Do you guys know about the YouTube channel Alt-Shift-X, which does in-depth analyses of many shows including -- now in season 2 -- episode-by-episode analyses of Westworld?  (They also cover Game of Thrones, with comparisons to the original books -- something I enjoy very much.)  With a show as twisty as Westworld I find their analyses very entertaining and they make for a nice complement to the viewer discussions I find here.  Here's the link to the analysis for the latest episode.

WW plot construction is great for the WW sub Reddit, where people can decrypt the easter eggs and all the little "narrative shenanigans" but maybe not so much for storytelling.

Sad, just saw this. Terrible, awful week for the whole community around Ventura County, Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village, Malibu and Calabasas.

They did film a lot of Westworld exteriors on the set that burned, I think most of the shots with characters in front of old Western buildings.

Pre-SDCC, Nolan and Joy have given us some of the first major hints about this season in an interview with EW, including some information about Aaron Paul's character, and that this season will be 'a bit less of a guessing game'.

If S3 comes is actually Maeve vs Dolores i might actually watch. If it's just a setup for a Maeve vs Dolores in S4 i might skip or just watch the Maeve parts. I have no interest in Dolores' story.

Discussing Film claims to have have an exclusive on Westworld having already been renewed for season 4.

Whilst their suggestion that season 4 will start filming later this year is clearly wrong - season three doesn't finish filming until October - they have apparently been correct regarding show renewals before.
