Stassi is scheduled to be on WWHL tonight. I am sure she will give some half assed apology if she is even called on it.

I agree so much with what @RHJunkie and @HunterHunted have said. I also, hate that Stassi is using the free speech bit as some sort of excuse for all the hate directed at her. Yes, Stassi has the right to say whatever she wants, but others have the right to not like what she has said as well.

I was initially shocked to learn how many people don't understand what their constitutional right to freedom of speech means. At this point, I'm numbed to the fact that many people hide behind their 'rights' without actually know what their rights entail. Hopefully someone has since informed Stassi that the freedom of speech protects her from persecution from her government but it does not protect her from fellow private citizens who may have an opinion on her opinions. Freedom of speech is not a freedom from consequences and she's learning that the hard way.

I personally feel that we are living in a very PC society nowadays and while sometimes people reach in order to be offended about something, a lot of the times reactions are due to people who show very little consideration in how they represent their thoughts and I don't see that as a bad thing that people be accountable for how they express themselves. Maybe I could have given Stassi the benefit of the doubt if her only misstep was in some poor attempt to bring to light how unfortunate it is that women have to constantly over think and over analyze her surroundings and the people she's around in hopes of protecting herself BUT Stassi said so much other shit that it's clear that her intent was to shine a light on victims and discuss all the ways they contributed to their own abuse.

I love Kristen--she's probably my favorite cast member aside from Scheana--but beautiful she is not. Am I alone in this? I think she's terribly plain and her hair is so stringy and sad. Sorry Kristen! Call me!

I am alone in thinking that Kristin is a classic beauty, however, she should look in the mirror and learn how to hold her head at more flattering angles. She also needs to relax her face.

I think Kristin has a certain type of beauty that appeals to me more than that of the other women.  Her new teeth didn't do her any favors, though.

Katie is right is up there too.

I actually think Stassi is attractive but I believe hers was surgically induced!  The others are pretty in more traditional ways, and I get that, but sort of flat in their prettiness for my  tastes -  if that makes sense.

I think Kristin has a "dirty" look about her most of the time.  I don't know how to explain it.  She's pretty but maybe it's her personality that ruins it for me.  I do think Stassi is pretty but I agree with Jextella - it's surgically induced for sure.

I think Brittany is beautiful and Ariana is a close second.

For a cast that’s 100% obsessed with social media, you’d think that SUR’s own social media team would get a little more creative than a half-hearted “book our private room for your holiday event” post, using a boring (pretty, but boring) shot of a *table* edited in a free graphics app.

Some media outlets reporting that Katie and Schwartz may have split up.

I am shocked, shocked I say!, that a marriage based on two people being too lazy to break up isn’t going the distance. First Sheena and Shay, then Brittany and Jax, and now this! It’s almost like incredibly shallow and narcissistic people with no real intrestes beyond getting fucked and getting fucked up are bad at long term relationships. How do I ever believe in love again.

I only skimmed it, but what's all the fuss about?

Last night there was an ad for that crappy female singing group movie with some of the cast playing the opposing singing team. So what does this make them now? Mactoringers?

is anyone listening to the Pump Rules podcast?  Katie & Kristen did an episode where they explain the whole Scheana/rage text thing.  It gave me perspective...but as always, there's your side & my side & the truth.  Also Craig is the biggest shit-stirrer ever heard!

I remember he did another podcast that kind of imploded cuz everyone running it was fighting.  by the time I caught wind of it, it had been deleted so I never got to hear it.  I live for drama-that-has-nothing-to-do-with-me-whatsoever.

Craig is a bully, a sycophant, and a bitch. Pump Rules was good until he and Blythe became friends with Tom and Katie, and then they just became amplifiers, shitting on whomever Katie hated that particular moment while kissing major, major Maloney-Schwartz ass. It finally came to a head during what would become the final episode, when Lara, their former cohost, tried to discuss how the tenor of the show had changed since Craig had been touched by the wand of reality-fame-adjacency, and because he's a bitch, Craig flipped out, got super defensive, and behaved in a way that we might expect from an acolyte of the Witches of WeHo.

Lara went on to start Sexy Unique Podcast and remains classy about the demise of Pump Rules. I sound like I'm her, huh?

It’s all in who and what you’re looking for. I know plenty of great people who are from LA or who live in LA. And despite what I said, lots of cool people from Vegas, too. But it’s not the first place I think of when looking for a locale focused on something beyond showiness and glitz.

I don’t think so. These stage gigs tend to be temporary. I bet she’ll be back in L.A. before filming begins or shortly after. I could see the play wanting to be showcased on Vanderpump Rules so maybe her last performance will be filmed for the show or something.

Sonja did this same play for a week over on RHoNY. Golnessa was in the play for a week on Shahs of Sunset. Scheana is likely only doing the play for a week or two. Furthermore, Vanderpump Rules films from May until August.

