So, Kesi faces some scrutiny, but not as much as I thought. I still think she could be the Mole and had to take a risk of more suspicion to lose money.

So, Casey is eliminated, which...I gotta stop suspecting people more right before they're eliminated. Which is why Kesi/Jacob are still my top two suspects, and always have been. Them being in the game takes them one step closer to being the Mole, or winner, or both. I do like that they've been my consistent guesses for being the Mole since episode 1 and it hasn't changed.

I love we're getting the mental missions this go around. The painting mission was fun, AND I love that my top two suspects chose differently. Plus, this mission still makes it a bit challenging. The Mole can either go for the exemption to take it from others, or they're still fine to take the quiz anyway so they can trick others to vote with them.

The storytelling vs interrogation aspect was fun. The Mole being a Storyteller could be good because they'd already have the story set up for them, if they ARE the one lying. If they're the ones with the truth, they'd just need to start lying.

If the Mole is the interrogator, their job is easier. They'd know who is the liar and their only job would be to convince the other interrogators that someone else is the liar.

It was fun to try to guess along with the other interrogators. Jacob's story was nuts, but it was something I could believe because it was that absurd. Joi's story was very simple, not a lot to it beyond a python being set on her shoulders. Avori's was so different from Jacob and Joi's that it could be fake, but I feel like I could have seen it. Plus, a story where you could easily get caught in a lie? No, hers is somewhat believeable.

My initial gut feeling is that it's Joi because Jacob/Avori both had something they had to do but Joi simply had to stand around. But yeah, I was wrong and I'm glad I got tricked. And I like that one of my suspects had to lie and the other voted another way.

Joi calling out Jacob is....an interesting tactic. Especially after Joi's cost them missions so often. I guess she IS chaotic. Curious to see how Jacob responds, genuinely.

I suspect producers were in her ear at some point being all "you're doing fine but we really need you to do something interesting so we can fill time explaining your sabotages." A lot of the time she's in exactly the right position - the first cell to get out of the prison, the side of the helicopter where she could see the dinghy, the bank control room, the detonator seat - and yet all she ever really seems to do is stall for time. Part of it's that the missions aren't super varied this time around (pretty much all treasure hunts, escape rooms, or game theory exercises) so the sabotages are kinda forced to be pretty similar. I don't think she's going to go down as a great Mole if she is, but part of it's definitely on production here to be fair.

Joi calling out Jacob makes me a little more suspicious of Joi, but I think maybe she's just hard to get along with?

I liked Will's pearl necklace. I don't know if he just started wearing it or if I never noticed it before, but it looked really cool.

LOL at Greg saying that, when he leads a focus group, be plays good cop and bad cop by himself. That's not something it would ever occur to me to do with a focus group, but I can see it being his strategy.

I feel like Kesi and Jacob are still the most suspicious people from the guessing game, though I think I suspect Kesi more.

I would love for Will to be the mole because he's one of the few I have zero suspicion about.   In fact, letting everyone fail or sabotage the game would be a smart strategy by the producers while the mole tries their best.

He looked flabbergasted when his top choice got the boot.

And then his reaction when Joi called out Jacob was amazing. But what is Joi's strategy?  There's zero benefit to identifying the mole publicly in front of everyone.

Kesi is high on my suspect list now.  I am pretty sure the producers would put the mole in a group to sabotage the money and the only solid way to do that is by incorrectly guessing the real painting and selecting someone's real story as fake.  I don't think it's Will.  And Greg hasn't screwed up like Kesi has.

To turn suspicion on someone she doesn’t think is the mole and deflect away from her pick.

Joi had no right to be so angry at Kesi for taking the exemption.  Joi did the same thing.

I figured the painting with STOP on it would be the one the mole did.  The show loves to do these things with a clue in there that they will tell us after the show.  I kept trying to figure out how the word STOP or how the letters were stuck out would point to one player.  I wish we knew their last names.  I was rearranging letters to POTS and TOPS.  I will probably go back and rewatch all the eps to see if the word STOP points to one of them.  Maybe one of them is seen leaning against a STOP sign or wearing a shirt with STOP on it.  This show drives me crazy.

