I've seen a lot of pics of Cole on Twitter, so I knew he was hot. But then he opened his mouth on my TV and a purse came out. I'm not saying he's effeminate (not that there's anything wrong with that), I just expected him to have a deeper voice.

yes! I noticed that too.  His voice doesn't match his face.

I could have sworn I read a story about Javi too, so I double checked:

Did someone actually imply that Javi's lips were perfect??

What?? How did I miss this? I mean, don't get me wrong, that's not something I need to see, but how did I miss all the mocking those photos must have inspired?

I can't remember which episode  but one of those lovely lingerie photos was featured above their bed... I'd look for it but my mind still hasn't recovered.

I don't remember this story at all. Geez. My memory is slowly fading away.

Sure, Kail. You don't care about Javi at a strip club. I bet as soon as she beat the crap outta him, she then went and got back at him by going out with her girlfriends. And, seeking out any guy who would text her.

I'm going to out myself as a Javi fan (physically--his personality is almost as bad as Kail's). Yeah, yeah, his lips don't close, but I'm a sucker for perfect skin and his lips are nicely shaped. Physically, he's a major upgrade from ol' Liver Lips, who wasn't a nice boyfriend to Kail either.

Ha. I can't.....

I know!!! I guess if not being able to close your mouth makes your lips perfect....  Ugh

Yep! I knew I had read Javi went to the strip club.

Leah appeared high right from the second she was on screen. Like prescription drug abuse isn't a thing. And, due to the fact she has never had to actually do much to EARN money I feel like she will keep thinking that men working many hours to support her ass and the kids are "choosing" work over her. I have a friend kind of like this and can't stand to listen to her complain about being at home (when she is a stay at home mom, by choice, like Leah) by herself and how her husband is working too much and not there enough because of that, blah, blah. Get a job and help with the bills and maybe he could work less, Leah? Not that Leah has any skills so.. I also don't blame Jeremy for cheating. Knowing how this all turns out is actually making watching it go down more interesting for once. Ali is such a cute girl. Aleeeeeah looks like Leah. And Addalynn is...well, hope she has a nice personality. Leah's hair is horrific. Leah's whole style is horrific! Leah's whole life is...you get it.

I've always like Javi but he was acting like a huge douche. I would assume because he has gotten much shit from people for seemingly being a "wuss" and controlled by Kailyn in previous episodes. I was kinda impressed with how Kailyn handled it, I feel like she has matured some and become a bit more level headed (for her) or at least as the self-awareness to try and be on camera.

Jenelle looked so high when she was talking about taking Barb to court to "get Jace back" (bitch, you NEVER really "had" him to get him "back"). I HATE(hate)HATE Nathan and always have. He is creepy. And fugly. Very. Sorry, Kaiser looks just like him.

Glad Chelsea seems to have found a decent guy. He seems a bit "simple" and nice...like her, so, great. Her house looks nice. Adam continues to be a complete horror show, the less said about him the better. I think Aubrey will probably be a brat very soon, if she isn't already. It seems like they indulge her frequently.

Totally agree with this. As time goes on, the pool of eligible bachelors with no kids will steadily shrink, and Leah will become someone's stepmother. (I think her new boyfriend has kids, so this might have already begun) she already has a hard time when she has to share her man with a job, but if she has to share him with kids that aren't hers? No way.

Oh no. I hadn't even thought about that but you're right - odds are good Leah will be someone's stepparent one day. Poor kid(s).

Leah, where does one even start with her?

And why does she look 45? What was with that blue top straight out of Dynasty? Or that fringed sleeve shirt that looks like something Tanya Tucker would have worn in the 70's?

My "favorite" Leah hairdo was the Theresa Caputo impersonator look (she posted it on social media; maybe it will show up this season). All she needed was an upgrade of her press-on nails to Freddy Krueger size.