She's actually appearing through May (https://www.caesars.com/paris-las-vegas/shows/sex-tips#.Wk_tPa3MwmI). So she'll definitely be back for filming and I suspect one of her last performances will be showcased on the show. I predict some or all of the cast going to Vegas at the beginning of the season to see her.

Is there a rule that all Bravo shows have to have one cast member be in this show?

It doesn't even seem like that interesting of a play either.  I'm basing that opinion from Sonja and Golnesa.

I stopped going to SXSW years ago because it kept attracting douchier and douchier people...

Quote

“Vanderpump Rules,” which airs its season six finale Monday night, has become the unlikeliest pop culture sensation since Susan Boyle or the O.J Simpson resurgence.

“People put a lot of effort into the way they look, and it shows,” says Tom Sandoval, a bartender who has helped introduce the portmanteau “mactor” (model-slash-actor) into the lexicon, and who is regularly filmed shaving his forehead. “I put even more effort in, so it doesn’t show.”

As self-appointed den mother, Vanderpump tends this group of strivers who have, in the show’s universe, failed to succeed. The emotional stagnation on display feels real. Almost every female cast member has ill-advised forearm tattoos or lip injections. They have almost all wastefully purchased $5,000 Chanel bags or are dating men who treat them poorly. One is married to a blackout drunk. Another self-soothes drinking from a baby bottle.

Hilarious. What does Rob even do? I have searched him on IMDb and it’s a bunch of nothing credits really. Not that the VPR cast are anything special but why does he think he’s better then anyone. He’s a nobody that leeches off his sister.

I assume this Goes here:

I guess I shouldn’t be surprised but I am? Also look Maybe I’m foolish but I think perhaps Jax maybe did change after his dads death and things are different now for him. Maybe. Who knows. Also I would say this is a spoiler but even both Brittany Andy jax were like “you guys will see it on the show” so whatever.

I don't think his dad's death changed him, at least not radically or in the ways he and all of the cast are claiming he's changed. I think he's a psychopath and you can't fix that, but even if he's borderline (as some other posters have proposed), that wouldn't change simply due to a death of a parent. Psychopathy is characterized by lack of empathy and lack of moral attachment to right and wrong, which I think Jax has demonstrated multiple times. These things don't change even with therapy. Borderline is very hard to treat, although there has been some success with DBT (dialectical behavioral therapy), but it requires very intensive therapy (and even then it's iffy if it will work), and being on the show alone means he isn't getting that. I'd bet anything the proposal was self serving in some way. I can think of several reasons Jax would propose that have nothing to do with him being a changed man. Screen time, attempting to improve his image, tighten his hold on Brittany (his doormat), etc.. The list goes on.

Nice move, Brittany.  We all know before too long she'll be bringing children into this mess.  It's one thing to choose to be a doormat, it's another to drag innocent children into it the next time he inevitably cheats.  Which he will, or he'll just up and leave at some point.  I lost all sympathy for her a long time ago.

Also, a big shout out to Kyle Chan for the comped ring.  Like Jax could afford to buy something like that!

This is not gonna end well, and mark my words, maybe not today, maybe not tommorow, but one day, Brittany will regret that she didn't get in that Uber and keep going.

At this point, Brittany could catch Jax in bed doggy style with James, and she won't leave him.

Wow. I don’t think we’ve ever seen Jax look genuinely happy like he does in that picture. Whelp, we thought Mr and Mrs Bubba we’re making the biggest mistake of their lives, but they managed to turn it around for their “first season” of marriage. Everyone at the reunion was saying Jax seemed like a new man and their relationship turned around, weren’t they? (Except for Scheana whom Jax drove crying into the waiting arms of her beauty team.) i’m fuzzy on the timelines, but what was just a few weeks ago to us in TV time was, what, fall 2017 or so? I’m not saying 38 years of behavior is going to entirely disappear in 6 months, but if he was REALLY going to therapy and not just for TV, it’s possible that he’s gotten down to the root of his behavior and has learned better communication skills and healthier behaviors. Not saying he HAS, just saying it’s possible. But hopefully Brittany has learned some healthier behaviors, too, because the girl REALLY relished the attention from the whole gang playing the victim. And she certainly can’t expect to go into a marriage running to make the whole gang scapegoat Jax whenever her feelings get hurt. And I don’t mean the terrible stuff he actually did, like the cheating, but she really enjoyed blowing everything up into an everyone-pile-up-on-Jax-and-lavish-me-with-platitudes situation.

Jax will probably get his reiki lady to officiate the wedding.

Ugh, Brittany, you are stupid and gullible and I feel horrible for your inevitable future children. I'm not buying "Jax is a changed man" one bit.

I'd like to believe that if it weren't for this show, the women would be less pressured/inclined to date assholes just because it makes for "good" TV. But that's just wishful thinking.