Obviously the mole knew which painting was real.  Which group would the mole want to be in?  I would guess the mole would want the Askers to get it wrong and not win money.  Kesi was on that team and did not pick the liar. But she was over ruled by the guys.  But then Jacob was the fibber and he just didn't succeed.

I know the mole has to go and see production without the others knowing.  Both Kesi and Jacob had a good opportunity to do this.  Kesi when she went back to the hotel alone.  Jacob when he didn't have to do the fake story.

One thing that does have me curious is that Will is always mentioning that he doesn't sleep well.  Moles are usually up at night.  But then he also seems to really clutch his hands tight when he is nervous and looks so relieved when he is right.

I thought Avori was going to be the faker, because her story had a lot of inconsistencies. Like she said she was walking over literal fire at first and then it was hot coals all of a sudden. But I guess she was being suspicious on purpose. A bit meh about that being allowed, since she was supposed to tell the truth and not lie, but whatever, I guess.

The three had to choose who was the liar, so yes, he did have to tell a fake story. The whole point of the game was “two truths and a lie” so 1 person had to be the liar.  What Will needed to decide was if he wanted to try to tell a very convincing fake story and get exemptions for everyone or avery badly told fake story and get the money.  He chose option 2.  He was so bad at it that it HAD to be intentional.  What drove me the most crazy about that game was the guessers kept referencing who they thought was the mole out of the three storytellers, but that wasn’t the point of the game.

Avori is constantly trying to be suspicious. She was probably trying to throw enough doubt into her story so they would chose her and get the three of the storytellers the exemption. But, in her defense, isn’t walking in hot coals called fire walking?

ETA: I just realized I’m dumb lol. The three storytellers obviously didn’t chose who to lie, the producers did when they sent Jacob to the hotel, but either way he did have to tell a lie and then decide to lie convincingly or not depending on if his goal was the money or the exemption. For some reason, no one is mentioning that. They (Will) just harps on how dumb Jacob is without realizing he had to purposefully be bad enough at lying for them to guess him and get the money.

Avori talked about her courses in college and how she knew what to do to look like she was lying.  She really wanted that exemption and hoped they would pick her.  I noticed her deliberately looking down to the point it was almost too obvious.  That is a sign of lying.  If Avori is the mole she is way too obvious.

Meanwhile Avori is secretly pissy telling Joi not to give her top pick away.

Kesi and Jacob are still looking mighty suspicious.    But I'd love for it to be Will.   It would be extremely shocking if it wound up being him.

Will has no idea who it is, how does he not lose?  I’m sure he’s not the mole.

I picked the right painting!  Lol.  The right was easy to make.

I still think kesi or Jacob.

Just finished this episode.  It sounded like Will tailored his answers towards two people, one of whom was Casey.  Since Casey went home, she's not the Mole.  And in order to not be last, he surmises that the other 50% of his guesses are correct.  So he probably has a very good idea who the Mole was.  He seems like he's in a good position to win.  Assuming he's not the Mole of course.

I think Greg is right. Kesi is the Mole. Lingering shots with the tea cup. That super obvious line about people trusting her allowing her to lie. Kesi also feels like a good choice for a Mole that would fly under the radar for most of the game. Though OMG, that means Joi is just a terrible player.

Both paintings were trash to me. I hate that kind of modern art. I did think the shredder was a cool visual gag/reference to the real art world.

I will not be mad if they stay in Australia for the next season.

Kesi tried to throw them off and make them reserve judgment on Jacob and think Joi and Avori were both lying. The more episodes go by, the less she is even trying to hide that she's the Mole. It's been increasingly obvious since the bank heist. If the others weren't so incompetent, she'd stand out even more as the Mole.

Will calling Jacob useless made me cackle.
