MarkHB January 18, 2016 Share January 18, 2016 An in-depth look at the origin stories of the heroes and villains of the highly-anticipated new series, DC’S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW. Featuring show clips and interviews from LEGENDS, ARROW, and THE FLASH executive producers Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg, Phil Klemmer, and Wendy Mericle, THEIR TIME IS NOW introduces viewers to the immortal madman Vandal Savage, the time master Rip Hunter, and the motley band of heroes and rogues he assembles to try to save the future of humanity: Hawkman, Hawkgirl, White Canary, The Atom, Firestorm, Captain Cold, and Heat Wave. Mod Note: we'll allow references to any TV canon that the special misses but please, in general stick to the topic of the "episode". - MarkHB and scarynikki12 Link to comment
BkWurm1 January 19, 2016 Share January 19, 2016 (edited) A half hour is going to go by very quickly. I wonder just how much info they can include. I don't expect to see much more than an accumulation of the clips and bits we've already seen with some interviews interspersed. Edited January 19, 2016 by BkWurm1 Link to comment
BkWurm1 January 20, 2016 Share January 20, 2016 The preview made the show look pretty good. Link to comment
MarkHB January 20, 2016 Author Share January 20, 2016 Yeah; it was pretty much what I expected - an info dump / commercial - but it did a good job of setting expectations for what they're trying to do with the show. Link to comment
Delphi January 20, 2016 Share January 20, 2016 So was this worth watching or could I just wait for the pilot on Thursday? Link to comment
tarotx January 20, 2016 Share January 20, 2016 For the show-just watch the pilot. The special was interesting seeing all tptb giddy with fanboy excitement. Both DC specials had fanboy excitement going for it. 1 Link to comment
Sakura12 January 20, 2016 Share January 20, 2016 I'd just watch the pilot. It was a lot of the same things we already knew and saw in the hundreds of promos. Although I'm a little upset to find out that Sara's being used for her killing skills and not to be a hero in the light. Link to comment
tarotx January 20, 2016 Share January 20, 2016 Concerning Sara I knew Rip was lying from the start. You don't have someone like Sara join a superpower group if not for her blood lust and assassin skills. It does make me sad for her. Link to comment
Sakura12 January 20, 2016 Share January 20, 2016 I suppose that's why Rip is taking Sara on so many solo missions, he wants her to kill and doesn't want the rest of the team to know about it. 1 Link to comment
