I'm curious where Justin and Evelin got married. I grew up in a tiny beach town in the Bay Area (where they live) and it looked very similar to their location. I also find it fascinating that Justin forms every few words he says with his mouth.

I wonder if Casia still thinks Jason is "chooby".

I kind of chuckle to myself every time I picture Dani talking to the camera about Mo making like a banana and splitting. Her finger doing the roundabout when describing it's a "whole family" now with her non-tear cross eyes.

I'm officially going to hell. I'll leave now.

I was so hoping they'd do more shots of that beach.

I was thinking it looked like it could have been the Monterey Bay area.

We needed more beach porn in that wedding scene.

I liked all the weddings this week. Evelin looked gorgeous and Justin looked like the cat who got the cream. I agree that the family drama seems to have been staged, as was the dishes in the sink scene at the start of their story. I think things will work out for those two.

Jason and Cassia - oy-oy-oy. Now, if they got married in Vegas, what was that wedding record with his dad as the officiant that someone mentioned? I think her dress suited her, but that couple are doomed, particularly if Cassia finds friends of her own, and especially if they are nearer her age than Jason's. His dad is sweet though, bulge or not ;-)

Chelsea and Yamir - I wanted to slap her when she was whining about her dress. I also wanted to slap her mum too - how long does it take to run up a skirt like that? Five minutes? And you leave it until the day of the wedding? The top was nice - I recall Chelsea saying she'd bought it in Nicaragua. Anyway, despite the hippieness of it all, they both seem very happy. But once the realities of life - earning a living, paying your way, running your own home - set in, I think they might struggle.

Brett and Daya - I really enjoyed their wedding. They both looked very happy indeed. Brett had a huge grin on his face, and Daya, under her veil, was clearly overjoyed too. Daya's dress is exactly what I'd expected for a bride from her culture. I have a couple of friends from Indonesia and an American friend of Filipino heritage and they all got married in huge foofy dresses. Not quite 'gypsy wedding' foofy, but close. I think those two will be okay.

The DaniMo train wreck gets worse. Dani's fantasy that her daughters 'love' Mo was quickly squashed by Faith. None of those kids give a shit about him and they can clearly see through his motives. And doesn't Mo realise that being on reality TV is like wrestling with a bear? You only get to stop when the bear wants to. So Mo, you can go into another room and close the door, but that doesn't mean that TLC won't be waiting for you when you decide to show your face again.

Can't wait for the reunion!

Chelsea's mother made just the skirt? An unlined skirt is a beginner project. If Chelsea's mom is really that basic of a sewer, she should have suggested Chels hit the mall. After all, Mom was catering the wedding too.

I have a feeling that Chelsea is, well, a little indulged. Good luck, Yamir.

I don't think Mo is a terrorist, and I don't really think he is the mastermind behind this "gigolo scheme" either. I've mentioned either here or another forum that I think it was a collaborated plan by Mo's family, and Mo ended up being the bait. He stated more than once he did not want to come to America. And he doesn't seem to care enough about the green card to follow the rules. I think he is just a teenager that thought he could get more swag in america and fell in his family's trap and now realized everyone screwed him and doesn't care anymore.

(Which btw.... yes you do have to live together for about 2 years, share bank accounts, bills. When my husband went for an interview, I was 8 months pregnant with his child and they still drilled me)

Long time lurker, first time poster. I couldn't resist the temptation anymore.

I am not convinced his family thought this out and used him as a bait. Rather, he constantly hears people talk about easy riches in wealthy paradise (Western Europe, USA, Canada), where people swim in money, live in nice homes, drive cars and wear nice clothes. He's working an underpaid, menial job in Doha and someone probably taught him that he could pick up desperate, ugly, older women online. That they'd marry him, bring him over, pamper him, take care of him financially, dress him, feed him etc. That he'd only need to be married for a short time, will get his green card and divorce (perhaps even get property and money after his divorce). He then would be able to marry a nice Tunisian girl (him living in the United States ups his chances to marry a nice girl). I'm sure his family did not object, I'm sure they applauded him. But I don't believe they orchestrated it all.

