Olivia's story makes things complicated for Jordan and potentially for her as well. Patience has a release party for her new album and things get awkward for her and Coop. Billy struggles to balance everything going on with his life. Meanwhile, Layla and Jordan are forced to face their past demons when they get locked in Layla's recording studio, which tests their friendship. Airdate: 04/25/2022 Link to comment
KWalkerInc April 27, 2022 Share April 27, 2022 I finally got around to watching this episode. I still don't see why they gave Spencer and Jordan such unlikable teammates. Maybe we're supposed to root for d-bag quarterback to get injured and have his career go down the tubes. The actor who plays him isn't doing a great job, but it's not exactly a subtly written character. When Dillon wouldn't tell why he was sulking, I kept saying it was because he got dropped from the regular cast and can only appear in about four episodes the whole season. I thought that Spencer was going to come up with the idea to incorporate Dillon's art into his NIL brand about 20 minutes of episode time before it actually happened. I'm relieved that Jordan and Layla didn't kiss or anything when locked in together. Of course they will probably take that route eventually. The writers probably think that is the couple that people will want to see after they inevitably split Spencer and Olivia (although those two at least didn't fight this episode). I know Jordan thinks Layla needs closure, but I'm not convinced that going to visit Carrie is a great idea. Coop and Patience weren't exactly subtle in their attempts to make each other jealous. Sabine (? JoJo's character) at least gave Patience good advice to not get into games like that. It's nice that Sky seems to like Coop, but Coop isn't over Patience so it likely won't last too long. 1 Link to comment
