AntFTW August 9 Share August 9 Quote Catherine relinquishes her seat on the Privy Council, but not before securing a place for Anjou. With religious war on the horizon and as Queen Elizabeth lands in the Netherlands, can a marriage be France's saving grace? Air date: August 9, 2024 Link to comment
ferjy August 12 Share August 12 That was some steamy sex with Catherine’s daughter and proxy husband in bed. 😁 Still, looks like it may be the most she’ll get with the condition her new husband is in. Though I’d be happier with Philip in his vegetative state than when he’s lucid! Catherine continues to weasel out of the tight situations she keeps putting herself in. I can’t decide whether it’s because she’s that shrewd or whether those around her are just idiots. Darn, no interaction yet with Catherine and Elizabeth I. Next week, it looks like. Our popcorn is going to get stale! The little smirk on Charles at the end as he sees Elizabeth stepping out of the coach… he seems to like the idea of marrying her. Or maybe it was more a nod to his mother for properly shocking everyone. Catherine, you’re never boring. 3 Link to comment
andromeda331 August 13 Share August 13 I think Catherine's my idol. She is never boring. I think she's shrewed and she's also surrounded by idiots. She runs circles around them all. I love how no one is suspicious by all the ladies and possbile one man showing up with wine and for sex. I can't wait to see her and Elizabeth square off. I've had my popcorn ready but it looks like I have to wait another week to see them together. They really are the only ones in each other's league. Charles can't make a decision to save his life. Mommy saved him from war. Edith is a psycho. Good luck with your con. Poor Louis getting burned. I don't know what Guise is up to has he really lost it? He believes Edith? 2 Link to comment