I just finished Leah's 16 and Pregnant episode. When Corey found out Leah was pregnant, he took a second evening job in order to save up money for an apartment for them and baby expenses. He also sold his truck and bought something cheaper so they'd have more cash. Leah sat around the first half of her pregnancy and bitched that Corey wasn't working hard enough to find them a place to live. When Corey responds that he's working a full time job plus an evening job, and therefore doesn't have time to call around for apartments, much less tour them, Leah just gives him bitchface.  Now, she was put on bedrest at 27 weeks, so I'll give her a pass for not working at that point, but she certainly had enough time/energy the first 6 months to run around town making duckface selfies with her friends and straightening her bangs. My conclusion here is that Leah has long been a pretty worthless adult.

I understood what the poster meant. It is called tit-for-tat or blow for blow. Repayment in kind for an injury. Jenelle becomes upset for whatever perceived slight, and decides it is time to hurt her mother by threatening to go to court to get Jace back. How long has she been threatening that now? Four seasons? It is Jenelle's tit-for-tat to Barb and it is all she has to do to hurt her mother because Jenelle knows the words hurt Barb and she succeeds, in her mind, that she has returned what she felt she had received.  The sad thing there is, Barb just doesn't comprehend what Jenelle is doing. Barb should call her bluff and tell her, "Fine by me. Let's go to court together and do this."

Except the difference is that Barb actually has legal rights to Jace, and Javi doesn't.  Also Jace fears Kaiser and the only home he's ever known is Barb's house.   So that threat is a lot more serious than asking that Kail changes her plans to take care of the 6 hour car ride.   Jace living with Jenelle could be a recipe for disaster.   On top of the fact that Jenelle doesn't even want Jace and probably won't follow through.   Javi was serious when he said he wouldn't do it.

Back to Javi. He discovered his wife received a text message on his wife's phone, felt his wife was doing something to him behind his back. His reaction is to play tit-for-tat because, in his mind, she wasn't going to get away with whatever game he thought she was playing on him. A very common thing that occurs in relationships.

Call it tit for tat, but it is also reasonable consequences.   He's doing her a favor by making the 6 hour ride. He doesn't have a kid that requires that kind of thing and he has every right to decide for himself whether he wants to do it.

But this is Javi and Kail we are talking about.   They don't have a mature healthy blended family, and they never have judging from what we have seen on the show.   And they are mentioning divorce.   I agree with you that Javi should just end it.   He should have done that a long time ago.

So, any opinions by others here about how it could have been handled or should have been handled, is moot? Of course these two immature beasts have an unhealthy marriage, that doesn't stop anyone from putting in their two cents on how Javi could have handled the situation better.

QUOTE

lol wut?  Where did I say anyone else's opinion is moot?    I don't know where you're pulling that out of but I have an idea.

But, it has been decided between Kail and Javi. Going by interviews these two have given, and what has happened on the show,  Javi has accepted many responsibilities as far as Isaac is concerned. I think this is why there is so much negative feedback about how he handled the situation with picking up Isaac. I have come to learn that Javi will say and do some questionable things. I sure didn't expect him to sink to the level that he did when he threw it in Kail's face that he would go back on his promise to pick up Isaac.

So?   Javi is allowed to change his mind.   This is exactly my point.    Javi is so involved because Kail pushed the relationship.   Now that it's on the rocks he is not so gung ho to play daddy to Isaac, who doesn't even need Javi to do that because he has a father.

I am amazed at the idea that a parent or step-parent picking up a child from school, is perceived to be a "job" instead of a partner or spouse who is helping to share the responsibilities of the one household. Javi is not being asked to pick up the next door neighbor's kid.

Coming from a home where my siblings and I had a step-parent, I can easily remember the feeling that we were not different or treated different. We were never treated with disdain or with any kind of feeling that we were just step-children. One of my parents died and the other married a few years later. The apprehension and fears I felt at first, were quickly replaced with happiness and love that was given to me by my step-parent. I never heard any disagreements about who should pick us up from school, who should take a day off from work to take me one of us to the doctor, who should help us with our homework. Bottom line, we were never used as pawns in some shitty argument. Never.

Yay.   But you do realize that lots of step families break up and the step parent ends up not even seeing the stepkid anymore.   Javi will have pretty much nothing to do with Isaac when him and Kail divorce, which is probably going to happen at some point.

I decided to ask one of the therapists at my job what her input is on this scenario.

lmao.

