Meri Brown and her Wet Bar of Tears

I'm glad someone finally figured out what she was going to her face.  It was driving me crazy! I was starting to think she had a botched eye lift or something.

Meri is built like a box.  Janelle may be larger but appears firmer in the flesh, even the contours that shouldn't be there, like her belly.  Meri has no muscle tone at all and has a slackness about her, starting with the face and working it's way down her body.

I never get that far, I can't get past the orange makeup, the bad eyebrows and her nose.  Her face is huge.  I notice everytime she says anything she follows it that dumb laugh.  She annoys me

The previous owner probably left the stuff; I think the place came furnished & tchotchked.

no kidding. I just watched the episode where the former owner turns over the keys to Meri and her Mom.  She then proceeds to get into her large expensive SUV, and I couldn't help thinking she was Laughing all the way to the bank.  Does anyone know what the selling price was?

I also was thinking, It was great Meri was able to secure the loan on her own, but how fair is i that Meri gets to earn her own money, while the family paid for Mariah's overpriced college education  (she could not go to UNLV or stay in state like Logan and Aspyn).  It seems so unfair considering Meri had been overspending the family budget for years, with wet bars, french doors and that huge rental.

It's only on the episodes that we see the real Meri.  On her Instagram posts, she plays "fun with filters", producing a face and body that is nothing like the real Meri.

I find a lot of insecure people punctuate their sentences with an inappropriate giggle at the end.

Meri's laugh at the end of anythingk she says annoys the crap out of me.  I think you are right about the insecurity thingk, Sandy.  And the faces she makes after a statement are just stupid.

In the episode that aired last night, both Meri and Robyn had overdone and exaggerated eyebrows.  Too dark, for one thingk.  I didn't rilly pay attention to Christine or Janelle.  It seems like Robyn and Meri get most of the talking heads, and I don't like that, either.

Whoa there, Meri!  Wowsa!  You be rockin' those jeans!  Your legs are so skinny - what's your secret?  Lunges?  Running?  Yoga?  Dang girl you got it all going on!

And ANOTHER Disney trip??  Someone please tell me, what is the draw for her to Disney?  I'm sure it's a lovely place but after visiting it 78 times, what is there that she hasn't seen already?  Does she continue to visit her and "Sam's" special spot where they were supposed to meet but didn't because JO met up with her instead because "Sam" was "sick?"

I don't have any answers for you, but I must confess that I also wondered WHY Disneyland.. over and over and over.  Then I thought that maybe LulaRoe is sending their top sellers there as a reward or something like that.  Wasn't this family there just a short while ago?

And those who run into her in real life are like, "WHOA did you just eat an entire elephant? How'd you gain 70 lb so quickly?"

Dumb ass Meri and her filters. We know she doesn't exercise with regularity or eat well because she'd tell us (and it would show without photo editing).

This one in particular looks ridiculous.  Her legs look like twigs.  She legit looks 50+ pounds lighter.  I mean, come on.  Even Blair Michael isn't fooled.

Well yeah.... because he hugs her when they meet and he knows that his arms only reach half-way around her body.

At first glance, I thought her shirt said "Love Mare" and thought, "How tacky that she calls herself that." But OHHHHH...it says Love MORE. Eh, still not any better.

I thought that style of jeans went OUT of style years ago.  Not very practical when you live where it snows and it's cold.  Not that cute either, IMO.

Agree.  I’m 49, I wore those in the 90s.  No thanks anymore. It screams of “trying too hard to be 24 again.”
ETA it’s a weird phenomenon in some women my age. Blinged out, torn everything.  6 layers of foundation and drawn on eyebrows.

Skinny jeans with holes? They never really went out of fashion, but were overtaken by those horrific high waisted pants, which did thankfully go out of style this past summer. You can finally buy low cut jeans again after 3 years of high waisted terror. I blame the Kardashians, surgical ass enhancement and the obesity epidemic for that mini-era of pants that go up to a normally proportioned woman’s armpits.

I graduated from torn jeans in my 30s--I still wear blingy ones (Rock Revival is my absolute favorite). lt's a thing in New Mexico, you don't want to take bling jeans away from us 😂

I was thrilled when I saw low-rise was coming back. "High waisted terror", totally agree. Low rise has always looked best on me and when I can find them, I stock up!

Same! My favorite brand, Even Sewn, went out of business so I’m back in Diesel, which fit almost as well, but unfortunately still have more elastic in the material than is at all necessary. I would really like to see more than just one random boyfriend jean cut per brand be actual denim instead of basically elasticized maternity wear. And for waist sizes to be measured in inches that correspond to actual inches, rather than vanity make believe sizing. The only people high waisted pants look good on are those with unusually outsized asses. They give everyone else, even the fittest women on the planet, the appearance of bulging FUPAs. I’m also completely out of patience with women’s clothing having no, faux and unusuably sized pockets.