I'm sure Mo feels frustrated. It is very different than his friend told him it would be. He expected luxuries and financial stability, a sugar mama. He got none of that. He's pissed about that. But I do not for a second doubt he is not committed to his green card! He probably erroneously assumed he'd get permanent residency right after marriage. Oops! Not going to happen. Two years conditional and then they will need to apply for removal of conditions.

Even for his first, conditional, green card he needs to prove the bona fide of his marriage. Good luck with that Mo!

Oh yes Nutella that could very much be the case most likely. It just feels so weird to me that he isn't carrying out any of the rules to actually obtain the green card.. that I'm sure both him and Dani know.. I was offering another possible perspective that I've thought about.

Him not returning but also not following through is so strange. If he wasn't going to follow the rules after the wedding then why bother with the wedding? Pity? Doubt it.

Also, thanks for not being mad at my opinion lol.. I know how ridiculous it sounds.. especially since it sounded ridiculous to me the first time I saw things like that.

This is what gets me about Mo and Danielle. Do they have no idea how stringent immigration is about these kind of visas and how closely they'll be investigated for fraud? INS will make multiple surprise visits to the home to check that they're sharing bed and board and grill them up and down, for a minimum of THREE YEARS. If INS thinks it's a fraudulent marriage, not only would MO be deported but Danielle could very well go to jail.

Not only that, but they're required to have joint finances, and I really want to know who is sponsoring Mo, because Danielle's income clearly isn't adequate. In order to sponsor your fiance for a visa, you have to prove that you have enough income to support both of you. When my friend married a Mexican national, her dad had to sponsor him because her income wasn't enough.

Immigration ONLY makes surprise visits when they have doubts. Usually only once and that's enough. Multiple visits is after they have started a full blown investigation, in which they may interview neighbors etc. Most people do NOT get home visits.

After sending in all forms, the alien gets a biometrics (fingerprint) appointment, after which he'll receive his work permit. With the work permit he can get a SS number and a drivers license. Meanwhile, they have to start collecting evidence of bona fide of the marriage. Sometimes the case will be approved without an interview, but most of the time, they will get an interview notice. They will have to bring evidence proving their marriage is real and answer questions in a way that convinces the officer that the marriage is real (there are all kinds of officers, so it is also a question of luck!). If they have doubts, they may separate the husband and wife and ask questions individually. Then at the interview, the case will be approved, or will be approved within a few weeks. They may also send a request for evidence (more proof) or a notice of intent to deny....... When the case is approved, the alien will get his 2-year green card. That green card is conditional and based on the marriage to the U.S. citizen. In case of extreme abuse (this can be physical, emotional, etc) the alien can file for the removal of conditions of the green card but he will need to prove the abuse and the fact that he entered the marriage in good faith (good luck with that, Mo!).

Before the two years are oven (within 90 days of the 2-year green card expiring), Mo and Dani will have to file for the removal of conditions from his green card. They have to send in a lot of evidence that their marriage is real and that they have been living together all the time. Once that is approved he'll get his permanent, 10 year green card. He may then divorce and live happily ever after in the U.S.A.

Truth is stranger than fiction!

I think it is doubtful Mohamed is fully aware of the immigration rules. He seems to assume that the mere fact of being married on paper is enough. I'd love to see his face once he realizes he need to be married to Danielle for two years.

But once the realities of life - earning a living, paying your way, running your own home - set in, I think they might struggle.

They don't seem to have compatible goals. He wants to be a musician, which has to happen in a big city, probably Miami or LA, and will probably involve touring if he wants to make any kind of living. She doesn't seem at all interested in the industry except as a fan. What kind of life can they build together that works for both of them? All the passion in the world won't fix that problem, especially after a year or two to cool down.

Mohamed's family can't be that religious if they would approve of his marrying and taking advantage of an American woman, then divorcing her for a "nice" Tunisian girl.

