hurrrz November 5 Share November 5 (edited) This is is so mid, but this exchange sent me: "Do you want to know who has the tiniest dick in Hollywood"? "It must be one of the Stranger Things kids, right"? Edited November 5 by hurrrz 1 Link to comment
astrohip November 6 Share November 6 I'm out. On a scale of Veep to Avenue 5, this is 80% A5. I can see the satire and biting wit they're going for, but whereas in Veep it hit home, and seemed organic to the show, here it's just forced. Scenes are ridiculous, not funny. It's a shame, it's not a bad concept, but the writing doesn't come close to holding its end up. I quit halfway thru E5. SP deleted. Link to comment
Corgi-ears November 14 Share November 14 (edited) I don't understand Dag's characterization at all. Is she naive or cynical? Is she meant to be calculating? She says stupid shit, and sometimes it seems like it's because she's dumb; other times, it appears like she's stirring shit. It's as if the writers are just giving her random lines from scene to scene. Edited November 14 by Corgi-ears Link to comment

Her observations can be very witty, if not the most helpful to her boss. It took me awhile to place the actress who plays Dag, Lolly Adefope, but she's funny as the naive young ghost in the British version of Ghosts. Link to comment
