Chicago Redshirt January 12 Share January 12 So I was trying to figure out if the superior who tried to screw over Operation Kite Runner was somehow involved in this Little Wing deal, and that seems like too much of a stretch even for this. But if it turns out that guy is somehow involved, I want a No-Prize. I really wonder why Langston would think that Reacher would self-surrender to his line of BS, and why Reacher would even possibly consider doing so, and why Langston and his mean don't immediately doublecross Reacher and shoot him dead other than super-duper plot armor. 3 Link to comment
Raja January 12 Share January 12 When O'Donnell refused the you're a father relief suggestion I was thinking it can't be that set trope, hack author or not nobody would write that much on the nose. Going back to the last raid of the 110th had me thinking after two or more years together as soldiers you were due to get broken up anyway. I guess they are supposed to be like SEAL Team's Bravo and there is no where up career wise for a CID agent. It doesn't matter NYPD or US Army, cops in this world are fast to go torture. I'm surprised they just named dropped the Senator's special operations SEALs and Ranger but didn't get them in on the recon of the target. Budget? I guess we will see Neagley as a leader and not just a trooper when the move to save Reacher, who no doubt would have already escaped happens. 1 Link to comment
mledawn January 12 Share January 12 Every time I read the episode title, that Soul Coughing song popped into my head, so I felt validated when it played at the end. How did Langston find Dixon and O’Donnell, I missed that part and haven’t had a chance to rewatch that bit (the downer of watching with someone else)? Jane and her mom are still okay I am assuming.. Finale next week. Probably lots of shooting. Link to comment

shrewd.buddha January 12 Share January 12 (edited) I do enjoy the Reacher experience and tend to overlook minor tropes and annoyances. However .. For me, it didn't seem very Reacher-like to kill someone lying in a hosptial bed. (not that the bad guy didn't deserve it) And the flashbacks feel a little lazy this season - - everyone looks exactly the same as they do in the 'present'. Seems like the showrunners could have at least had the actors go with different haircuts. Only one episode to go .. and still no sighting of the Swan guy. There must be a twist or two coming. thuganomics85 January 12 Share January 12 Okay, Reacher casually talking about killing more folks in front of a teenager is admittedly atypical Reacher faux pas, but considering what the girl just went through, I doubt it will stick with her for that long. She'll definitely need therapy, but probably more for getting shot at instead of that one big guy talking murder like he is going to file his taxes. As soon as they did the whole bit with O'Donnell refusing to leave even though he had "more to lose", I figured something bad was going to happen, but at least it was mere kidnap and torture instead of getting killed off. At least it's a safe bet that neither Dixon or O'Donnell are dirty, unless they are really, really committed to the act. A.B. still seems to be off on his own world that I'm starting to wonder if he's going to be set-up as some kind of recurring villain or at least a holdover for next season. It feels like Reacher will only just have time to handle Langston next week, unless the episode is longer or they rush through things. I'm sure they will find a reason not to have the episode start off with Langston just having his men gun down Reacher right then and there, even though he really should if he cared about his own ass. We shall see! 1 Link to comment
hurrrz January 13 Share January 13 How can a dude that is so smart and conscious about his surroundings be such a 5 year old when it comes to a candy bar. Jesus. 1 5 Link to comment
Morrigan2575 January 14 Share January 14 Man Reacher really had a thing, for Dixon, she might be the only woman he feels/felt something for. I can't tell if Dixon dies or just decides she wants more and, Reacher is a Nomad so they won't work in the end. Link to comment

That Dixon was there offering and he couldn't touch was the few times he would be frustrated. I bet if Neagley was also a Major who would have also held the feeling for her and would be first to volunteer to be her therapy surrogate. Link to comment

Not sure, he was like a little puppy with Dixon in the flashback. He jumped up to move something out of her way and stuff. Nit to mention in the present he was hesitant to talk about Roscoe in front of Dixon. I think Reacher has feelings for her, as much as he is capable. He is most likely a sociopath and didn't really seem emotionally broken up over his brother (that I remember) he did seem to feel something for his mother in the flashback. Link to comment
Quickbeam January 17 Share January 17 I can’t be the only RN here….the catheter balloon thing? It goes in the bladder, not the urethra. Blow it up all you want, plenty of room. Do they not have tech advisors? The air emboli thing is true, might take more than that though. Ok, I’m done. 4 1 Link to comment

He doesn't have an advisor for the US Army and the main character is supposed to be a retired officer, why should medical procedures be any different? 3 Link to comment

I figured that was an example of Reacher bluffing the dude, that pumping air there would be uncomfortable and the guy who's probably loopy from pain meds and faced with a gigantic psycho would probably not know or process enough about anatomy to be like "I don't think this will actually kill me, so f--- off." 1 Link to comment
