Colin Lawson, owner of Marianne Station, life is thrown into upheaval when the heir to his cattle station, his 41 year-old son, Daniel Lawson, dies unexpectedly, but was his death accidental? Joimiaroxeu October 22 Share October 22 I've heard this show described as the Australian "Yellowstone." I'll give it a shot but it'd get bonus points from me if they'd bring over Kevin Costner, lol. 1 Link to comment
NJRadioGuy October 30 Share October 30 It's got Robert "Longmire" Taylor instead. I'd forgotten that he was 'Strayn. So far for me (Epi. 1) it's a cheap clone of Yellowstone but the characters are intriguing. It could become interesting. It's only 6 episodes so not much of a time investment for what could become a decent drama. On a technical note, the color grading is...jarring. I know they're trying to amp up how hot and inhospitable the land is, but the deep yellow shifts are just unpleasant visually. Link to comment
mythoughtis December 4 Share December 4 This is definitely a Yellowstone ‘copy’. I find the accents make hearing the conversation hard. We are watching episode 2. I don’t care about any of these characters and I think the old man is senile. Once my spouse decides he’s bored, we are done. Link to comment
