I mean, you have a foster kid whose mom hasn't been allowed visitation and lives nearby, go missing for what, like part of a day, and then be returned unharmed? Surely the police would immediately think the birth mom was the most likely person to have done that? Yeah, that seems like a much more obvious step then canvasing stores looking for someone who might have sold a certain toy. And I still don't believe that owner would have remembered. Maybe she would have remembered Jude get away with shoplifting, but that's about it. 1 Link to comment
