Looks prove deceiving as Agence Grateau hypes a skincare line and Gabriel’s restaurant chases a Michelin star. Trouble brews on Camille’s shopping trip.

Please keep on topic with things that happen in this episode. Spoiler tag things that happen in future episodes.

Avoid Kadience lube-rizer at all costs! Li’s pillow face is scary to look at.

So, the purpose of Louis/JVMA sexual harassment plot is to bring Julien back to Agence Grateau? Lame. 😏

How many more bad news that Gabriel can take in one day?

Am OK with the faux pregnancy plot because baby complicates things. With no baby and no Sofia, we will be seeing jealous & manipulative Camille AGAIN, unfortunately. Sigh. It’s getting repetitive. 😣

After 5 episodes, I do not like any of Emily’s outfits this season. Season 3 has much better styles and wardrobes. And why 99% of Mindy’s outfits are too revealing? Her style is getting worse.

I’m relieved there’s no baby. Why didn’t Camille call the girlfriend and tell her to come back or better yet go after her in Greece?
I liked Emily’s outfits except for the black and white striped dress she wore to the masked ball.
I’m glad Emily and Gabriel finally got together. I hope they stay that way. I like a happy ending.

Both she and Sylvie were very boobs-forward in this episode. I was surprised Sylvie's stayed put—she must have been using some strong tape to keep things in place.

I'm also glad there's no baby, but I don't need round zillion of the stupid Emily/Gabriel/Camille triangle.

Fun fact: The actor who played Sylvie's mother, Liliane Rovère, was in Call My Agent!, as was Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, though I don't think they shared any scenes.

In the previews for the second batch of episodes,

Emily's ski wardrobe style is a total ripoff of Audrey Hepburn's in

Charade.

The topics and relationships definitely seem more real this season, more ambiguous and messy like real life is, but I’m not sure I find it worked out smoothly looking at where the show came from. Emily, Gabriel and Camille are still very stereotypical and unrealistic in how they are written at the same time.

I wish they wouldn’t make Camille look like a villain so often throughout the series (I mean literally her face, hair, make up and clothing too, I enjoyed her style in season 1 so much, the red boots, indigo jeans, oversized blazer with a red pinstripe, wow).

Agree with some commenters that Julien deserves a better arc. He’s a smart guy who could be mean in season one but has his heart in the right place and helped Emily out. I’d love to see him grow, similarly to Sylvie, but maybe more lightheartedly or with more jokes, I could see him have more of his own arc overcoming obstacles.
