It streams March 1 on Hulu and aired in the UK on BBC Three in October 2022. A second season is already in production. Wreck follows Jamie Walsh, a 19-year-old new crew member who sneaks onboard the mega cruise ship The MS Sacramentum under an assumed identity, so he can covertly investigate what happened to his sister, Pippa, who disappeared on that very same ship three months earlier. Joining a crew of 1,000 strong, Jamie integrates himself into the crew lifestyle, he meets the various cliques like — the mafias, the theater kids, and especially, the low-paid workers. Eventually, Jamie befriends another crew member, Vivian, who helps him discover exactly what happened to Pippa and together, they work to sniff out the sinister happenings of the ship and search for other potential killers aboard, which none of the crew seem to have ever noticed amidst their partying and excess. New recruit Jamie Walsh gets a crash course on ship life whilst trying to keep a low profile as he investigates what happened to his missing sister. S01.E02: Finding Nemo After shocking news concerning a chief suspect, Jamie and new friend Vivian work together to discover the identity of an officer onboard who was connected to his sister. S01.E03: The Ship That Feared Sundown Jamie becomes embroiled with an illicit operation onboard in exchange for new information on his sister. Meanwhile, Vivian is charmed by a guest as another crew member vanishes. S01.E04: The Sacramentum Slasher After an unlikely ally reveals new information on Pippa’s last days onboard, Jamie and Vivian make a shocking discovery that leads to a dangerous confrontation. S01.E05: Needle in a Gaystack Jamie becomes a fugitive onboard, forcing his friends to hatch a daring plan, one that leads to Jamie discovering the truth about what is really happening onboard. S01.E06: Water Off a Duck's Back Jamie faces a race against time, needing to rally his new friends onboard in order to save one of their own and to finally bring those responsible to justice. Cranberry March 12, 2023 Share March 12, 2023 Okay, that was a fun binge. It's not a fantastic show, but it has that campy slasher movie feel that I enjoy. It went off the rails in episode five, but in a good way. It had a satisfying resolution that tied up the season one arc but left a couple story threads open, which is good because it's already renewed for season two! Link to comment

Season two is set in the months after the events of series one’s shocking blood-soaked conclusion. We re-join Jamie, Vivian, and their found family of survivors back on land as they strike back against Velorum, the corporate murder machine that claimed Jamie’s sister. In a daring and desperate attempt to bring the company down, the gang goes undercover to infiltrate Velorum’s newest venture – an exclusive ‘wellness’ festival for millionaires in the remote Slovenian countryside. Relationships fray, blood pours, and not everyone will be making it out alive. It’s going to be a cleansing experience… Wreck was envisioned to run for 3 series.
