KaveDweller March 6 Author Share March 6 I read that they got to go back and re-film the finale after the cancellation, and I am glad they did cause I like everyone getting a happy ending (no matter how unrealistic). A few thoughts: Davia's play still looks terrible, but I guess she deserves success. She and Dennis don't seem strong enough to make it long distance, but I'll pretend they do. Good for Malika taking action. Alice should not have given up a great opportunity to protect the job of three guys on the cusp of retirement. Especially when it is on a show that seems to involve cruelty to animals. But I guess it worked out and she gets success anyway. I was a little worried Mariana was going to choose Joaquin, and was so sad at the thought of Evan being broken hearted. I didn't think I cared so much until then. Do you think we were supposed to care which woman formerly homeless guy chose? I still don't know his name. And I can't believe I am saying this, but no update on Bulk Beauty? Did the ladies save the company or what? Is Mariana still co-CEO at Spekulate or is she working on her own dumb app? Do her partners kind of hate her now? 1 Link to comment
possibilities March 6 Share March 6 I'll miss it. I truly will. Callie and Mariana are sisters, though. They're still definitely going to see each other. I love that they didn't end the season with Callie's wedding. A straight show would have for sure done that. I was bracing myself, but they didn't do it! They also had everybody wind up with the less mainstream partner-- Mariana with Evan, Gael and Malika with the same sex partner, Luca picking the person who was with him the whole time, etc. They did kind of bury the polyamory and the three-way parenting arrangement, but they were short of time, so I'll allow it. 2 Link to comment

I love Callie, but she never really seemed that close with the rest of the Coterie, so her wedding would have felt more like a Foster re-union than a Good Trouble finale. 1 Link to comment
possibilities March 6 Share March 6 Well, that might be the first time a budget problem saved a show from making a big mistake! Straight weddings are a dime a dozen on TV shows. It's much better that they spent more time on everybody else. I did notice that they didn't tell us what ... I can't remember her name, but the one who threw the murder mystery birthday party... will be doing next. It's odd that they made a point of having her there, but didn't even give her a line about where she's going. 1 Link to comment
