Oh, sounds like Jillybean's going through another "firey trial." 😂

I wish I could remember the name of Timbit's school. Are they already on Spring Break? Did coronavirus shut them down? Inquiring minds...

Travis' grandfather founded his "college." Or his uncle. The other one is the pastor of his church. I just can't recall which does what at the moment.

Tim's school is Fox Valley Technical College......Spring break there doesn't start till the 15th, according to their calendar......And i don't see anything on their website about them canceling classes or putting them online.....They just have stuff about canceling school-related international travel.....So....kinda odd that he's home.................Has he dropped out of another school already?

The college schedule for Travis Clark:

Breakfast is required, and is served in the Dining Area each morning 7:30 am to 8:00 am for all students, both on and off campus. Classes run daily from 8:15 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. College Chapel is held daily at 11:55 a.m.

That's it. Classes only in the morning.

Well, they're not even pretending to be a real bastion of education. The classes are laughable.

Has this guy been around for a while? We've heard about this school before, haven't we? It rings a faint bell in my mind?.....And that uncle/grandfather factoid you mentioned rings another bell?

WTF was that paragraph from Jill all about? "Dress, music, sin, alcohol, faithlessness, etc. etc. is all excused away as 'permissable'?? Bitch, yes, because those things are all legal in this country, thank goodness. The amount of hate they have for people who don't adhere to their beliefs is terrifying. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go drink some alcohol and dance along to music in tight pants.

Absolutely! Yet her orange idol spent many years hanging at Studio 54 and getting divorced 🤣.

Given the Timbits rant or pornography, this temptation rant from Jill and the fact timothy is home when his school seems to have no break, I suspect timothy got in trouble with temptation at school somehow

I'd hoped Timba could successfully break free, but I think it was probably asking too much of him to overcome a lifetime of brainwashing and poor education to hack it in the real world. I was going to say he was like Icarus and flew too close to the sun, but I seriously doubt he ever got into the air at any point in his missionary pilot training. I strongly suspect he never got past remedial math in the classroom. . . . *

*I say this as a homeschooler who tested very poorly on math initially as an incoming college freshman. I was fortunate-enough to have the framework and study skills to work with a free tutor at the local adult ed center to fill in the gaps of what I'd missed in math to score better on the ACT before I officially enrolled and avoid placement in remedial math. I know lots of intelligent people, both from homeschool and public school backgrounds, who needed remedial math or English and passed the class and did well in school. So, I'm not at all knocking the fact he almost certainly needed remedial courses. I just don't think he had the ability to work his way out of the class, and there's no way he's flying a plane if he can't do things like basic math.

More on Timbits' "birthday week." Or, I flunked out.

Yikes, so many scenarios going through my mind of what could have happened.

Tim would have known long before now that his grades sucked. JillR was tying his heart strings, planning the future, standing by him and honored by his choices.

Whatever it is, I'm guessing they'll blame the school again.

Ugh it just occurred to me. If Tim moves back home, he'll probably lose the weight he gained after leaving, though he totally denies gaining weight after moving out.

Timbits probably flunked out and Jill complained that no one at the community college told them that he had to pass his classes to continue just like no one at the missionary pilot Bible college he left last year ever told them that tuition would increase based on the amount of hands-on work with planes involved.  Despite the fact that missionary pilot Bible college had this spelled out on their website for all to see for years prior to Tim's enrollment.

Whatever his 'future plans', I hope that Timmy has given up on the idea of higher education as it is pretty clear he cannot cut it.  I presume in a week or two, Jill will announce that the Lord has lead Tim in a new direction and he is now going to devote himself to folding and stapling tracts from Daddy's printing press as his new 'career'.

Timbits has no experience in disaster relief. At least the Duggar boys did ALERT, for all the good that was. They can also operate heavy machinery, another skill Timbits lacks. IOW, even MedicCorps won't take him.

We can’t be sure he didn’t already take his finals early this week. My kids were recently in college and it seemed like their finals would happen on Monday and Tuesday. But we shall see in Tim’s case!

I suppose it is possible by some quirk of scheduling his finals would have all let him leave early without any effort on his part, but I would also be highly doubtful he'd be allowed to take his tests early just to go home for his birthday. When I was a TA and teaching comp, if a student had asked me to reschedule his final for his birthday trip, I would have laughed him out of my office. And I say that as a narcissistic Leo who is very much into birthday celebrations and isn't bothered by adults being excited about birthdays.

Combined with the weasel wording in those posts, I think Tim dropped out.

