....when you are watching "Particle Fever" a documentary about the Higgs boson particle discovery in which it talks about multiverses, pocket universe and Higgs could be both the creator and the destroyer if it were bigger or smaller than it is and you start thinking...wait a minute...this is starting to sound a lot like s11....

Oh man, the idea of Helen Mirren and Jensen Ackles in a movie together is magical.

ETA: Actually, so is the idea of Jared and Jensen casually walking by as uncredited extras in the background of this "Winchester" movie. Heh.

Oh, and it is so, so wrong that I just imagined Helen Mirren with a cameo on Supernatural reprising her role as the "magic mirror" from The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. In my imaginings she is snarking at Crowley, because Rowena would entirely do something like that to Crowley by cursing a mirror of his.

"Mirren mirren on the wall..."

Because it was The Tonight Show she was on as the mirror, not Late Night.

When this song starts playing while at work and it takes you a minute to realize they weren't talking about Supernatural:

Oh the thoughts running through my head....

...you're watching Outlander and there is a young boy named Fergus and you think "oh, man that poor kid is so screwed and his mother is the literal worst" and you think 'Wait, did I just have sympathy for Crowley ???" and you begin to question all your life choices.

I was getting off of the cruise ship this morning. We disembarked in Vancouver. While I was walking through the casino, the TV was on and it was Supernatural. It was the scene when they were having a conversation with the caged alpha vamp. There was no sound, but I stopped to watch it anyway.

It had some good moments but I didn't think it was as strong. Jon Bernthal was terrific and I loved The Punisher. I also thought Karen was a much stronger character. Overall, decent but not fantastic like S1.

Awww! Pushing Daisies is a fav of mine...I might have to pull out my DVDs now!

BTW, I'm always working on a Supernatural rewatch. Just started S4 this morning.

It's kinda funny...I feel like I could watch it anytime and enjoy it (unless I'm in the seasons of my discontent aka 8/9 but even then there were eps I liked). I don't think I've had a show affect me like this since Buffy. Maybe Lost.

Interesting; those are the main two shows that I really got into as well. For a little bit I got into some others, but Buffy (and by extension Angel) and Supernatural are the two that I actually went on boards to really discuss.

My one other show I got into and discussed some - but in an entirely different way - was Project Runway. I hadn't really watched reality shows before, but somehow that one sucked me in from the very first episode and I can't seem to quit that show now, even though I entirely should.

I'm also a casual The Walking Dead poster, but I entirely play/have favorites on that show... and if they die, I'm probably gone, too whereas I'm with this show till the end - just like Buffy.

My first obsession was X-Files but I never went on line to discuss it. 24 was my first on line comment on TWoP, then LOST, BSG, Angel, Breaking Bad, Walking Dead,  Arrow and now SPN. I mean it seems like I've been an SPN gal from the get go but no, just 3 years into it now. Weird

My top 5 of all time: Buffy/Angel (I count them as one), The Wire, Breaking Bad, Lost, and now SPN. BSG is a close runner up. I could marathon any of those anytime. Funny that we all have similar tastes!

Yes The Wire! IMO still the best TV show ever created. Just incredible.

Funny, I never could get into Buffy. And, I enjoyed Lost but haven't ever considered rewatching it. But then again, I binged that one after it was off the air. I loved The X-files and have rewatched it a couple times--actually, I'm currently rewatching it right now--but only every couple years. Other shows I routinely rewatch: Firefly, Psych, Pushing Daisies, Dead Like Me and Carnivale, but none of them as frequently as I do Supernatural. It's funny, though, I kinda took a break from the rewatching for about a year and started again about a month ago, it feels like I just returned home from a very long trip. ;)

BTW, Alpha and Omega made me think of rewatching Carnivale again...that is one messed up creepy show. I highly recommend it.

... You see a tweet from Frontier Airlines and look to see if the squirrel on the tail is named Dean and then start looking for a Moose on a tail and hope it's named Sam.

You're playing Diablo 3.  One of the in-game characters (Zoltun Kulle, Act II) comments to you, "Angels are no better than demons", and you think to yourself "Oh, you have NO idea."

When Pandora plays Heat of the Moment on Tuesday morning and all you can think is "I do not have time for your crap today, Gabriel."  Then something slightly bad happens and you think "I mean it, Gabriel, do not try me."

Everytime I take the road to my Bay house I see signs in the opposite direction for "Ellicott City, MD" and I wonder if there really is a nunnery in the town, suitable for Lucifer to rise from upon desecration.

Actually did a little looking around, the convent was based on St. Mary's College in Ilchester, which was torn down in 2006.

Wikipedia article on it:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Mary's_College_(Ilchester)

And two sites with some pictures and other info:

Hee @SueB - look at this entry (which was one of the choices underneath the above) showing even more of the ruins of the college: http://www.atlasobscura.com/places/st-mary-s-college. Some of the photos in that peruse-through are creepy, especially the look at the gazebo / altar from the bottom of the stone stairs, the large stone staircase... and that pool. I'd actually be surprised if that was still there, because that looks like it could be a hazard - or at least a huge mosquito breeding ground!

And am I mistaken, or in that one photo of a stone slab with a rounded square cut out, did a LOST fan put a graffiti of the hatch symbol? If so: hee.