Meri should have been wearing that hat in the Beverly Hillbillies photo of Kootie and the Wives.

I am high-waisted with wide hips, so low-rise jeans always looked and felt like they were falling down, so high-waisted ones feel and fit me better. Both should be "in style" depending on your body type. And I agree about the lack of proper pockets and too much stretch/polyester.  I don't like clothes (or soft sheets) that retain moisture.

No doubt, this won't faze Meri one bit, in fact it will reinforce her delusions because she can afford (quite frequently) to go where the elite meet.

Disneyland on Tuesday announced it would, once again, raise ticket prices for its parks and attractions, pushing past the $200 mark for some one- and two-day passes for the first time.

The park also announced a new tier system that operates according to peak days and seasons. On non-peak days, a one-day, one-park ticket will remain at the standard $104 price, but on weekends or holidays, which are typically busier days for the parks, patrons will have to pay up to 5 percent more with prices ranging from $114 to $154.

Park-hopper tickets, on the other hand, will cost up to $209. These passes allow guests to visit both Disneyland Park and the neighboring California Adventure Park. For multiday tickets, prices will range from $235 for a two-day pass to $415 for a five-day pass.

In fact a couple of the rooms are weird... The loveseat with the desk behind it against the wall looks dumb.

There’s more pictures of HIM than there are of his rooms. Yeahhhh....not impressed.

Disney World is awesome. Makes Disneyland look like a street-side puppet show.

But if you live on the west coast, Disneyland is so much closer!  When you have a lot of kids, flying to Florida is pretty pricey when you can drive to California.

Yeah, I can understand that. We went when we lived in Vegas--it was only a 4 hour drive. It just seemed so.......SMALL and the lines were too long for what you pay in admission; I paid a bunch of money to wait in long lines. No thanks! Doesn't happen as much at Disney World.

As far as Meri goes, It's still a day's drive from Flagstaff (or Utah or wherever she is) to Disneyland. She doesn't have kids to haul. Disney World would be SO much better.

I agree, that room would look so much better if she removed the 1990's wallpaper/border and threw away all the flea market decor.

If she's determined to have wallpaper make sure it's period appropriate with vintage wallpaper reproductions.

If it was my place I'd remove the wallpaper and paint all the rooms a soft white then bring in color, texture and patterns with fabrics and upholstery..... It would look so much more luxurious and inviting.... and quit promoting black towels, polyester sheets and open bowls of snack food. 🙄

The patterned borders and striped paper are jarring.  Possibly left over from prior owner who appears to have scavenged them from the discontinued bins at the local paint shop.

And just what are those "wings" that appear at the top of the fireplace breast.  They are too thin to be structural and they do not enhance the look with one being angled and the other squared off, then someone drew attention to them by slapping on leftover pieces of the border wallpaper.

The peach-y colored velvet chair does not sit well with the burgundy toss cushions on the bed and that antimacassar crocheted doily on the back of the chair would just be a damn nuisance to anyone sitting there.

Us COL should invade the place for a weekend and do a makeover, while we are there, we could maybe work on Meri's makeup, concentrating on those eyebrows.

I think the "wings" are symmetrical - this is just a weird angle.  And honestly, I don't blame her for not spending a fortune to completely redecorate at this point.  From the look of it, things are well maintained - clean and not too beat up.  And do we really think people will start flocking to Parawan simply because the rooms have been redecorated - particularly since no one really knew what they looked like before?  Keeping things as they are is actually one of the more sensible decisions she's made.

Don't get me wrong, because it's tough to work when you are older - but they hire out ALL of the work - don't they?  I know someone said people in the town do the cooking/cleaning/laundry?  Meri takes the oodles of pictures and posts them... so what is left?

I guess Bonnie meets and greets and escorts the guests to their rooms.

If they had stuck with Annie, the first choice, she could have generated additional income with her handbags and aprons.  Probably a more desirable souvenir than the slate coasters.

The fireplace is a hot mess, nothing in proportion, the mantle is way too skinny and the millwork is glued on... It would look better without the ornamentation... More flea market decor.

They should have looked at pics of farmhouse fireplaces from the late 1890's and early 1900's and done something similar.

JMO but I think the former owner was doing cartwheels and handstands all the way to the bank.... Someone on reddit said she'd been trying to sell that place for a while, don't know if that's true but I wouldn't be surprised if it was.

‘Marco Polo with my BFF’?? She has the emotional maturity of a tween girl. It’s pathetic.

More insinuating she has a boyfriend for attention, with this whole post and this puke-worthy comment interaction below - it’s obviously her BFF Blair Michael she Marco polo’ed. If they were legitimately  friends and not just using each other for various publicity reasons, they’d pick up a phone and chat in private and have no reason to constantly reference each other on social media like teenagers.