You know, I didn't think of that, but maybe you are onto something. Maybe Javi's insecurities aren't just about Kail possibly messing with other dudes, but also about being perceived as a doormat. Perhaps part of his hissy fit was about looking like "the man".

The thing that pissed me off the most about Kail was her comment to her baby daddy that she "doesn't want him moving into her backyard". Because its great for a small child to have to sit in a car for THREE HOURS to see his dad. And she wants to adjust the custody because she doesn't want to drive it, but she doesn't want him TOO close. Kail is extremely controlling. And she talks to Javi like he's a child. While asking him to handle her custody transfer so she can get to a concert.

I am sitting here like the cat who swallowed the canary just picturing what Kail's life will be like when she is on her own again as she has to drive Isaac to Jo's and Lincoln to Javi's place, trying to do her homework with no one around to watch the kids, or when she is at her job. I am having a case of the giggles here.

That friend of Kail's, Sterling? Geez. Naming your kids horrible names is not a recent trend.

The problem with Javi is, he should not have married a person who was shown to be a cheater, and admitted to being a cheater. Kail cannot change her past but, if Javi has an issue with her having male friends, and he has insecurity issues as a whole, he had no business marrying her. We are talking about Javi and Kail here. I don't expect either of these two to know how to be adults. Sure, in general people shouldn't hold the past against someone but, this is Javi we are speaking about and he did marry Kail. He sure didn't have the sense to NOT marry her even after she abused him.

Yep. He knew what he was getting and married it anyway. Call him Jermy-Lynn Javi. :)

I was really pissed when Delta Dawn was pontificating to Leah on the way to family court about how it shouldn't be about hurting your ex, it should be about caring about what's best for your kids.

OK, Dawn, people smarter than you have had difficulty accepting that their kids have addictions, so I will cut you a little slack and assume you honestly believe Leah is the best caregiver for your grandkids. But to even hint that Corey is doing this to spite Leah is ridiculous and incredibly insulting to Corey.

Exactly what, Dawn, would make you assume that Corey had anything less than the girls' best interests at heart? When he and Leah moved in together and Corey supported them because YOU didn't have room for Leah and the twins in your trailer? Or when Corey moved out but continued to pay the rent for Leah and the twins because the girls still needed a place to live and a full time caregiver and it wasn't their fault Leah was an ungrateful bitch?

Or when he refused to say anything bad about Leah after their divorce even though Leah was slinging mud with the best of them? Or when he let Leah have her pick of the appliances when they moved out because she had the girls? Or any of the thousands of times he's offered to help Leah by taking the girls on her time so she can have a break? Really, Dawn, what has Corey ever done that suggests he's at all vindictive towards Leah? Oh yeah, nothing.

You have to remember, Dawn is just an older version of Leah.  She had Leah when she was 16 and Leah seems to be following her exact same path.  You're basically looking at Leah in 20 years (except Leah will likely have about 10 kids by that point.)  i'm not surprised in the least at the way she acts.  It certainly explains a lot about Leah.

I thought he seemed like a nice guy, too, and is definitely a far cry from the sleaze bag and prematurely aging baby daddy. I did a little google just now and learned that Cole has a college degree and is a traffic control specialist. They'd also been dating a year when they decided to move in together.

I know Kailyn is a shady bitch but Javi was acting like a little bitch. He agreed to pick up the kid and should have just kept his word and argued with his cow of a wife later or stood up and said i'm going to pick him up because i already agreed to and I don't want to ruin your friends' weekend but don't dare come at me like that again. All that bit about phones and passwords was a really bad look. He needs to man up.

Goggles (I've missed writing and reading that word) and Grace with the pencils? OMG. That was some scary shit and then Goggles chucked that little pink box straight in Adderal's direction? I wanted to laugh because it looked like she actually caught it but poor thing could have been hurt. No wonder she's banging her head in that crazy family.

I too have missed Goggles. I think some people think it's a hateful nickname, but Ali was adorable in her goggles, and frankly, she's the only worthwhile member of that household. Who can forget when she picked up the lunchable her mom gave her and said "This isn't food."

Did you also go to school with a girl named Peach?

