Well I will start this new thread off with saying how I still miss American Housewife and what an annoying ending it had for season 5 with the cliffhanger pregnancy.

I guess there is no hope for it returning as most of the cast are busy with other projects for the forseable future, even tho it seems Katy Mixon´s schedule seems clear right now, she has a guest starring role in the upcoming George and Tammy show about Tammy Wynette, but as far as I´m aware that wrapped earlier this year.

And Katy seems to have stayed in Katie Otto shape with how she looked in The thing about Pam

Should ofcourse be noted Katy is wearing a wig in these screencaps

I didn’t know y’all made a new forum for this show. My very first Primetimer post was on the old American Housewife forum. Someone compared Julia Butters to Sophia on Life in Pieces, three years before Giselle replaced her as Anna Kat (I didn’t see the post until the cast change was made). 
 

But yeah ABC made a huge mistake cancelling this show. They could’ve at least gave them some notice. At least give them a full season. Home Economics was created solely to push this show out the door.

Katy was going to be in “Unplanned in Akron” which was rumored to be at least a midseason pickup for CBS, after B Positive, United States of Al and How We Roll were all cancelled I thought it was a shoo-in, but nope. CBS didn’t pick it up and just went with four comedies this season. 🤦🏼‍♂️

Just started watching this show.  I wonder why I never heard of it.  I accidentally came across it.  It is good, not great but Katie is a little jerky.
