I love Krieger so much. Totally him to strip down while watching Archer & Lana do it over the security cam. (Also: damn, FX got away with showing animated sex)

 

I like how Archer and Pam have pretty much bonded into best friends by now. It's kinda sweet.

You know, I loved everyone's outfits this week. Lana and Pam in french maid outfits, Cheryl as a realtor, and Archer looking like Bob Belcher in a butler suit.

"Damn, Gina" almost made me choke on my sandwich and Archer and Lana fighting then kissing almost made me choke on my soda.

 

Kreiger getting darted was brilliant.  Slater getting darted was cathartic.

 

The guards and the laxatives, along with the shots of them using the toilets, was Crossing the Line Twice and was fantastic! 

 

And no, Pam, Archer is your best friend.  Cheryl is your sidekick.

 

And, Cheryl, what other deadly things do you have in your mansion.

 

Again, I feel sorry for Ray.  He's turning into The Tin Woodsman - lose a limb, replace with metal.

 

Classic Archer and it felt good!  Best episode this season, I think.

Lana, Lana, Lana. It's like when I first watched Arrested Development, and I thought Michael was the normal one in the family. Now I know . . . he was as neurotic as the rest of the Bluths, it was just a matter of degree and covering it up. Lana makes some questionable life decisions, and she comes off as the sane one because the rest of the gang/cartel/what-have-you is much more upfront about it. Having sex with Archer? Ew. Ewwwwww. I mean, better him than Cyril, but it's still a bit gross.

 

Speaking of Cyril . . . if it wasn't for Jerry from Rick and Morty, he'd be the most pathetic character Chris Parnell plays. At least he managed to keep all of him limbs, though. Poor Ray. He's gonna be more machine than man at this rate.

 

It was a funny farce. Not a weak spot to be found. I daresay Christian Slater was born to play Slater. Who wouldn't go wild with a tranquilizer dart gun? And Cheryl was surprisingly lucid, yet she didn't lose her comedic edge.

Man, Ray really can't catch a break.  Now, he's lost a hand.  I wonder if Krieger will whip up a replacement for that.  Or, more importantly, would Ray actually want that because who knows what Krieger might do.

 

It was fun seeing the crew just on a mission, only having to deal with Slater (not Mr. Slater) as their boss.  Can't say I blame them: I mean when you plan involves Cheryl being the one to interact with the marks the most, you are really getting into the, well, danger zone.

 

Not surprised Archer and Lana hooked up again, but I was kind of surprised over how far they went with the sex scene.  I know it's nothing new for the show, but I don't remember the past ones being that risque.  But I did love it ending with Krieger watching them on one of his hidden cameras.

 

Loved the return of Tunt Manor.  Too bad we only got a Babou reference; I want to see him again.  And, I especially loved the return of Cheryl getting turned on by getting slap.  I love her crazy ass.

 

The stuff with Archer and Pam saying they were BFFs was actually kind of touching.

My favourite laugh was Ray re-enacting Jurassic Park/Dennis Nedry with the plant.

I didn't enjoy this as much as The Kanes, but it was nice to see a team caper and the tranq gun never got old. Cheryl was delightful in her enthusiasm for her realtor part, selling creepy features to her fellow rich people. And is Ray going to get sick of these fools and go all Bionic Barry? Who could blame him?

Loved Pam and Archer's BFF moment, that was fantastic. And I adored Cheryl as the fake realtor, she was spot on.

I'm not surprised to see Archer and Lana have sex, but I was kinda rooting for him to get his queen.

Just loved every minute.  Most gut-busting part was Lana appearing before the prince, followed by the creaking noise of him getting a boner.

 

But the whole episode was great.  I hope we see the super-entitled queen again soon.

As with Cyril's behavior; I was glad that it backfired on him and that Archer and Lana got back together (although, it looks like that the office gang is going to try to break them up). 

As, Pam was awesome just being Pam  and it was fun watching Cheryl/Carol pretending to be a realtor. Kreiger was awesome just because he was the one who placed all the cameras in Cheryl/Carol's bathrooms (which were a lot of cameras, btw).

 

As with Slater's plan, I was hoping that it would have worked out because I got worn out watching the gang failing over and over again last season. I was hoping that they completed the mission, while still jerking off, and got away with the ambassador (and the Queen) not knowing anything. 

 

And finally, Ray, my God, that was awesome seeing him killing that giant Venus fly trap (and I was waiting for it to talk and call itself "Audrey II"). As with his arm, I really think that he is on a slow track to becoming the next full Cyborg on the show.

This is more like it. An actual mission for them to work through! Great episode, and I'd say that even if the plot sucked, because I love Archer's version of a posh English accent, and Pam's isn't bad either.

 

Cheryl getting lost in the roleplay was predictable but funny, and the return of her sexual predilections was nice too. I liked that she was actually a part of the mission, rather than just hindering their efforts or cracking wise from the sidelines.

 

Archer and Lana took an interesting turn, but I can't say it wasn't coming. Obviously Lana's post-natal yoga is doing the trick, because we all heard him getting hard when he saw her. Those two really are perfectly suited to one another, because Lana is nowhere near as well adjusted and normal as she seems. And she does seem to really care for Archer, who does reciprocate (even if he only shows it in moments of real vulnerability).

 

Archer's newfound love for the tranq gun was great. I kind of hope he keeps using it at random intervals, on missions and even in the office. Best way ever to end an argument.

 

Glad Cyril's plotting backfired. Sad that Ray lost his hand, but hopefully Krieger can get him kitted out by next week.

Actually, I think they can because FX is cable and not network. I remember a while ago asking how SyFy will be able to air reruns of Spartacus, back in my TWOP days, and the replies were that they can because it's cable but it's really the advertisers that push for the standards, or something like that (my memory is a little hazy about the subject matter, but the point is that, yes FX can  do it and can get away with it if they want too, because the are cable).

I'm assuming Slater is using ISIS 'off books', giving the CIA plausible deniability. I mean, they're fresh off being a drug cartel. If they get caught, the US government isn't going to be on the hook for it. 

 

I was surprised and pleased with all the pussy and dick, and the fairly graphic sex scene. It's an adult show on cable at 10 pm. Lana and Archer are hot and fit and are usually in high risk situations. I'm surprised they aren't fucking more. Whether they like one another is irrelevant.
