I am in Nevada, and masks are encouraged but not mandatory. The casinos are slowly reopening, and while masks are available for any guest who wants one, a disturbing number choose not to wear a mask.  

My son lives in California, and he has to wear a mask wherever he goes.  Businesses there can and will stop unmasked people from entering.  

Not sure how strict Ohio is these days, but the Rods are definitely in the no mask camp.  I guess they feel they are too special and blessed for the rules to apply to them.

Ohio says masks are optional, but encouraged for customers.  Employees working in businesses open to the public or where social distancing amongst employees is not possible, must wear masks.  Businesses are allowed to require their customers to wear masks, but the question is what to do about people who refuse to wear them.

My employer, major hospital system, says that everyone entering one of their facilities, inpatient or outpatient, has to have their temperature taken, answer questions about current health and wear a mask.  So, all of that stuff happens in the lobby and the patient then goes up to the doctor's offices.  All patients are to be alone, no family or friends, and we specifically ask no children be brought into the offices.  Exceptions made when a patient is disabled or is a minor, in which case someone can be with them.  We had a kerfluffle initially when multiple caregivers noticed that they were seeing patients, in standard 10x12 exam rooms, who were not wearing masks, and, when reminded to put on the mask they were handed in the lobby, refused to do so.  The question was whether we could refuse to see that person and end the appointment right then.  The answer: NOPE.  All patients must be seen, even those who refuse to wear masks.  So, suck it up, Buttercup.  But any employee caught maskless in the public portions of the office will be disciplined.  I saw 15 patients yesterday, 2 of whom, both young, healthy 20 somethings, declined to wear the mask when asked; one complaining that it was ugly and we should have 'cuter' ones available.  I also told one older lady with COPD that she could remove her mask when it seemed like she was having some trouble with her breathing.  She thanked me.

I could see them all coming to say goodbye to Nurie and Nathan (although those two won't be able to escape for very long), but to bring the entire hoard inside the airport to say goodbye to Nathan was nothing more than one of Jill's look-at-us photo ops. 

Being selfish, disrespectful, and annoying is not a good way to bring people to your religion, but it is an excellent way to give an empty narcissist much-needed attention.

Chelsy Bontrager Maxwell has a new blog post up on her blog Chelsy Renee. It's about Jesse Maxwell's wedding to Anna Craig. They drove all the way there. She saw her family or at least the women. At least one of her brothers was there according to social media. It wouldn't surprise me if all the living at home Bontragers went. No sign of her married brothers. No masks on anyone. Sarah Maxwell did a post on the Maxwell family blog, where they seem to think the pandemic is over! 🙄

Also Chelsy said she was 37 weeks at the wedding which was three weeks ago.

One of the most damning things to me about Nurie's weight is the collective thinness of ALL the Rod kids. Until they leave home like Tim did. He immediately gained weight and it would not surprise me if he loses now that he is home. I had a friend who was naturally very thin with q delicate frame and people assumed she had an eating disorder (she didn't), so if one of the Rod kids was just unusually thin, okay. It happens. (I'm on the opposite end because I inherited my dad's sturdy build and have shoulders and calves like a linebacker. I have stouter shoulders than most men and my calf muscles are bigger than their biceps. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Even when I was "skinny," I was 150 pounds at 5'4". According to a BMI chart, I was overweight but I wasn't. I'm severely overweight now but that's another story.) 

But all of them are that skinny? That's because they're being starved by their c*** mother and father.

I agree. If all the kids are naturally skinny then why is their mother shilling Plexus and Shrek look like Shrek. Genetics can be funny but for every single kid though, I have my doubts.

Bingo! My brother is a lot leaner naturally than I am, despite us both having the same dad. Genetics are weird, but they're not weird enough for so many kids to look like skeletons when neither of their parents do and, indeed, one of their parents looks like he ate a baker's dozen of children for breakfast.

I've mentioned this before - I've always been skinny. Didn't break 100lbs until pregnant. I'm 5'4". Folks often commented on my weight because I was skinny, but I was toned and healthy looking.

I went back to 99lbs - 100lbs after each pregnancy. I'm less active now, have gained a few pounds, but most would consider me skinny.

All this to say, the Rod kids look like they've been kept in an attic somewhere. They may be naturally skinny, but like another poster said (sorry can't remember), the kids don't look vibrant.

OWhat worries me is the dress she wore at her shower was or is thought to be the dress she bought at age 14 for her wedding.  It seemed to fit. Even if she is naturally thin it is odd that the dress fits. Now she may have bought it big...I don't know it just worries me she could fit in a dress she bought at age 14.

And you're right.  They've all got a sallow, hollow-eyed look.  Their skin looks ashen.  Except for the baby and Tim once he'd been away at school, they all look like they've got liver disease or some sort of chronic illness.

Now that doesn’t worry me so much. Plenty of 14 year old girls are at their adult height/shape, even girls that aren’t overweight or obese at all. I would think the smaller you are the more likely your dresses at 14 would fit you at 20.

Even though I've always been pretty zaftig, I could wear shirts I wore at 10 when I was 20. My ass made that impossible with pants. 🤣

That being said, it wouldn't surprise me if Nurie is eating even less than usual because of the wedding.

I finished growing and 'filling out' at around 16. My pants and shirt sizes are one size larger now, because I've gained a little and wear my clothes a tad looser.

So I would say it depends on if Nuri had boobs and hips back when she bought the dress. But I'm guessing they would buy a larger size thinking they can make it smaller easy enough.

Some of those kids have to have inherited Shrek's propensity to carry weight around the middle. If those kids are boys, they may have a wife like Best Mama who will make sure their genetic destiny comes to fruition. If they are girls, they'll probably need to drink gallons of Plexus to stay acceptably thin and pleasing (yuck).  

David needs have his blood sugar and heart checked.

Jesse Maxwell is living in an appartment in Kansas City with his bride!  All of the other Maxwells live in Leavensworth in a one mile radius. Jesse did own a house, but for some reason moved to Kansas City. I honestly don't know which one. His mother-in-law Laura Craig posted it on Instagram.  They had a shower for Jesse at the Maxwell's house with no social distancing and Sarah acts like it's over.

I also wouldn't be surprised if Jesse moved back. Hopefully they move even farther away.

If Timmy is courting he fetched half a cow for daddy to eat. Renee and Kaylee are probably for the same amount of beef. Can’t have daddy losing any weight!