Where is Timbits' school? Is it possible it closed early or they are doing everything online now because of coronavirus?

Not that I think that's likely, I think his uneducated ass flunked out. Should we start taking bets on how Jill will spin this?

It's Fox Valley Technical College in Wisconsin. As of this morning, their website said nothing about any cancellations. As of now, however, the situation has changed.....but not in a way that would explain Tim's absence from there -- Here it is --

Thursday, March 12, 2020

UPDATE COVID-19 AND FVTC ACTIONS

Fox Valley Technical college has been closely monitoring the global spread of the COVID-19 virus and for the safety of our community have decided to take several actions:

Extend the college’s spring break by one week through March 29, 2020 (classes will be held as scheduled on March 12, 13 and 14)  [Spring break begins March 15. It's now two weeks long instead of one week long.]

Encourage alternative work options for faculty, staff, and students

Postpone any large college and community events with expected attendance of greater than 100

Spring Break Extension
In preparation for coursework resuming on March 30, we are informing students of the following:

The break in instruction is being extended by one week and students should not report to campus or be required to participate in any coursework during the extended break.

We will be monitoring the situation with regard to instruction and college operations and communicating as necessary.

All current online coursework will resume on March 30

Collaborate courses will resume on March 30

Hybrid courses (those with some online component) should resume as online coursework as of March 30

In person, lecture or classroom-based courses will be converted to online, where possible and will resume as of March 30

For those courses (lab-based, clinical, internships, etc.) which cannot be moved to an online format – we will be making a determination about in-person course delivery prior to the March 30 presumed resumption of coursework.

Campus Events and Services
As of now, campus buildings will remain open. Please call prior to your visit to ensure a staff member is available to assist you.

To promote social distancing and reduce possible spread of virus, we are postponing community and College events whose attendance is anticipated to be greater than 100 effective immediately. At present, this applies to all events scheduled before April 20, 2020.

We are also suspending campus-based food service effective the end of business Friday, March 13, 2020. At this time, we are planning for food service to resume on March 30.

At this time, the Parent Child Center will remain open.

Ongoing Communication
The situation is dynamic and changing quickly.   We’ve made a commitment to communicate as quickly as we are able.

Thanks for the Fox Valley Tech updated info, @Churchhoney. So Tim came home about a week before Spring Break, thus missing scheduled classes. If he's still enrolled.

It seems unlikely that he's still a student in good standing at that school.

IIRC when he first went there, Jill's posts on SM indicated that Tim had been helped by a group there of some kind of Christian missionary pilots. So, though Tim was enrolling in an ebil public school, he had that Christian group there to, I suppose, protect his soul against the depredations of Satan. Or something. And IIRC there was a post by or about Tim, where he got to go up in a small plane. Not sure if it was through school or that group. I wonder if that group reached their limit with helping him, or if they were ever as all into him as JillR's posts portrayed it.

We may never know what happened. He probably couldn't hack the coursework as @Zella and others have noted. I think it's also been mentioned that maybe there was some incident related to his bizarre outburst on SM a few weeks ago, about the evils of pornography.

Because, no, you don't get a "birthday week" off of school, especially just a few days before the whole school shuts down for spring break.

And, I'm with those who need help after I've read and tried to parse Jill's outbursts of Biblical word salad like the one above. She's howling like mad - but of course we have no idea what "Satanic" bad thing(s) are going on with her. It could be that she's not drawing her desired attendance for the womens gathering this weekend, or the evil hotel wants her to pay what the contract she signed says she owes them, or her pleas for contributions to support their family through that missionary clearinghouse haven't produced enough bucks.

She's vile, and delusional, and never stops playing the "I'm being PERSECUTED because I'M SO GODLY AND RIGHT WITH JESUS!" game.

It must be exhausting to deal with her. She probably gets a lot of what she wants by just never. letting. up. till people will do anything to get rid of her.

It's around a 9 hour drive if he didn't make any stops on the way. However, as others have noted, he has apparently skipped an entire week of classes going into the spring break.  I suppose he could be doing online courses that don't require his presence on campus, but I suspect his course load is mainly lower level subjects, those are usually less likely to be completely online.

Jill is too stupid to know that college students don't get their birthdays off to come home, so his birthday appearance is suspicious. Given Jill's recent outbursts, I think Tim's about to move into the boys' bunk room and toil away printing smiley faces with his siblings. I'm waiting to hear Jill's satanic spin because it's impossible that Tim's lackluster homeschooling could be at fault.