From spending too much time lurking on certain message boards, it appears as they are all onto it and they (the family) are OK with it (sometimes even the eventual Tunisian wife!). The ends justify the means I guess

I have a TV on in my workroom, so I'm "listening" to last night's show for background noise. I TOTALLY forgot this part: HE MAKES ME A BETTER PERRRRRRRRRRSON!!!!! Huh? What's that you say??? What the heck? What episode was that, where something Mo said made Dani a better person? Gawwww, what on earth must he have had to work with? As we say in the south... bless his heart... (when we really mean "stupid!")

Jason reminds me so much of Kip from Napoleon Dynamite. The way his mouth is always turned down at the corners into a pout, his odd, almost prissy mannerisms, his Asperger's-like demeanor, his ability to convince himself that he's a cool dude desired by every woman he meets online, despite being an actual dweeb. I see Kip every time he's on screen.

And why was Cassia's dress cut down to her vagina? I have to say, however, that I thought all of the weddings (this week) were very touching and everyone looked great. They were positively glowing with happiness.

HE MAKES ME A BETTER PERRRRRRRRRRSON!!!!!

Yeah, it's like Dani has memorized phrases that represent unselfish attachment and repeats them whether they bear any relationship to the situation or not. "It's all for the kids," "He makes me a better person," etc., as opposed to "He fills the gaping hole where my self-worth should be," which doesn't sound as good. Because if we actually look at Mo's affect on Dani, his presence in her life has motivated her to lie, to spend thousands of dollars that her kids need, and to humiliate them all on national TV. If that's being a better person, I shudder to think of what she was like without him.

Word on the Kip/Jason comparison.

Wasting money on traveling to see Mo... then sending him a bunch of cash to buy the ticket? You have THREE kids to take care of you dope!

I am interested in hearing next week if the mother has come to her senses and apologized.

Gven the selective edits this season and last, I'm interested in having it definitively confirmed that she really did skip out on the wedding and reception in it's entirety. I don't doubt that it could have happened after the unpleasantness that went on..... but it could also have happened that she withdrew from active participation and put in an appearance off camera followed by a quick exit.

Pretty much believe most couples problems are staged like last years show. For Mo to get a green card the sponsor (Danielle) needs to make over 40k (family of five 125% of poverty guideline). Evelin and Justin was staged problems for TV. Brett and Daya seems awfully weird she went to hug him to avoid the kiss but it was Ramadan. You need to find a way around the make up problem if that was the case. Chelsea and Yamir they were boring all season and him being famous was BS since his Facebook band page didn't have more than 1000 likes.

Cassia and Jason might be the only couple with real problems on the show. Jason also reminds me of Kip. Whatever cool is, Jason is the exact opposite of that. He does the Kip head nod in the interviews and also ends the commentary painfully like Kip would do. With some style and mannerism changes you could turn Jason into Aaron Ruell (guy who played Kip but looks like a normal average looking guy)

Dani may have had nothing to do with the Mac being in the house. A lot of school systems will help low-income families have computers at home for the kids to use.

I had to come back to this comment because I was re-watching the season premiere last night before bed. In the first episode of the season they show her Skyping with Mo on that computer, so she's certainly taking advantage of it. She's also got her iPad and her cell phone (which I guess it shut off at some point later in the season), and there's a big, flat-screen TV in her living room. I doubt low-income school programs were paying for all of this... girlfriend has more electronics than I do.

I wish we'd been given more insight into Chelsea's plans for the future. Given what we've seen of her parents, they live very modestly and cannot afford to care for two adults in the long-term.

She is a slightly more impulsive version of myself in my 30s.

But Dani is not in her 30s. She is in her late 40s. At some point, you can't get away with the young and dumb excuse, you are supposed to grow up and learn fromm your mistakes. From other things commented on, this is apparently not her first rodeo. She keeps making bad decisions and then wonders why her fantasy world falls apart. She never stops to think why it happens. She just goes and does it again.

