Jamey Giddens needs to calm the fuck down. I listen to the Daytime Confidential podcast and he is by far the loudest person on there. While his obnoxiousness is often funny (at least to me), hardly anyone ever gets to finish a thought without him cutting them off.

From what read on twitter, he got them.  What he was going on about was another soap blogger being denied by the Daytime Emmy folks.  It seems they are giving credentials to everybody who don't cover soaps.

I don't read his Twitter, but he had several posts about it on the Daytime Confidential web site and I did see that he got them.  But while I do think sites that cover soaps should of course have access, the whining tone of those posts kinda cut into his claims that he's a totally serious journalist, you know?

I have two daughters 18 months apart. When the baby came we  named Kristen, the older one couldn't say krissy ,it came out KIKI. It stuck for a long while and certain people who grew up with them have been known to still use it. They are in their forties now .So KIKI doesn't bother me .And I can see where it came from.

I'm in the South so it's damn hot and I just want it to hurry up and get over with so that football season (especially college) can start.

I feel you on the heat, from Tenneesee & currently live in Texas. I love football. I perfer the NFL (49ers fan here) but there are college games I watch each year. I start counting down the days after the superbowl until the new season. I watch the draft, even the 3rd round. I watch games all day Sunday, MNF & TNF if the games are decent.

My best friend jokingly calls me a heathen because I go to church early, so I'm out in time to catch commentary & the 12 central starts.

I love a lot of sports. Tennis, Nascar & some basketball (NBA & college) but nothing matches my love of football.

BestestAuntEver, I'm the same way with college, although I do like pro as well. Every Saturday, I'm planted on the couch starting with College GameDay at 9am, and go all the way to when the last games are over on the West coast around 1 or 2am. And no one can talk to me during my game, because I'm too nervous lol. For me, college football is directly correlated to my level of happiness.

I love NFL too. Broncos fan here. I know. Blasphemy, right? But Brees is just not my Peyton. And really the obsession with him over here rivals Guza's obsession with Jasus. Except I'm sure Drew Brees is a very lovely guy.

I did cheer when the Honey Badger got picked by the Cards. They're my dark horse team. Carson Palmer deserves a ring, ya'll. So does Patrick Peterson.

Okay, I love all the people you love.  Except I like Stardust as well...Cody is committing 100% to the character, which makes it fun for me.  Plus, I loved Goldust complaining that now he's the "normal one".  Hee!  IDK what's up with Ziggles not getting what he deserves, but I blame Cena (& management for thinking that Cena is the end-all be-all for the company).

 

 

As for football, go Ducks!  Quack, quack!  Huge fan of football, NFL & college.  Though the football I really love is futbol.  I love me some soccer.  I grew up playing & my dad is a soccer coach, so I've been immersed in the sport since I started walking.
