Observation . . . Rodrigo seems like he's his own thing, if that makes sense.

I'm not bothered by the "Legends" title. I figure that having Nelson and his ordacity is better than, say, Fessy. And we can say stuff like "They don't call him 'Disappointing Argentina Nelly T' for nothing!"

I'm thinking that at minimum Tyson unwilling to return paved the way for Ben, even though he didn't run the finale. It's harder to cast dopes like Don and Enzo as would-have-been MVPs

Casting question, possible spoiler about someone I thought was going to be on this season:

Wasn't Nicole supposed to be on this season?  Is she coming in as a replacement for someone or was that not accurate?

I can’t tell if Ashley Mitchell has been temporarily or permanently banned from appearing on The Challenge. Because why else would you not include her on this season?

Didn’t she disappear the last season she was on…halfway through the season?   No official reason was given, but rumours said she crossed a line with something she said, iirc, maybe something racial???   That would make her persona non grata.

Now that we're about halfway through and have had some time to get to know the MVPs, here's who I'm hoping to see come back for future seasons of WC or the OG game:

Want: Any of the Argentina folks - I feel like they didn't really have a chance at all the way the game was set up and I'd like to see them get another shot. Really all of Team UK - I don't think Nathan got a fair shot either, Tristan and Zara mainly to see how they do without such divisive partners, and I really like Kaz. Also Theo, who seems like a strong competitor and a decent person. Justine is another one who I'd love to see how she performs without being directly partnered with Bananas.

Neutral: Troy, Kiki, Grant. Australia really floundered trying to find alliances but mostly just stabbing each other in the back.

Do Not Want: Emily, Sarah, Danny, Ben. That whole alliance just seemed entitled and annoying. Team USA also just spent most of the time infighting or making outside alliances instead of trying to get their team to the end.

I wonder why the winner of the Argentina season didn’t appear in World Championship. 🤔

For me, I’d add Grant to my Do Not Want list. I don’t care to see him back, only because I thought he was too cocky. Maybe it was just the politics and competition of the game but I didn’t care for him in the World Championship season. His podcast interview gave me the opposite impression of him, and now I’m soured after watching him.

I like Kiki now. I was neutral on her during the Australia season, and now I like her. I wouldn’t made seeing her back.

I’m neutral on Tristan and Troy. I loved the rest of the UK squad. I’ll take Emily back because it seems like she’d be hated, and I like drama. I can imagine an argument between her and Devin now 😂

I’d take Danny, just not tied to Tori. I want to see how he plays because I feel like him and Tori are just shackling each other. I want to see his gameplay when he’s there’s no conflicting interests with his partner.

From the USA squad, Justine is the only one I’m sold on to come back, and then Danny on a trial basis.