I want a show with just Jason's dad. And his Swiffer.

hahahahaha! I agree--Ron and his swiffer were my favorite couple. It got so every time he was in a scene I looked for his swiffer. I think he's fabulous. Every scene with Jason and Cassia having a fight or a teary meltdown, there's Ron in the background, gently swiffering…...

Chelsea and Yamir's wedding was sweet--very pintrest, very rustic, very much the fashion these days. Yamir's family were uniformly adorable and "sunflower of the north" made me tear up a little. They seem very happy and I wish them the very best. I don't think they are very different from any other young couple just starting out. They have a plan to stay in Galesburg for a year, so they can save money and Yamir can work on his English, then move to a big city so that Yamir can pursue his music career. Seems pretty reasonable to me. As far as Chelsea's "meltdowns"--I had a case of screaming hysterics the day before my wedding because I heard it was going to rain. I was 33 years old. (it didn't rain). I can't fault her for having a moment. To me it just seemed like TLC was trying to ramp up the drama since there really wasn't much there. they were just a young couple in love, getting married.

Evelin looked like Eva Longoria. The giant wineglasses were tacky as hell and really Jason? you shoved cake in your lovely bride's face? Love her, hate him. He looked like he'd rolled out of bed and staggered down to the ceremony.

Dani and Mo are just a pair of losers. My god, she is dreadful. "my girls!" honey, your girls are not pink cheeked pre schoolers! They aren't sadly pressing their tiny noses up against the glass, hoping Mo will come and read them a story. Jesus.

She is living in some kind of dream world.

Does the marriage have to be consummated to make it legal? Just wondering about Danielle and Mo.

Don't know about Ohio, but it does in PA. My husband's late uncle was doing life, married while he was in prison (to be fair, he was supposed to get out, but the laws changed - long, complex story), and when he died, his wife wasn't able to get his military pension or anything else because the Commonwealth did not recognize their marriage (PA also does not allow conjugal visits).

This is what gets me about Mo and Danielle. Do they have no idea how stringent immigration is about these kind of visas and how closely they'll be investigated for fraud?

I don't think either of them did any homework. I think they both got into this based on what they'd heard from other people, rather than doing the actual research on their own. Danielle isn't capable of that kind of effort because that would be hard, and boring, and she doesn't want to hear that this isn't going to be as easy as paying some money and then just waiting around for the approvals. Mo clearly did not know what he was getting into. That's either because he figured Danielle would do the legwork (she being the American in this couple) or because he's a piss-poor bezness man and didn't ask the right questions before he proposed to Danielle (would LOVE to have witnessed that moment) and got on the plane. Or both.

I read on another forum that a poster said she/he had reported the situation to immigration. It would be absolutely hysterical to watch this situation blow up. However, I doubt Homeland Security is the sole shining star of efficiency in the federal government. It's entirely likely that Mohamed will get his papers, no problem.

Jason's dad has such a relaxed quality about him. Like he has seen it all and takes everything with a grain of salt now.

He's very zen about the situation with his son. He thinks it's nuts but he's not foolish enough to butt in. It will either work out or it won't without his interference. I don't get the love for him though. This was a guy who dressed up in a creepy clown costume to "welcome" his future daughter-in-law. Who hates clowns. You can't convince me that wasn't malicious. I can't stand people who do mean, hostile things like that and then try to pass it off as teasing or joking. That's a long way to go to "joke" with someone you barely know. I do not see him as a hero in any way, shape, or form.

Mohamed's family can't be that religious if they would approve of his marrying and taking advantage of an American woman, then divorcing her for a "nice" Tunisian girl.

I don't know what Allah says about this in the Koran, but it's not unusual for followers of any religion to pick and choose which parts they believe and be somewhat flexible in their observance.

I don't understand Justin's family. The whole drama had to be TLC produced because no one does that much of a 360.

