First I'll say I'm always on this forum reading and never have felt the need to post because somebody is always saying what I'm thinking so no need to add my commentary.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I haven't heard anybody say that perhaps we're giving Robyn too much credit. I just really don't think she's some genius of manipulation. The dumb ass just fell into a situation with a bunch of other dumb asses. It doesn't take much to get your way with a man who's been aching for some strange for the last 20 years. He's in love with her for the time being because she's new. Maybe HE came up with the whole divorcing Meri ordeal. Same reason why a man chooses to divorce his wife or vice versa on a daily basis everywhere on earth. He's sick of Meri and she's not that nice anyway. The kids are just an excuse for Kody to marry who he wants to be married to obviously, but Robyn didn't come up with a master plan. She's not that smart and frankly I can't see her being such a seductress that she can pull all the strings. Meri is just extra dumb for falling for this without some alimony.

Robyn is no master of manipulation. She's not calculating. She's just all over Kody's dick. Simple as that. And the chips fall where they may.

 

 I don't know how "extra-dumb" Meri is to get out from under whatever common debts kody is racking up, or has already accrued, and keeping her nut of the TV money separate from his- seeing as though this is probably the most money they have seen coming in since like ever- that is if she does keep it separate- one would think she would have the sense to now- she might actually be either able to pay off her mcmansion. She needs to purge him from all paperwork stuff he is on, she should have made the deal that he would come off the deed if she divorced him, who knows, maybe he isn't even on it anyway.

 

I wouldn't hold my breath for any big whoop alimony from that guy. After the show ends, he's back to hustling ads or vitamin juice or some other bs. He's more of a liability than an asset legally tied to him. People were posting about pensions and social security but I would bet he hasn't accrued very much there either.

Oh but I do agree with you re robin- he was just all over it as he likes the fawning adulation. That will get old too, just ask Christine how well the soft voice and the ass-kissing works.

No surprise there. It's just not natural to want to willingly share and offer a man you love to another woman. If it was just arranged marriages with no love, whatever, but that isn't the case here.

 

Not shocking that they all bicker and bitch at each other, either. That's far more realistic than perfect harmony, especially when feelings are hurt and Kody shows obvious favoritism. 

 

Basically, Meri bit off more than she bargained for with supporting the Robyn inclusion, and Robyn had no qualms about taking - literally, spiritually, and legally - another woman's husband. They're all a huge, selfish, broke ass, train wreck and deserve whatever drama they thrust upon themselves. Sad that 20 kids are sucked into this, but I have no sympathy for the adults.

Even though Robyn grew up in polygamy, she never lived polygamy as a wife; two VERY different things. She has always had a monogamous relationship. I think she went into the marriage with Kody with the intent to make him her legal spouse and to make her marriage as monogamous as possible. The only things she wanted out of the other sister wives were free babysitters and free help in her fly-by-night business ideas on HER reality show (I can hear Kody now, scheming on their little dates back in St. George, "We need this marriage to get the reality show. Here's an interesting article about Robyn's true feelings about Meri. I wonder if it's true.

I think all of us go through times where the people that we are close to and live closely with drive us crazy. And we vent to someone we trust. If the story of these "private messages" is true, I certainly don't think it is cool that someone shared them with the world. I am guessing that the person who probably sold these messages to the highest bidder was that friend of Robyn's who seemed to suddenly be on the outs with her. I can't remember her name.

Although it is not terribly smart to leave a paper trail of ugly comments for someone to find, I think this kind of venting is really common and I am not shocked by it at all. I have more of a problem with the person that went running to the media with these than I do with Robyn, even though she is my least favorite wife.
