chessiegal September 14 Share September 14 Nizoral anti-dandruff shampoo. The ad says it's "ten percent better". Period. That's it, ten percent better. Ten percent better than what? Not using it? Using another shampoo like Head & Shoulders? Makes no sense whatsoever. 3 Link to comment
Gharlane September 14 Share September 14 (edited) Whenever I see those "4Print for certain!" commercials, I always wonder if anyone really gets excited about receiving objects with your employer's name and logo on it. SweetieDarling October 17 Share October 17 This isn't about a specific commercial, but has anyone else noticed the soft-speak being used in commercials? sometimes mixed with vocal fry. The best examples I can think of are the Saatva mattresses, and the Jolie shower head, but other commercials use it too. It sounds like it's supposed to be soothing and comforting so, naturally, I find it annoying 2 2 Link to comment

The show used to open with a spinning sphere with the word "Jeopardy!" on it, spinning right to left, so the word would appear with the "J" first, not the "!". They got so many "corrections" to their globe, Alex had to explain at the beginning of one show that it's NOT a globe representing earth. It's just a rotating sphere. Leave it to J! watchers to know how the earth spins. 4 Link to comment

KWalkerInc October 22 Share October 22 Did the soccer team do something mean to this girl that prompted her to seek revenge by giving them shower water in disgusting dirty cups, or is she just weird? (And apparently everyone is supposed to want this car simply because it has lots of cup holders, at least according to the ad description.) 6 3 Link to comment
Browncoat October 22 Share October 22 The shower water doesn't bother me -- it's the same water that comes out of your kitchen faucet, after all -- but if she's not washing those cups before filling them with shower water, that's a problem! 4 Link to comment

Gharlane October 28 Share October 28 There's a new Comcast commercial in the therapist campaign with two parents bemoaning their son spending time with them instead of playing videogames on his slow connection. In fact, they're telling their friends he's going to college and he interrupts then to announce that he's decided to stay home. Ghost of TWOP Past October 29 Share October 29 There's an ad for a weight loss drug.