I have no idea if this is right, but I feel like I read somewhere that Peach's real name is Christina. I don't know what Sterling's excuse is.

Also, if I was going to be associated with this madness, I would probably want to use an alias too. So if 5 years when this is all done, Peach wants to get a real job, her boss doesn't google her (real name) and see that she was featured on Teen Mom. I realize that wouldn't be a problem for a lot of employers and there are other ways of finding these things out. But I can appreciate it if she's looking for some anonymity.

Just gonna post this and not give two shits how it comes off. I have no fucks to give.

If the name Sterling is going to be some female's name, she at least better look like she is worthy of that name. I conjure up images of a tall, slender girl, dressing in a chic style, not the hot mess that was shown on the show. She is almost like Kail's twin except Kail is godzilla in height compared to Sterling. Sterling was short and pudgy. As for her face? Um, no words.

No, it's not, although I like the name Sterling. There was a girl at a New England prep school I attended who was named Sterling and this was decades ago.

And, yeah, Kailyn is in for a huge reality check because I don't see that marriage with Javi lasting at all. She''s turning him into the worst version of himself and the Navy may kick him out after watching the episodes because his lack of balls. haha!

Yeah, I remember there being a big to-do about it either her or on TWOP and us having to defend calling her Goggles, but it's all in love and also, that's what her glasses looked like. The world has grown too politically correct. Anyway, we prevailed. I wrote what I wrote because I'd just read a post that used this term of endearment and I thought, ah, I'd almost forgotten about that name. How lovely to see it again.

Seeing her pitch that pink box at Adderal last week, however, is a whole other story.

I've always thought of "Sterling" as a male name. (NASCAR driver Sterling Marlin was born in 1957). It seems to have become more of a female name, though. I also have friends with a dog named Sterling. She almost named her son that, 15 years ago.

I think it's almost mainstream now. Well, in my area, at least. (It's the South.) I think I remember reading Peach is a nickname, as well.

Funny you say this but I was just about to jump in and say I like the name Sterling, but that's possibly because I went to law school with a guy named Sterling and he was possibly one of the most beautiful creatures to walk the earth. (The problem was, he was very aware of, and not shy about, said beauty. Add in the ego of your typical law student, and, well...) He probably could have been named Poopmaster Buttcheeks and gotten away with it.

This Sterling? Not so much. Perhaps with the right attitude she could have pulled off a cool name, but from our brief views of her, she didn't even have the personality to be a Sterling. Then again, do Leah's kids look like they have the personality of a Grace, a Faith, and a whatever the hell other religious name Leah stuck her other kid with?

Sad but true. Some names require more beauty and/or charisma to carry them. I think Sterling is one of them.

Ali-girl's middle name is Hope, and I always thought hers was kind of fitting.

Aderall's middle name is Faith. That one kind of makes sense. Addy needs to have faith that someday her dad won't be a douche and her mom won't be a skanky drug addict.

Then there's Aleeah Grace...I guess she was graceful the way she hunted down that cat?

Thanks to reading this post earlier, I busted out laughing at homely, chubby Sterling wearing the world's ugliest outfit, stuffing her face with a gross greasy, cheesy, meat filled, overly carby fast food sandwich. The half of the sandwich she hadn't eaten surely met the daily cholesterol and sodium max for four. Sugar content for several days was met by the giant soda she washed the grease sandwich down with. I haven't come across old drapery or shower curtain fabric as ugly as the jacket she was wearing.

Speaking for myself, when I hear the name Sterling I only think of Roger Sterling and Mad Men, longingly. I really miss that show!

He really wasn't a bad guy, at least not to me. He acted like he was full of himself but for all I know he could have been sweet and humble. I didn't know him that well. In fact, once I didn't recognize him out at a bar one night, and he was offended I didn't know who he was. But from what I did know, he was smooth, sexy and quite gorgeous. That is a guy who can pull of Sterling. Kail's friend? No.

Sterling is a common name in my family going back several generations, but they've all been men. I'd never heard of a female Sterling until this.

Maybe Kailyn's friend's last name is Sterling, and her first name is something like Hildegard, or Gladys.
