possibilities February 7 Share February 7 I was relieved to have a break from Davia and Dennis insecurity and bickering this week. I realize they were trying to make a point, but I find it hard to believe that even a man of his generation would be that clueless in general, and that worried about coming out-- if he lives in the Bay Area and works in Hollywood. Ditto his friends reacting so cluelessly. Set the show somewhere else, and I buy it. But not there. What is the legal situation for Lyric? Does Gabriel still have any legal parenting status, or did he surrender it for his sister and her hubs? Silas didn't look happy to hear that Mariana is [allegedly] no longer looking into his shady self. Taking a bunch of pills and then going drinking? IWas that a suicide attempt and he's going to be dead by morning, or was that whole mess just to show Malika's co-dependency issues? Link to comment

I think they live in Los Angeles, not the Bay Area, but still I agree with your point that the friends reacted pretty badly. They must have encountered gay men before, and they were certainly accepting of Alice. I can buy a person his age being that afraid to come out though. I was glad to see Callie. After showing her in the previews every week she finally shows up! Too bad Marianna is ignoring her advice. Link to comment
poweranimals February 27 Share February 27 So I guess no one's talking about this show anymore. I was kind of enjoying reading these. 🙃 Link to comment
possibilities February 27 Author Share February 27 I would talk about it but I don't like to start a thread and be the only person who posts in it! Also, I hate starting threads in general. Link to comment
KaveDweller February 29 Share February 29 (edited) Yes, I hate starting threads too, and I don't like looking at the list of threads and seeing my name as the last person to post in all of them. But I'm still watching and could find lots to nitpick about. Edited February 29 by KaveDweller 1 Link to comment
possibilities February 29 Author Share February 29 I sstill actually like the show because, despite its obvious flaws, it's still the only thing on TV that slightly resembles the world I live in... just the queerness of it. Most other representation is much more mainstream. And I realize that's a weird thing to say, given the jobs are tech, legal, Hollywood. But still... it somehow captures the flavor of the alt culture I know from real life. 2 Link to comment
