Recommended Posts

Did the UN intervene to stop the war in Vietnam? Where was the UN during the infamaous 1994 Rwandan Massacre? They were looking the other way when Africans fought senseless killing each other at the rate of 100/hour for 100 days.

The book Cities of Refuge examines the scene during the genocide. The main character of the sensational book is Felicien Kabuga, the most wanted ICTR fugitive who was arrested in Paris, France several months back. The author has asked new questions regarding the role of State and Church is wars. But in essence, by exposing the crimes during the Rwandan slaughter, he sends a strong message of peace and reconciliation.
