DevilsDetails May 12 Share May 12 Mother's Day seems a fitting time to start this. I was very impressed by Jodie Comer's performance. Didn't follow "Killing Eve" and haven't seen much else of her work, so this was an eye-opener. Also really liked Katherine Waterston's character, bringing in a bit of comic relief I'm not used to seeing from her. And, of course, Cumberbatch, whose brief appearance was good as always. I've seen complaints that it's slow, which it can be, and too "feminist," whatever that is. I just thought it was an ode to the power of motherhood. Appreciated the cinematography, as well, but Comer was the standout. Link to comment
