I'm not sure how I feel about Halle Berry's hair.  On one hand, I am glad to see a curly girl rock her curls.  I HATE that so many black women feel they need to put shit like lye or have hair weaves to be acceptable.  But on the other hand, she looks like she's wearing a hat or a wig.

I liked Hailee Steinfeld's dress. It is very pretty.

Viola looks great. Glad they mentioned that she has a Tony for the same role, because I think that is kind of cool.

I liked when he cut it short on (I think) the last season of American Idol.  He's such a nice looking guy without the long, lank, freaky striped locks.

I think their red carpet coverage ended at 7:30 and they are just on fashion coverage now.

I'm looking at red carpet pictures from the NYT bc I can't stand the chatter in tv. Emma Stone's dress looks gold to me. I like it. Nicole Kidman's is too pale for her. Same with Felicity Jones.

Viola Davis for the win - if only because her dress was not pale and washed out.  I don't understand why most of these women are afraid of wearing a brighter color.  I'd love to see someone in magenta, or plum, or cranberry red.  I keep seeing someone in the background wearing the most amazing shade of blue.  Must not be a nominee, since they haven't been interviewed.
