kail)... WTF??

Maci doesn't look healthy to me.

. Plus, on the aftershow I thought she said she is taking antidepressants and breastfeeding. Can you do that? I thought you couldn't breastfeed if you were taking any prescription meds.

You can breastfeed while on certain  antidepressants... I have done so on Zoloft and Lexapro ... becaues of Post-Partum Anxiety Issues

No, Tyler has teen girls fawning all over him and Cate is fat.  So the rest of the relationship is going to be her doing everything and him acting like he she is lucky to have him.

The funny thing is if she had dumped Tyler and cut off his income stream of reality programs long ago, he would be begging to be with her.  He would probably wait on her hand and foot, the way skeevy Matt lets Amber sleep all day.

Matt is so disgusting.  I see him as a bad life Lifetime movie come to life.  He will let Amber become a lazy slug, probably hit on Leah when she is older, and then when she has given him all the financial access, slip something into her food and collect the life insurance after her death.

In the movie Matt can be played by Rick Moranis

Wow, how did Matt get that many people to sleep with him?!

Also Tyler is writing a book? About what? And what made him think the Novalee Batman tat was a good idea? It looks ridiculous

It's all a part of parenthood! In fact, that's what Tyler is probably writing...a parenting handbook! 1.) Have baby 2.) Get silly tattoo incorporating baby's name 3.) Make funny faces at baby...sometimes 4.) Post pics of baby to social media...I didn't say it would be a long book.

I noticed Taylor wearing one of those AWESOME leather-pocket tees. I immediately went on Things That Matter & ordered 12.

I have to admit, I feel a little sad for Tyler and Cate. These are kids who have never gotten to be kids with their dysfunctional families, so they rushed into adulthood. They might as well have kept Carly with the way they squandered the opportunities given to them by putting her up for adoption. I remember when they were saying how giving up Carly would allow them to go to school and grow up first, and that someday Carly would see that and understand why they did what they did. Instead they sat there in that little town, pushed out another kid and turned into a pair of thirty somethings overnight. If I was Carly I would be pissed. Really, after her adoption they should have broken up and had some experiences as individuals, like travel, relationships with other people, and just fun. It's no wonder they are depressed as hell.

By the way, I think taking part in this show has been the worst thing that could have happened to these girls. I think the only one who has done anything with herself and seems remotely healthy emotionally is Chelsea. And technically, if these kids are being paid by MTV to take part in this, it's not a documentary series, it's a non scripted "reality" show. The money the show has provided for them has allowed them to sit on their sofas all day long and accomplish nothing. Sad.

I don't begrudge Caitlyn needing breaks.  Most moms need breaks to stay sane (including me).  However, why Tyler can't watch Nova while Caitlyn goes out with her friends, hits the coffee shop or goes to the gym is beyond me.  I do believe April has turned a corner and is being a good grandma.  Her son Nick lived with Caitlyn and Tyler, so she should pony up some serious babysitting time.  Most of the other girls have tremendous support from their families.  Amber didn't and look how that worked out.

I hope Deborah and Michael have nasty, messy ex-sex in every room of Farrah's house (while Soph is at school).  Your welcome for the visual.

Is there hope for Ryan?  Looks like it, thanks to his mom stepping up to the plate and helping with lil sis.

Amber is pathetic.  Matt is pathetic.  And Gary is pathetic.

The end.

Hahaha, yes a thousand times. My mother would have had a fit if I'd treated her like drive through free child care. My husband and I were adults and were expected to handle things. In an emergency, sure, but just for "a break"? Hell to the no!

I agree with everyone who has said they have largely squandered their time since Carly was born however I also have a lot of sympathy for them because they have no idea how to be parents. They romanticized the could-have-beens with Carly without ever spending much thought on the reality of parenting especially an infant. No guys, she isn't ''high maintenance'' or hyper (for the love), she's a completely dependent person you intentionally brought into the world. I felt so sad for Cate when she was literally laying across a couch on Tyler wrapped in a blanket in therapy unable to express ''I don't know what to do because nobody, including this barnacle (Tyler), has ever taken care of me or put me first, so how am I supposed to know how to cope when it's ALL on me''? I hope she really does get help especially if they intend to have more kids.

They should have called this the "Alternate Universe" Episode.  Catelynn/Tyler:  Where you can leave your baby with the very same grandparents (2-3 nights a week) you claimed were so unfit that you gave your baby up for adoption.  You need a break damn it.  Being parents is hard.  Complain about getting a 9-5 job and earning a living cause that would be your idea of a nightmare.  I dont think Catelynn has PPD.  I think she regrets giving up Carly and it's driven home by the fact that they now have Nova and Nova is not Carly.  They have made alot of money from Teen Mom and she's thinking they could have kept and raised Carly.  It started last week with the wedding.  Cate and Ty are all talk and no action.

Poor dumb Amber...fiance to a man who has 7-8 kids who he provides no child support.   You cant make this stuff up.  What are the chances.  I guess the chances are high if you start a serious relationship with someone you barely know.  Perhaps maybe get off the couch and do a background check on him.  Or she could have even done the check from the couch on her iPad.    I tell you this group better be glad their lives are so eff'd up cause I can totally see Teen Mom OG - the Grandmom Years.  I'll watch.
