Yup

Right after the crash as the media was outside

After it aired and public backlash began - LVP tried to the whole it's British humor schpiel.

I really dislike Ken.  I have never liked him, and I don't buy the British humor excuse!

What??  Ken was filmed saying that?

I have heard that he was but haven't seen the footage. I also heard that he actually said that he wanted as much publicity around no one being seriously injured as possible and that said unseen footage was edited to make him look bad. So, any actual footage would definitely be appreciated.

My friend is on the west coast and saw it on the local news. She has no horse in the race as she doesn't watch any Bravo shows but knows I watch a few of the franchises. She told me it was a two minute clip of Ken speaking and he came across as smug. His "joking" words were met with silence. The local news channel aired it again the next day along with the backlash comments as well as word that there was someone who was injured and had to go to the hospital.

Did they air the whole 2 minutes?*

Because Ken said stuff before and after the publicity part which I'm curious to hear.

*I can tell they edited out the before and after because the Page Six audio is choppy and obvious that other things were said, but left out.  I'm interested in the context that may have been left out.

According to my friend - the whole 2 minutes was aired - this was not Page Six, it wasn't ROL, it wasn't TMZ - it was the local news - I have no idea what the "channel" was and my friend does not "tape/DVR" the news. I'm only going by what she told me he said. Among the things he said - they would be OPEN - they were not closing for the day. The damaged area would be sectioned off but they were still open for business

Ken could get all the publicity he wants by dressing up as a flying monkey and renting himself out for bachelorette parties and other assorted circuses.

I suppose that's a slight step up from having Danny DeVito as a stripper. But just slight.

That's actually not so weird to me.

The convenience store I worked at, had at least one car a year hit the side of the building and we never closed for it.

My favorite was when they hit the wall by the women's bathroom and for 2 weeks we had a 2 inch space near the floor where you could look outside if you laid down on the floor.

Not that I reccomend laying down on a public bathroom floor.  I mean, we cleaned the bathrooms 2-3 times a day.  I still wouldn't recommend laying on the floor.

I'm only telling you what she said - her ears perked up for me because they said Real Housewives. She did ask me why the old man was holding a raggedy stuffed animal

It's funny, I JUST watched season 1 of VPR yesterday (yes, binge-watched, don't judge me please) and I was wondering how on earth she hasn't been sued for sexual harassment. She makes the girls wear these barely-there shear dresses with no bra and takes photos of them in bikinis at her pool (where she giggles and shoos Ken away for oggling the girls) every year to promote Sur...in one photo the photographer asked the girls to kiss. I also wonder how there haven't been any lawsuits for discrimination by anyone in a size 4 and up who were turned away as wait staff for being "fat".

They all look unhappy

Isn't that the usual facial expression when you're coming down the catwalk?

Sorry, cant get rid of the quote box.  Is this the next housewives show to air? And does anyone know when the start date is? I'm bored and watching old New York shows!

Wikipedia lists the premiere date as sometime in March, but I’m not sure how accurate that is since I haven’t seen the trailer yet. The trailer for RHONY was recently released and its premiere date isn’t until April 2, so color me confused.

Thank you! I've been watching season 7 of NY, when Bethany returned and Heather decided to fight for the Alpha Role and how freaked out it made Beth.  And the ladies first trip out to Dorinda's Bluestone Manor all decorated for Christmas and it's made me want to skip BH and get to NY! For now...…  I know I'll be sucked back into BH the minute it comes back on 😉

Dorinda's Berkshire home might as well be an unofficial "Friend of" at this point lol

Yes it should! 😂 I've actually watched only the parts of different seasons of NY when they traveled to the Berkshires to stay in Bluestone Manor.  Just skipped all the other junk and went straight to Bluestone with them!

RHOBH likely won't premiere until late April/May which is very late for the show. It usually premieres December/January so I'm guessing there must have been a lot of worries surrounding this season since they seem to still be filming.

Last season premiered in February. OC, Dallas and Potomac's latest premieres were all a month later than the previous years'. Might just be scheduling issues with Bravo.

I don't think the late premiere has anything to do with filming. Last season premiered in the middle of February. Vanderpump Rules premiered in January 2020. That's very late for that show and they didn't really have cast problems. They've also moved Vanderpump Rules from Monday to Tuesday. There are many reasons why Bravo might have pushed back the premiere of RHoBH that have very little to do with the cast or the footage.

Bravo has new more male oriented shows and has been trying to attract more straight male viewers. Perhaps RHoBH doesn't pair well with these more male focused shows. Perhaps there's another show on another network has too much audience overlap with RHoBH for the head of programming to be comfortabke airing a new season of RHoBH while it's competition still has new episodes. Maybe they're trying to counter program against a big splashy show that skews male. Maybe RHoBH works better as a lead in to the Olympics. Maybe they need RHoBH as a lead in for another show. Maybe they've timed the premiere to coincide with the launch of the Peacock streaming service. There is so much going on at the network level that we don't have the knowledge or information to understand that there's no point in speculating that cast or footage are responsible for premiere date changes.

Rinna walking NYFW with her daughters

Yolanda just did the same thing in Paris, but more upscale and with less desperation (her daughters get tons of work without her).

The class act that is Joyce Giraud de Ohoven putting Brandi on blast. If you want to hear what really went on during season 4, have a listen. She spills the tea on Carlton, Brandi, etc. I enjoyed this.

She's lovely. Thank you for posting this.

I'm so ready for the new season, especially if we end up stuck in the house for awhile...

Yes, we might be stuck in the house for a while and I need my entertainment, but can you imagine being stuck in your house with Brandi? YIKES

I didn't start a Sutton Stracke thread, as I don't know anything about her; no catchy thread name.  I know there are lots of folks who like house porn, so thought I would share this:

She does have a lovely home. Hopefully she'll be fun to watch.