People, including Jen, often behave differently when a bombshell is dropped on them in front of a camera (and they don't know the mic is picking them up) than when they are well prepared ahead of time and have had ample time to consider how they want to come across on television.

They don't seem to have compatible goals. He wants to be a musician, which has to happen in a big city, probably Miami or LA, and will probably involve touring if he wants to make any kind of living. She doesn't seem at all interested in the industry except as a fan.

Chelsea's Linkedin profile says she has "Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Spanish Language and Literature, Music Business." From the way it's worded, I suspect the music business thing was a minor. She also played the bassoon in the college wind ensemble, which makes me giggle for some reason. I'm picturing Chelsea and Mohamed going on the road together. And selling these on Etsy as a separate income stream.

Since the episode already aired. Cassia tweeted me last night that they edited out a ton of the things that happened. They filmed for hours and only showed a fraction. They actually feel like showcasing 6 couples was too many. I tend to agree. After tweeting back and forth, I think she and Jason make a ton of sense together. And who am I to judge about age differences. Mr. SaucyMommy is 8 years older than me. I think Dani is too old to use the I'm Impulsive card. 46 year olds with 4 kids and 3 of them minor have no excuse about being impulsive. MoPickle is using her as much as she is using him.

Cassia's twitter is amusing. It is always amusing when people volunteer for reality tv, are paid for the experience, and then complain about the creative editing. Also amusing is when they go on facebook/twitter/instagram/forums like this (for no other reason than because they want to be recognized and talked about) and immediately start thanking their "fans" and hating on their "haters." Particularly if they make their formerly private twitter public in order to do so.

On a side note, it appears that all of her hair is brown now, which shows she is capable of making good decisions.

Thanks guys for all the laughs. I don't have as much time as I'd like to be on PTV right now, but when I do I'm always amused!

Random thought: whenever I see Jason's dad with the Swiffer I always think dog accident. They showed several little yippers running around & well, shit happens.

I feel no pity for Mo or Dani either. I don't buy any ignorance on her part or believe he was forced by family. What infuriates me about this couple is Dani's kids. How horribly sad that they've learned to accept the upheaval of drama mama & her man pain as normal. Good grief woman get a vibrator, name him & tell people you have a boyfriend.

Dani bothers me even more as a single mother of girls. I am very cautious regarding dating with girls at home. I haven't even bothered lately because of my own issues but previously I rarely even allowed men to meet my kiddos. I've been in one long term relationship since my divorce & even then I sheltered my kids from too much interaction because I wasn't 100% sure if we would last. Maybe I'm overly cautious but I can live with that. One mistake on my part & my kids would have to live with that. I have two close friends who were victimized during their childhood & still live with the fallout today. I'm not saying Mo is a pedophile, but the idea of bringing a man home that you've spent little time with makes me crazy. Especially imagining that these girls more than probably have some male/daddy issues & crave a parental figure. I'm sorry I think I'm ranting. That situation just makes me feel rage monster red hate.

On a lighter note, Cassia'a dress, as slutastic as it was, was still klassier than most of Kim Kardashian's outfits.

I think her age is stated correctly. I saw her birthdate on a legal, public document that appeared briefly online, and did some simple math. I didn't write down the date because I don't care that much.

I agree. They are scamming each other. I just think Danielle is the bigger scammer. If I reverse the genders, it becomes clearer to me. American men have been recruiting wives to this country in return for citizenship for ages. Typically the man is older with money, and the woman is younger and more attractive than him. Imagine if the moment this young woman arrived in the US, the older unattractive man is even older than he told her, he is in debt up to his eyeballs, he's lost his job from incompetence, and he sobs piteously and follows her around trying to paw all over her. Top that off with the fact that the older man now expects the younger woman to get a job that supports him and his three minor children, as well as cook all the meals, and we'd probably be screaming about what a misogynistic pig he was.

Then I would expect the marriage proposal to be respectfully rescinded and return to my home country. IIRC Mohamed is the one who proposed to Danielle and I believe he did make her promises to help her family in doing so.
