No kidding on the title! But LC is playing a really good game. Was time for Louise/Adria to go. Didn’t realize there’s 100k on the line, thought most of these guys are already semi rich or at least financially comfortable by celebrity association. Finally got a concrete clue about Logan’s CR but like they all said you have to be a country music fan to know that and I know very little but I also have Internet. I guess it comes down to who wins the last comp and winner decides whether to guess or not and if neither party knows the answer for sure, you’ll choose not to guess.

I'm really enjoying this show, although I wonder if it'll get a second season.  Each episode has gotten less than 2 million viewers.

Well, they did have an ad looking for new players for season 2.

I, too, like this show and was happy to see the recruitment notice for a second season.  I would imagine it's not expensive to produce as everything takes place at the mansion and for a network reality competition, $100,000 is not that much prize money.  Plus, I would think that they shoot the competition and guess-off on the same day.

Anyway, I think it's L.C.'s to lose-she has all the clues and has so far misdirected people's guesses about her.  I'm glad they took Louise out as I could just envision her making it to the end because she was a "safe" guess.  Not that I didn't like her, but she was kind of a goat (albeit different from Simone's GOAT [more like the Survivor goat]) who could have made it to the end.

For the first time we had Logan and Pepper thinking that LC is not related to Laurence F.  Plus both Logan and Lark's relatives were mentioned among other guesses.  They are getting closer to the truth.

This doesn’t seem like the kind of show that should need an ad to recruit contestants. Shouldn’t the producers be identifying potential relatives and reaching out to them?

They probably do both. By using ads they can get people who are harder to guess and who are more willing to be happy with the relatively low prize money.

Hopefully next season they won't have contestants who look identical to their famous relatives.

That's one of my worries about the show's longevity, tbh. What made this season so cool is that the CR's were all pretty A-list. If they have to resort to recruiting I'd be afraid it would devolve into another has-been celebrity reality show like Masked Singer and Celebrity Big Brother have become.

Funny that LC's actual father is named Laurence and he named all the kids after himself, lol. Like George Foreman. 

With the exception of LC, these people's lack of pop culture knowledge is just embarrassing.

I think the opposite may happen because it opens the door for relatives of big name celebrities who are sightly more removed then children, grandchildren and siblings and therefore harder to make the connection. Like how you can look at Melissa McCarthy’s sister and see a resemblance but you’re not going see it with Jenny McCarthy. That’s what I meant by harder to guess.

Lark - you are all lying to each other. That is what the game is about. There is a lot of money on the line so why are you shocked that LC is playing to win. You should be too. 

Louise knew her time was up, even if she was the guesser. I pretty sure she had no idea who the other contestant's relatives are so she would have been eliminated either way.

Since the participants have zero country music knowledge and are under 40, it pretty much ensured longevity for Logan and Pepper so long as they avoided being the guesser and getting it wrong. Even the clues re Lark's aunt are citing work she did in 1980! 

Maybe they can get some middle aged folks to play next time - people who could look way back AND present day.

Last week they made it look like LC and Logan figured out Pepper's relative from the clues. In fact I assumed they'd shared that info at some point with Lark and Louise since their plan appeared to be for Louise to be the guesser and pick Pepper? I could be wrong.

And now Logan has figured out that LC isn't related to Laurence Fishburne after all since his name was on one of the stars. Way to tip the scales, show! 

And yeah, they're never gonna guess Logan, lol.

I expect LC to win the last competition and choose for Logan to guess her CR and he’ll get it wrong and she’ll win. I don’t see them guessing Logan’s CR although their name was mentioned and he’d win if he didn’t suck so bad at the challenges. None of them has mentioned LCs. I hope the show has life for at least 3 seasons, I’m loving it. But I wish they don’t reveal any CRs to us before it’s revealed in the guess off. Logan was really funny when he explained to the Jonases how he figured out Simone Biles.

I would not be surprised at all to learn when all this is over that Logan is actually very intelligent. graduated top of his class at college, works in an office or has his own successful business, and is just playing everybody the whole time. He has always managed to place himself in the middle of the pack and has only been the guesser when he wanted to be. He has picked his confidantes carefully and the people he wants out go that episode. Every person in that house has underestimated him at some time or another and only realized too late that he played them. I do think that if it comes down to him and LC, he knows who her celebrity relative is but she still may not know his.

How odd that Jason Aldean's name just happened to come up this week? I don't think it is producer shenanigans but that is not exactly a household name outside of country music. Most everyone has heard of Kenny Chesney, Garth Brooks, and Tim McGraw but, besides his duet with Kelly Clarkson, Aldean doesn't seem to be well known outside of the country circles. I used to listen to country all the time and liked his music and I still would not have come up with that name.

I too was surprised at the lack of pop culture knowledge by these people.  maybe being that close to some relatives they stay further away from pop culture?

If anyone puts the "nope" clue with the bee movie, they should figure it out for LC, but maybe because the button said "no" they won't remember the connection.  LC did such a good job deflecting the palm in the spot the difference challenge to whoopi's character in ghost, they may not ever figure out that was really her clue.  what was her clue in the feel the box challenge?  the Agave?  chile? 

hmm, spider (Zendaya), orange (Laverne Cox), astroturf (brett farve), moustache (rev. al), gym mat (simone), pottery clay (whoopi),  olives (dean/pepper) belt buckle (logan's relative)  not sure which could be Lark's either.

and I agree that unless you know a good amount about country music, you wouldn't know Jason Aldeans from Luke Bryant from Garth Brooks, etc.  i mean, any of them could have done a duet with Kelly Clarkson, wear a black or straw hat, have a bourbon label, have a song about a dirt country road, wear a belt buckle.  

they seem to be getting close to Lark, though if you don't know 80s modeling that well, how many could you guess?  there's only a few that have big enough names that most people would know.  but then again, see Logan.  there are probably many models who could have been in a tequila commercial.

and yes Lark, i think you are in a 3 v. 1.  You cannot help LC with either Logan or Pepper's relative, nor can you help the others with LC's.  at this point, if you cannot help, you are on an island alone.  your only hope is that they go in various pairs to figure out the third and take one another out.  but the 3 of them will work to find out yours.
