I can see Tim being allowed to work for a privately owned entity like a care home, but I'm guessing working for companies like Purell or FedEx would be a big no-no.

I think you're right.  Maybe Hobby Lobby or Chick-fil-A.  If Timmy worked for FedEx, he might be delivering porno or have to step inside a Catholic church to make a delivery or otherwise be contaminated.

If a grown man tells a child that his shoulders are sore, that's completely inappropriate in and of itself.  It's asking the child to do something about it, and a child starved for any shred of love and attention is going to do whatever that adult leads him or her to do.  It's sickening.  You're totally right, if poor Pastor is having a tough day, he can whine about that to another adult (which is creepy enough as well, but at least it doesn't make me want to reach through the computer and smack him).  This is awful.  Those poor kids.  All of them.

Jill must have gotten a lot of pushback in her DMs about Gabriel (she never turns her comments on). I can't think of any other reason for her to take that post down.

I answered my own question, because if she was stupid enough to post it in the first place she clearly has no idea why everyone thinks such an "innocent" picture of a child offering a "blessing" to an adult is completely inappropriate.

I doubt that Gabriel offered, either - he was likely coached by his moronic mother.  And if he did offer, that just takes the entire scenario to an even darker place.

I could see Gabriel offering. In middle school and HS my peers and I gave each other shoulder massages regularly- always FULLY CLOTHED and consensually of course, so it’s something I can see teens doing (from a developmental level). And his sisters may have massaged each other’s shoulders regularly. 
 

But even my sheltered self knew if an unrelated adult asked for such a thing it would be creepy as fuck. 

I could see Gabriel offering in a purely innocent way, especially if he’s someone that’s into physical affection but I 100% blame the adult for not politely declining, his PARENTS for telling him that was kind but no (and then explaining privately later why not) and posting it on the internet for anyone to see.

If Jill took the post down, it is because she has been looking around the internet and discovered that others think it is highly inappropriate for a child to be massaging an adult.  I am sure she is telling all of her fundie fans about how the evil heathens have besmirched her poor son with the servant's heart and how our minds are all in the gutter from watching porno and leading dissolute lives.  She is using it to get martyr points.

Although Jill disables comments on her own posts, she clearly googles herself and looks to see what is being said about her on sites like this one.  We've seen too many follow up posts after she's been snarked on.

also creepy and weird from the pic of gabriel and the pastor. look at the tables. either gabriel was in the chair pushed close next to the pastor, with an empty plate also pushed close. or gabriel got up from the table behind and a full plate of food awaiting him to pose for this Jill created photo op. if the plate on the table behind was not gabriel"s plate, someone else did not want to be shown in that pic and left their food

It could just be a weird angle on the photo.  Newborns do have disproportionately large heads.

Tim is too old to need permission where to work, but then we don't live in Jill's authoritarian bubble, and he does. Best Mama apparently butted into and ruined his previous job. 

I wish he would just take off and find a job with some salary and benefits. His recording career is not going to go anywhere, and he is young and strong so he can find something. Succubus Mama will survive. She has plenty of backup. (Warning, Nathan and Nurie.)

She had dark hair when she got married. (Think I remember that correctly.) So most people who know her or have seen the wedding pictures know she has lightened her hair.

Even when we discussing Tim's hair color a while back, I was still going with it was dyed. A lot of posters brought up that there can be a natural blonde in a family of brunettes which is true & I know families like this.   But his just had that non-natural gold look to it.

I would actually not be surprised if Jill had any and all her kids give her shoulder massages. It might be one of the few things they can do, given that they don't have the means to buy Jill presents all the time, where she makes them feel validated, so it's probably not out of the question that they might offer a massage to another adult. Yeah, it's creepy on all sorts of levels, but the look on the pastor's face, to my eye, is rather indulgent, in a way that suggests that he is taking the gesture of a child in the spirit it was offered. Maybe I'm just being a bit Pollyanna-ish about it, but while it certainly can be something to raise all sorts of red flags, it also might just be one of those examples of tone-deafness. These people may see eeeeevil at every turn when it comes to the rest of the world, but if something is part of their little insular take on Christianity, everything is love and blessings, and it would never enter their minds to see it as anything but.

I may well be completely wrong, and I hate to cut Jill any slack in any case, but I can still hope that it's just a totally weird but fundamentally innocent thing.
